My travelogue.
Collection of Food I Cooked in Adelaide (2)

Left: 29/3/2011, dineer. Noodle in egg and bok choy soup. The soup was chicken stock.
Right: 30/3/2011, lunch. Fried egg with bok choy and plain rice.

Left: 30/3/2011, dinner. Pot sticker with bok choy fried rice.
Right: 31/3/2011, lunch. Noodle and dumplings in seaweed soup and egg. My egg was supposed to be a whole perfect egg but it broke during the cooking process, I adccidentally pierced the yolk.

Left: 31/3/2011, dinner. Cheese rice(it’s from the packet but I forgot to take picture of the packet, just add water and cook, bought it at the supermarket) with boiled vegetables.
Right: 1/4/2011, dinner. Cheese rice with pot stickers and stir fry vegetables.

Left: 2/4/2011, dinner. Cheese rice with french beans served with sauteed potato slices.
Right: 3/4/2011, lunch. Got lazy, sautéed the rest of the potato slices from yesterday and bought a loaf of wholemeal bread to be eaten with it. The bread was toasted and spreaded with canola spread.

Left: 3/4/2011, dinner. Leftover potato slices from lunch, added into chicken carrot rice. Basically, I added some canola oil, chicken stock powder, and carrot into the rice cooker. Then stirred in the potato. As simple as that.
Right: 4/4/2011, Noodle and dumpling in vegetable soup. Again, the soup was chicken stock *LOL*

Collection of Food I Cooked in Adelaide (1)
Expect this kind of post more than me dining out. it’s too expensive to dine out. So cooking at home is much economical. It’s meant to be a collection of food that I had cooked and experimented when I’m in Adelaide and to see how many variety I could make during my stay here with minimal ingredients that I had purchased each week. I don’t stock up, I make sure I clear the food I bought before buying new ones to ensure no wastage. There will not be any duplicate posting of the same food.

Left: 24/2/2011, dinner. Bought Continental Savoury Tomato & Onion Pasta & Sauce. Cooked it with cherry tomato.

Left: 25/2/2011, dinner. Plain rice with lightly marinated(barbecue powder) beef and cherry tomato. The cherry tomato was sautéed in the juice from pan seared the beef.
Right: 26/2/2011, dinner. Plain rice fried with bok choy and sizzling beef lightly marinated(salt and pepper).

Left: 27/3/2011, dinner. Noodle in seaweed soup with bok choy.
I don’t remember why on those days I didn’t cook lunch *LOL*
Right: 28/3/2011, lunch. Pot stickers with bok choy.

Left: 28/3/2011, dinner. Dry noodle (flavoured with chicken powder stock) with bok choy.
Right: 29/3/2011, lunch. Dumplings and noodle with bok choy in seaweed soup.
The seaweed soup was from the packet, all I did was open up the packet of seaweed with the seasoning in there and pour into the boiling water with the noodle and other ingredients. Nothing fancy.

Elder Park
As I mentioned before, I found this place accidentally. I went there again 2 Sundays ago just to sit there and see the world go by and enjoying the sun.
Going to keep it short, just to show you the photos:

Colourful…

See how people here spend their weekend with their loved one.

Left: My first time encountered black swans. In fact all the swans here are black.
Right: Very nice blur sky. It was really bright and it was abour 4pm. The sun was quite harsh too.

Left: Random shoot.
Right: Me again…
Basically, that’s all for now on exploring Adelaide posts. There’s still many places I haven’t go in the city what’s more the suburbs and the outskirt. Wait till I have the mood again or found people that want to go with me.
Enough for now, need to shift to study mode for now. This is my very first time attending a university. Did my degree via e-learning that’s why. This is a totally whole new experience for me.
Glenelg
Finally I paid Glenelg a visit.

It was so hot there.

My very first time visiting a foreign beach, minus Sentosa in Singapore ;p

The weather was so nice to go to the beach.

So much different from the beach we have back home. My first time seeing clear blue sea.

Just can’t help it but to post lots of photos to share with you.
