It’s another year. How time flies?!? It’s Happy birthday again to me!

I just got back from an almost-one-month trip to the UK. Still feeling jet lag. Came back on Sunday night with no Internet connection. It’s not helping at all. I was already so tired from the journey home and had to deal with that. Finally, it’s fixed today after lots of pressing and complaining. I need more time to recover. Wasted 2 days of rest because of that.

Today, the actual day, I went to tHe Spring with the main aim to claim free birthday Boost Juice and a free gift from Watsons. Unfortunately, I couldn’t claim any of them. The former was experiencing system downtime. While the latter was my own mistake for not really understanding the claim mechanism. Furthermore, I ran out of data so there is no way to claim the gift as you need the app for it.

So! What is the odd for not being able to claim any birthday gift on the actual day?!?

I didn’t buy this Limited Edition CubicFun 3D Puzzle of Guangdong Arcade Building. It was given to me by the Tourism Administration of Guangdong Province, China. I went there in 2017 for an official trip. I am not sure how many of these were given out but I just can’t seem to find them anywhere online. I’m guessing that this is specifically designed for the tourism administration as one of their corporate souvenirs.

I am not into this kind of puzzle. Almost 5 years later, I opened this up and assembled it. Hahaha… For the sake of uploading a video on my YouTube channel because I ran out of content ;p It is quite an easy puzzle. I’m sure those in primary school or even kindergarten know how to do it. It took me almost an hour though. If it’s not because of filming it, I guess I could complete it in a shorter time frame.

After making this, I did find it quite fun to do. I don’t mind doing some other 3D puzzles if I got my hands on them. However, I won’t specifically buy it 😀 I do not mind getting it as a gift though. Anyway, do you like to play with this kind of puzzle?

I’ve been to China a few times for work purposes but I’ve never been there for leisure. I did blog about it before but not about the work. It’s more on the places I’ve been to while on duty and hotels that I stayed in when I was there. Funnily, I did not have any post on Guangzhou where I got this puzzle because the trip was too overwhelming. I had no time to take many photos of the trip except for work report purposes.

WOW! My last update was on 6th January. Too long a break. Too many things happening after the last post. Server was having problem for almost a week too. Was so busy trying to fix it. Only now have the time for quick update. CNY is on the way!! Too fast! Still a lot of things to do. Not enough time.

Just for the record, I didn’t expect my TikTok to “explode”. I didn’t expect one of my videos 2 days ago suddenly gone crazy with so many people watching and sharing. It’s just a random video with a poll question. It went crazy. I woke up with 30k views. Now, at almost 3pm, it’s hitting 60k views. My follower count was 200+ only, now I got 400+ and counting. My previous one that got 10K views in few hours was exactly 2 years ago on this day. I really don’t understand how TikTok’s algorithm works haha… It’s mysterious haha… You can check out my TikTok at Lovebellbelle @ TikTok

Happy Lunar New Year 2021

We’ve gone into 2021, now it’s the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Ox is here now! This year, no open house, everyone just stay put where they are. My sister and brother are not coming back too, they’re stuck overseas. Oh well… What to do? Just stay safe everyone so that we have more years to celebrate.

Can’t see the end of the tunnel yet but hopefully *finger crossed* soon we’ll get better. I would say just stay home this year, don’t go visit those not staying in the same household even though the government allows it with some SOPs in place. Being a smart person, you know you shouldn’t do it even when it’s allowed. We’ve seen cases that stemmed from family events the last few months, are you going to risk it and create a CNY clusters? It’s your choice.

Last but not least, please be responsible in protecting people around you. May the new year brings you great health, wealth, and happiness. Take care!
