Chocolate lave cake is common. Ever since I successfully made lava cake last year. I’ve been thinking of making different flavour lava cakes. Got Horlicks, so decided to try it out and it works! Instead of Milo, I replaced it with Horlicks.

Here’s the full recipe:
Ingredients:
A
4tbsp Horlicks
1tbsp Hot water
Mix them well until pasty.

B
1 Egg

C
3tbsp Flour

D
3tbsp melted butter(salted/unsalted butter)

Steps:
Combine A and B, mix well.
Combine C with AB mixture, mix well.
Add D to ABC mixture, mix well.
Grease the cupcake mould.
Pour ABCD batter into cupcake mould.
Steam for 8 minutes(DO NOT STEAM OVER 8 MINUTE!!).

Have fun trying! I have plan for matcha latte lava cake… Have all the ingredients, just need the mood to make and eat it. 😉

I had canned pineapple almost expiring laying around in the pantry not sure what to do with it. A friend told me to get Sprite and make pineapple Sprite with it. So I did. I did not have ice cubes, the ice cube tray was empty else I’ll add in ice cubes. As for the mint, it’s from my little pot of mint.

This is the easiest thing to make, ok? If you still don’t get it, I don’t know what else I can say *LOL*

Always fun to record and prepare instant hot pot. Bought this because I thought that it is not spicy as I don’t see the word “mala” on it but it’s actually spicy for those who cannot tolerate spiciness. It’s sourish too. If you like spicy salted vegetable soup, you can try this.

By the way, make sure you prepare this kind of hot pot on a table or surface that can handle high heat. Glass is a no-no.

Last year end, bought another instant pot. This time around, it’s rice pot. It’s fun ‘playing’ with this kind of product. Very interesting haha… Of course, I made a video for it too. Here’s the video for it.

Didn’t expect that uncooked rice can be cooked just with the heat from the heating pack. Interesting. No need rice cooker at all. You can imagine how much heat the heating pack can generate. Don’t play play. Make sure you take safety measure when you prepare this kind of pot. No wet hands when handling the heating pack! Also, place it on surface that can stand high heat, glass table is a NO!

Will be doing another one soon. Not rice though. It’s another brand of hot pot. Can’t wait to ‘play with it again’.

Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake Mix

It’s my first time making red velvet. Obviously not from scratch, it’s from Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake Mix. My cake always fail if I am to make it from scratch because it is hard for me to follow the instructions, I will always stray hahaha… Premix always saved the day ;p

It’s quite nice but since I’m not someone with sweet tooth, it is sweet enough for me. I did not have cream cheese so I did not do the frosting. It is still not bad on its own. Can try this out cake mix out if you are looking to make red velvet.
