It’s another year. Another year older. 41 already! How time flies?! Happy birthday to me! I ordered a cake last month before I went to the UK. I’m still having jetlag *YAWN*

Anyway, hope I’m another year wiser. Also, hope that everyone who I love and care about is healthy and happy. To my blog’s readers, thank you for supporting this blog.

It’s June again! How time flies?!?! It’s that time of the year again! Gawai! It also means it’s a long weekend for those in Sarawak (provided you are not working on Saturday). So, what’s your plan for this long weekend?

Here’s a photo of me in a white Bidayuh costume that was taken back in 2018. It was taken at the Sarawak Cultural Village and the costume was also from them. This was my first time wearing the Bidayuh costume even though I’m half-Bidayuh.

Thanks to a friend who got me this opportunity. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos for the session as the photos were meant to be for the company that sponsored this photo session. I’m just the model. The one I’m sharing here is the one posted by the photographer on his personal Facebook page.

Anyway, wishing you a very happy and blessed Gawai Dayak. Silamat Andu Gawai Dayak! Have a safe celebration. Don’t drink and drive. Take care!

I’ve been quite occupied these days. Made quite a number of CNY cookies and snacks. Didn’t plan to make so many but ended up making so many haha! Here are some of them. Will share the recipe individually next time.

Happy New Year 2023 to all of you!

How fast?! Where did 2022 go? It’s 2023 now! Today is the second day of 2023 already. In 20 days’ time, the Lunar New Year will be coming. I will be busy baking and making some new year’s goodies these few weeks.

2022 was well… I don’t know… It’s too fast for me to process. What’s most important is that I’ve got through the year peacefully. I do not reflect too. What’s done is done. Move on!

There won’t be resolutions for 2023. I don’t do any. I will go with the flow and act accordingly. Why stress yourself with all those resolutions? *shrug* Most important is having an uneventful life. Peaceful, quiet, and healthy.

Happy Birthday to Me 2022

It’s another year… This time around, no longer in the three series but in the four series. How time flies?! Happy birthday to me!

Not sure how to feel. When I welcomed my 30s, there were so many dreams, hopes, and wishes but they didn’t turn out as planned. It’s OK. Life moves on. There have been ups and downs throughout the decade. Everything happened for a reason.

I am happy and grateful for what I have and where I am now. I’m not in the category where people are labeled as successful at this age. They are not me and I’m not them. Their lives are not mine and vice versa.

Not sure what this new decade will have for me. Whatever it is, the most important thing is for all my loved ones to be happy and healthy.
