Got a magnetic earrings from Claire’s when I went to York Designer Outlet. Tried it out and I would say that it’s not practical to wear it and go about with your daily life because it can fall off very easily.

If you use your eyes a lot for computer screen or mobile devices, your eyes can feel tired and the area surrounding it will feel tense. We shouldn’t be looking at the screens for too long but sometimes we just cannot avoid it.
I found Medi Heally Eye on Pack awesome! I could feel my eye area including the forehead relaxed and my eyes were brighter too after using it. Even water retention, puffiness, and dark circle under the eyes are improved. The pack is self heating. Just put it on like wearing an eye mask, lie down on your bed, close your eyes and relax for 30 minutes. I would say to use it in the morning so that you can start your day with a fresh and rested eyes. Do it while you are snoozing 😉 hehehe…
Otherwise, use it at night before you sleep but make sure you remove it before you fall asleep because the heat can go up to 40 degree Celsius. Long exposure to heat might not be good, I’m worry that you might suffer capillary break around the area.
It has quite a fair bit of herbal smell but not too bad. The heat could really last for quite a fair bit. Maybe can use it as a heat pack if the day is cold instead of throwing it away after using it on your eyes.

If you are like me who doesn’t like extraction when you go to do facial, why don’t you give this a try.
Elizavecca Black Head Solution 3-Step Nose Pack costs only RM5 per packet(I bought it from Althea) and it works so well! No pain at all. To some people they might feel the pain but I did not feel any at all. One thing for sure, it is less painful or no pain at all compare to doing extraction.
How to use?
After you cleansed your face, use the 1st step. Paste it on the nose area and leave it on for 15 minutes before removing. My face is quite small but it fits me nicely.
Second step, dampened the nose area, I just use the essence inside step 1 to wet my nose. Paste the pink side on your nose. Hmm… I was expecting it to of the same shape as step 1 but it’s not. How come? Certain area didn’t get the chance to be extracted… Anyway, leave it to dry on your nose for 10-15 minutes.
Make sure you hold your skin tout and remove the sheet so that you won’t feel too much pain or tugging your skin too much which is not doing any good at all to your skin. Use two hands! One hand to hold the area nearby where you want to remove, don’t be like many Youtubers who just bloody pulled it off with one hand. Silly!
WARNING! It can be very yucky!! I haven’t do any extractions for God knows how long hahaha…

It was such an exciting news that Althea was going to introduce its new range of products in April!! Was waiting for it for sooo long and finally they revealed it! Being one of the Angels, I was fortunate enough to be sent with a box of cute and awesome products called A’bloom!!! Here’s my unboxing video:
First, it’s the A’bloom Refreshing Skin Masks Pack, look how cute they are!
It comes in 4 variants namely Water-Me-Long(Watermelon for moisture), Avo-Cuddle-Me(Avocado for nourishment), Sparkle-Me-Bright(Lemon Lime for whitening), AC-Me-Peach(Peach for anti-blemishes).
I tell you! It’s so different from the usual sheet mask that’s I’ve tried before. I’m not quite a sheet mask girl but being given with so many as gifts, I have no choice but to use them, otherwise wasted, ok?!? Why I don’t like sheet mask? That’s because it is so messy, it drips everywhere, my face is just too small to fit those huge masks! I dislike the after-feel of the stickiness that left behind after taking off and massage it in. Normally, I would wash them off after I felt that my skin had absorbed enough of the goodness and it can no longer take in anymore.
The A’bloom sheet mask is so thin! I accidentally ripped one of them a little, a bit hard to spread it out, it will be better for the mask to sit on a layer of ‘foil/plastic’ like other brands that produce very thin mask(you know what I meant?) for easy removal and application hahaha…
The good thing is that the essence doesn’t drip everywhere at all so you don’t have to worry about such problem while you try to spread the mask to your face. The texture of the essence is not watery at all, it’s between water, gel and jelly. Really don’t know how to explain. Hahaha…
It adheres nicely to my face, not worrying about it sliding down, no feeling of discomfort because some mask could make you feel like your skin cannot breath while having it on. The size… Hahaha… Still a little bit too big for me. Cannot blame them ok?!? My face is just smaller than usual *LOL* The smell is very subtle. I really love how my skin felt after using it albeit still feeling sticky after taking it off and massaging it in. As usual, I’ll wash the remaining essence off and followed with my usual skincare routine to seal the goodness into the skin.
The price? Only RM2/piece but go get a pack of 10 instead for better deal for only RM15!!!
Next, it’s the Meringue Puff!! OMG! It looks so cute and delicious!!
It has two sizes, Giant Meringue Puff(RM8) and Baby Meringue Puff(RM11).

