Graduated, Graduate Diploma

Posted on May 19, 2012May 21, 2012 By sweet surrender No Comments on Graduated, Graduate Diploma

It’s a surprised that I’m actually graduated from graduate diploma and was invited to attend the ceremony in August. I didn’t expect it because I had changed my program to master. Cool! Now I have 2 certificates instead of one hahaha… I’m not going to join the ceremony though, will just join the one in December for my master degree.

Got a mail on Thursday from the uni and found my official result transcript for graduate diploma. So, I’m officially graduated from my first postgrad education ;p The second one will be this end of the year. Graduate twice in a year, never expect that hahaha…

Anyway, since I changed my program, means now I have to fork out another amount of money for my visa extension and health check. Damn… I hate going for health check.

Easter Hotpot

Posted on April 9, 2012September 12, 2013 By sweet surrender 1 Comment on Easter Hotpot

Interesting long weekend I had. Friday and Saturday were really “naughty” *LOL* Sunday morning went to church then headed to my friends’ house for Chinese style hotpot. We were practically eating non-stop from 3pm-9pm.

Our food. Couldn’t finish them and my friends cooked them for the next day’s picnic trip at Victor Harbor. So full!

Photos, photos, and more photos…

In between late lunch and dinner, we played Wii and PS. My arms are so sore! What a workout. Made a last minute decision to stay at my friends’ place instead of going home because we’re going to Victor Harbor the next morning, so might as well just stay over and head out together the next day.

Happy Chinese New Year 2012!

Posted on January 23, 2012 By sweet surrender No Comments on Happy Chinese New Year 2012!

Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone! I miss the firecrackers, fireworks, food, people and more! This year is special to me. First time not celebrating it in Kuching instead in Seoul for the first 20 minutes of the dragon year, then the next 6 hours+ on the plane, up on sky, above many countries including my home Kuching. After that, in Singapore. Will fly out of Singapore at 11.30pm tonight.

Basically, I spent most of my 1st day of CNY in Singapore, now in my cousin’s house, spend most time sleeping, so tired as I’m not feeling well. Was sleeping almost throughout the flight last night. Gonna meet my friend at 4pm later. There no CNY feel here, Kuching is the best for CNY!

I was lucky to be offerred an earlier flight (4 hours earlier) in Busan, then got on the last flight out to Singapore from Incheon (9 hours earlier). However, no luck with flying out of Singapore early as the earlier flight is overbooked. My flight is also a full flight! ARG! Hate that! I’ve been enjoying the whole row for myself throughout the entire journey trip but not tonight. Suck… Some more I’m sick. Those sitting next to me will be surely afraid of me spreading my germ to them, I sneeze do much ;p

That’s all for now! Have a prosperous year ahead!

Happy 2012!

Happy 2012 from Sweet Surrender!

I welcomed 2012 at Incheon International Airport. First time welcoming a new year in the airport instead of at home or with my family. All these while I thought I’ll be welcoming 2012 in Adelaide, the place I called home now and with someone special but instead in a foreign land which I will be staying for 3 weeks as an exchange student getting “cultured”, in the airport some more and very much single ;p I’ve never thought of being in Korea. This is not even in my plan or in my dream. Life is getting exciting indeed.

Achieved most of the things I wanted to achieve last year. Only failure was in the relationship part, lots of ups and downs, all very short-lived. So this year, my very first new year’s resolution in my entire life, “Get into a REAL relationship with the right person”.

Happy new year everyone! I might come back with new look πŸ˜‰ Thinking of getting my haircut here. We’ll see… It’s getting too long already and I’m not willing to pay so much to get it cut in Australia because getting a haircut in Australia equals to about 3-4 haircuts back home which is also equivalent to 2 to 3 years worth of haircuts for me as I only cut my hair either once or twice a year.

Till then… Have a great 2012! Updates now will be from the Land of Kimchi! πŸ˜‰

Moscato Nights

Posted on December 28, 2011December 30, 2011 By sweet surrender No Comments on Moscato Nights

Had moscato nights since after exam.

First, it was on 10th Dec. SF gave WM and I a bottle of Oliver’s Taranga Small Batch Wines 2011 Moscato before she went back to Malaysia. Both WM and I decided to have it before WM catch the very early morning flight back to Malaysia. She stayed over at my place. We celebrated the end of exam.

We started to drink around 12am. One bottle, two girls shared. We thought we couldn’t finish the bottle in a night but apparently it’s not that much.

Then, at around 2am, another two friends came to my apartment after attending their friend’s bucks night. Frankly, I really enjoyed the night especially with someone who had showered me with all the affections I need but at the same time, he confused me heaps! I guess it was all due to the influence of alcohol he drank earlier on before coming over. It’s hard to know whether it’s real or otherwise. I didn’t dare to inquire about the actions when we met few days later for lunch because it might be embarassing or might give him a hard time since he might not remember about it. If I asked, it might feel like I’m attacking him instead I told him he was annoying when he asked me whether he’s funny or not that night -.-” how silly can I be?!?! I made thing worst!

Then, few days after that, again, I guess my acts turned him off when he paid me a visit sigh… I wasn’t feeling well and I didn’t know how to tell him because I’m not good at that. I’m “trained” all these years to be strong, be independent and not to bombard someone I like/love with negative things because I don’t want them to worry about me due to the type of relationships I had previously. I pretended that I’m okay but ended up as if I’m giving him a cold shoulder the whole night. I really do know how to screw things up. Then again, I do have some suspicions as well. I have this feelings that he might not be single but I never asked. It’s so confusing really… Oh well… After the visit few days ago, I guess it’s over… Time to move on?

The second round, it was on 22/12, it was winter solstice but another girl friend and I drank for Christmas *LOL* I didn’t know my friend wanted to drink because of Christmas instead of winter solstice ;p All these while I thought it was for winter solstice. Apparent she didn’t know it was winter solstice that day.

She bought a bottle of Gossips Moscato Sweet Lips, double brie cheese, avocado, and water crackers. I love the cheese! Found my favourite cheese. YUM! Too bad I don’t remember or take note of the brand of the cheese. All I know is that it’s quite expensive, AUD40+ per 1kg (it was on special). The moscato was very SWEET but surprising cheap! Only AUD5.99 for 750ml! Alcohol here is much cheaper than other drinks here.

There you go… Two moscato nights with the girls.

Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
