Visited one of the new mall in Putrajaya, IOI City Mall and saw Magnum Putrajaya (Lot GE-3, IOI City Mall, Persiaran IRC, IOI Resort City, Putrajaya). I remembered I saw many people posting about it in FB months back, so this is what it is… So fancy, so gourmet!


Decided to get one, we made our own rather than choosing from the menu. These are all the toppings. RM9 per ice cream with toppings of your choice. If you want anything even grander, fancier, it will cost you more. I still cannot get myself to pay so much for an ice cream. Below RM10 is acceptable to me, more than that.. WOW! That money can cover how many proper meals. However, once in awhile should be OK for some people, not me though *LOL* Still, it’s very special and classy I must say.


Here’s our Magnum. Rose petals, dried mango, and almond on top of milk chocolate coated vanilla Magnum laced with white chocolate.

Verdict, normal magnum will do. No need all these fancy things. I don’t mind if I’m not paying for it 😛 Quite messy eating it too. Bad choice to have rose petals on it because the it stuck to the teeth hahaha… I had to rinse my mouth so many times but some still there and had to resort to use my finger to rub it away at the toilet.

Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms

I have no idea there’s a strawberry farm in Genting Highlands until last week. Went there for a visit. Not big, not too small. Not only strawberry but flowers and vegetables. Cannot compare with Cameron Highlands of course.

The Genting Highlands Strawberry Leisure Farm is a popular tourist attraction in Gohtong Jaya, nestled directly at town opposite the Mawar and Bunga Raya Apartments. The farm can easily be reached by taking left from the roundabout past Hotel Seri Malaysia (if coming from Karak Highway), and following the road all the way to its end. Strawberries are not the only cultivations – mushrooms, herbs, flowers and hydroponic vegetables are also grown here commercialy in adjoining nurseries. Besides the farm’s marketplace, visitors can also purchase strawberries by plucking them directly and paying by weight from 100gm onwards – this is a very popular family activity.

In fact, my first time seeing strawberry plant, I’ve never been to one in OZ last time 😛 Wanted to go but ended up didn’t find the place.

Bought a box of strawberry there for RM15, I heard Cameron’s is cheaper and tastes better. The one we bought at the farm was tasteless…

Tried the strawberry milkshake (RM11.55), I like! Very refreshing.


Walked further in, we found Lavender farm.


Previously in Adelaide, I didn’t get to visit Lavender farm because that time was summer and that area was closed due to fire hazard. Never thought that I would visit one. Well… Cannot compare of course but at least this is my first time come so close to so many lavenders. During the previous Perth trip, I only went to the shop selling lavender products, only a few lavender plants there.





Aside from strawberry and lavender, other flowers were there too such as rose, morning glory and those that I have no idea of the names. There’s also shops selling souvenirs and tid bits along the way before heading out.


Not to forget the mushroom farm.

Oh! Entrance is RM8 per adult.

3rd International Orchid Show 2015

Yesterday, got the opportunity to visit the 3rd International Orchid Show 2015 at Orchid Garden, Jalan Astana, near the DUN building. A four-day event, 10th-13th September.


Despite the haze and extremely hot weather, we still went. It’s such an eye opener. So many types of orchids!


There were International Orchid Landscape Exhibition by 13 participating countries, International Orchid Landscape Competition, International Orchid Landscape Competition, Individual Orchid Competition, Floral Arrangement Competition, and Orchid Bazaar.


I’ll just let the rest of the photos do the talking.

Yesterday was my birthday. Took a day off, need a break from work. I was being fed, well-fed LOL! Burp… Too much sugar too, too sweet. Double three… At this age (in fact starting mid twenties), questions you will automatically get…

Where’s your boyfriend? Don’t have…
When to get one? I don’t know…
Why you so picky? Not really…
Then, why don’t have? I don’t know…
Better be fast, you’re not young anymore. *POOF* off I go, not entertaining anymore questions.

When are you getting married? Don’t even have a man, how to marry?
Don’t you want to have children? Don’t even have a man, how to make?

This is what you get when you start asking me such questions. I don’t know… I have no answers to it, it’s been the same answers for so many years, don’t you feel tired kept asking me the same questions? If it’s here, it’s here; if it’s not, be it. Life isn’t all about this. Of course I wish I have one, of course I do want to have my own family, I know I’m not getting any younger but if it’s not meant to be, then it’s not meant to be. Forcing it won’t do any good.

Anyway, another year again… Things are pretty much still the same as last year. All I know is that I need a break… Another break… Perhaps away… Far far away… Fly away, fly away… Hmm… Whatever it is, I’m just thankful for what I have now and may my dreams come true.

Benefit High Beam Face Highlighter

It’s 31st August… How time flies! We are heading into September tomorrow! Today is Malaysia’s Independence Day. Enjoy the public holiday everyone! I’m not going to talk anything of this nature in this post. Just going to review this wonderful product I got, Benefit High Beam Face Highlighter.

I’m not sure how much it costs in Malaysia. My sister got this from UK, it’s priced at £19.50. Expensive! Fear not! This small bottle lasts forever as long that you tighten the cap after every use. You only need very little to achieve that glowing skin effect.

high beam creates that natural radiant glow you’ve always desired. It’s a a satiny pink highlighter that creates a young, radiant, fresh complexion on all skin tones. No self respecting make-up artist would be seen without it.


At first, I was quite hesitate to use it because was worry that the glow and the glitter might not be appropriate for normal daily use. After trying it out for the first time, I love the effect I saw in the mirror! WOW! Ever since then, it’s my must-have in my everyday makeup routine.

Normally I’ll just end my makeup with blusher. Now, before going for the blusher, I’ll dot and blend on my cheek bone, brow bone, and nose bridge. So lightweight and easy to blend. Great for any skin tone. Gave a very nice healthy and natural glow, love it when the light hits the areas. Amazing effect too can be seen from the photos. The face no longer looked so flat. Managed to cover up the pigmentation on my cheeks because of the glow.

Sometimes, if I’m going “natural”, no blusher, I’ll just apply this alone. Instant glow! You can also apply this after applying blusher if you want stronger effect. I prefer using it under so that will look more natural.

One application can last me one whole day. Doesn’t fade.


Left: With Benefit High Beam, very little makeup, no blusher. See the cheek bone and the nose bridge? The glow, not flat. Even my colleague was surprised with the glow I have, she thought my skin condition improved not knowing that it’s the effect of the product hehehe… *shhhh*

Great product! I highly recommended it. Price is a bit high but you are getting a great product that can last a very long time, only a little needed. 3 small dots on one side of the cheek bone only. Wonder how long will it take for me to finish the bottle.