Last but not least! A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster which is selling at RM16.00.
The stick contains natural ingredients namely natural BHA ingredients(deeply cleanse the pores and exfoliate dead skin cells), apricot seed powder(remove excessive sebum), charcoal(absorb dirt in the pores), and tea tree leaf oil(soothe your skin).
It is easy to use. Just dampened your skin, apply the stick directly on targeted areas and massage in circular motions for 30 seconds. After that, rinse off with water. Make sure you remove your makeup first before doing so.
I found it having cooling effect on my skin due to the tea tree leaf oil. No irritation at all. It is so gentle that you can use it daily but I personally won’t do that. Just me, I will use it maybe 2 to 3 times a week. I don’t see much improvements to my blackhead problem but my nose does feel smoother after using it. Do not expect things will happen overnight, you need to give it more time and use it religiously for it to be effective. I would say, no harm to try, I know many people tried similar products but many said it’s not effective. Anyway, with the price, it isn’t over the top so you won’t feel much heartache if it doesn’t work on you.

If you are wondering where to stay in Osaka, you can check out Hotel WBF Kitasemba East(2-6-8 Awajimachi, Chuo, Umeda, Osaka, Japan, 541-0047). I won’t say it is a cheap place to stay(price range between RM250-RM350 in general based on various OTAs listing), just happened that we stayed there when they just opened for business(summer 2018) so we managed to get a cheaper rate and we were sharing. Hence, it was within our budget. This is a 3-star hotel.
I won’t say it is very convenient(compare with the place we stayed in Shinsekai), no tourist attractions nearby, quite hard to locate but what’s more can you ask for when you have a budget to take care of? At least it’s new, modern, comfortable, and en-suite. Just a bit more walk needed to reach the hotel from Kitahama Subway Station(580m).
Room is small(what do you expect from Japan? hahaha…) but well-equipped. Quite comfortable. Free Wi-Fi provided. There were even pyjamas for us! I didn’t wear haha… Too big for me and kind of icky la…
Oh, they even provide bottles of various popular Japanese brands shower gel, shampoo and conditioner next to the reception counter if you want to try them out. Feel free to get them for your use during your stay. We just used whatever in the room and they’re quite good, the brand was Pola. The shampoo and conditioner were great! Hair was so soft and easy to manage after using it.
Coffee and tea making facilities are provided and it’s stored inside the cupboard under the table.
There’s even air purifier machine and spray for your shoes to get rid of odour.
We wanted to bring the free smartphone out to use to navigate the city but we gave up *LOL* using our own phone with pocket WiFi was so much easier.
We were also given with lounge pass when we signed up the hotel’s membership programme. As a token of appreciation, we were given with a bottle of water, a packet of coffee and trial pack of skincare product(makeup remover, cleanser, toner, and moisturizer). Strangely, I didn’t take photo of it hmm… Too tired I guess.
You can access the dining area and savour the snacks and drinks in there.

We were so excited with the free ramen served nightly at 9pm(I hope I recall the time correctly hahaha…). The ramen was really awesome! I’m not sure they still do that now though because this trip happened in August 2018 😀 We stayed there for 3 nights(or is it 4 night? Hahaha… Seriously I can’t remember anymore!!) Anyway, we had two different types of pork ramen as shown in this post. Different flavour each night but safe to say only two flavours available. It depends on your luck. Each guest is only entitled to one bowl.
We did not get the room with breakfast because of the price and heard that the choice wasn’t much too. We just settled our breakfast at nearby convenience stores.
Overall, the stay was pleasant. If you don’t mind the location, you can stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful and most can speak Mandarin because they are Chinese.
