How time flies… Soon… Ramadhan will be over. Have you tried Sungkei Ria Ramadhan Buffet at Riverside Majestic Hotel Puteri Wing, Kuching?
If you are still trying to figure out where to have your fast breaking, you can try this out. It’s priced at RM85 per adult. If you purchase from Insiders Club mobile application or www.riversidemajestic.com/deals , you only need to pay RM77.30nett/person.
They have huge selections of food available ranging form local to international food. Do not miss out on the live cooking station as well for pasta and noodle. There’s also frying station for banana fritters, sweet potato fritters, and more.

Seri Sarawak Macam2 Ada Ramadhan Buffet @ Grand Margherita Hotel, Kuching
It’s that time of the year again… This time around, I’m going to share the one from Grand Margherita Hotel, Kuching, with you. It’s the famous Seri Sarawak Macam2 Ada Ramadhan Buffet. It’s at its poolside. Not too big, not too small, the size is just nice.
The buffet starts 6.30pm and ends at 10pm daily. Priced at RM96nett/adult and RM38nett/child. If you want to save a bit more, get it from their Insiders Club mobile app or from www.grandmargherita.com/deals at only RM72nett.
You can also get the voucher at RM85nett which you can redeem the Ramadhan buffet in any three outlets of theirs either for Seri Sarawak Macam2 Ada Ramadhan Buffet at Grand Margherita Hotel or Sungkei Ria Ramadhan Buffet at Riverside Majestic Puteri Wing or Nightly Buffet Dinner at Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing.
There’s over 100 local and international cuisines available from Malay food to Chinese food to Middle Eastern food to Western Food to Indian food and more! Too many to name.
Even Penang food too! I don’t think this option is available in other hotels’ Ramadhan buffet in Kuching. Chefs from Penang came here to cook and serve you! For example, Penang Char Kueh Tiaw, Penang Loh Bak, Hokkien Prawn Mee Soup, Seafood Omelette, Penang Fruit Rojak and Penang Asam Laksa.
Don’t forget the little corner of Japanese food too…

Selera Aneka Rasa Ramadan Buffet @ UCSI Hotel Kuching
It’s been quite a long time did not get invite to Ramadan buffet preview. Was fortunate enough to be invited by UCSI Hotel Kuching for it last weekend. It’s my first time trying out their Ramadan buffet.
The Ramadan buffet at the hotel will be located at The Quad Restaurant which can accommodate 150 diners with amazing view of Sarawak River and if you the weather is great, you will catch awesome sunset view here.
The lamb dish will always be the first one I go for whenever I go to Ramadan buffet. The lamb is specially made with traditional herbs and spices by their own kitchen team lead by Chef Bakthiar. It was not dry at all which is good.
Did you know that they are now halal certified? They had just attained the certification on 16th March 2019. Freshly out from the oven haha… Still pipping hot haha…
Chicken Shawarma and variety of fritters were available. I’m sucker for sweet potato and banana fritters hehe…
These are some photos of the food I had taken. You can view the overview of the buffet line in my Instagram video at the end of this post. Truth to be told, I didn’t manage to try all the food there. It’s just too many.
The bubur pedas was quite delicious, it’s one of my favourites. To end the meal, you can make your own ABC.
Also, many types of local cakes to try. I totally forgotten about eating these!! Hahaha… Was too full with all the mains.
