It’s October! One more month to Perth!!

Ok… Enough of food and event posts for the time being. Going to post about skincare product.

I managed to try out Clarins Instant Eye Make-up Remover (Waterproof and Heavy Make-up) and the result is amazing!

True to its claim, makeup can be easily removed. Even waterproof. What’s more, I tried all possible eye makeup remover, nothing can easily remove Maybelline Hypercurl Volum Express Cat Eyes, removing it is a pain in the arse! However, Clarins Instant Eye Make-up Remover does it easily, no tugging, no rubbing, no effort at all and it’s gone!

The scent is refreshing. Doesn’t sting or make your vision blur too. Not oily at all.

This is by far the best makeup remover I ever tried. However, the price isn’t that kind to the pocket. This is the only set back. Not sure how much is the price in Malaysia though, it’s selling USD28 in the US. I got this as sample from my sister who got it from UK.

Sephora is Finally in Kuching!

Getting Benefit, Stila, NYX, Bare Escentuals, Urban Decay and etc. is no longer a dream for those in Kuching! You don’t have to go all the way to KL or Singapore for them! HAPPY!!



1st September, marked the opening of Sephora (the 9th outlet) at tHe Spring and was lucky enough to be able to attend the launch before they open it up to the public.

We’re given with RM50 gift voucher each and expired on the same day too. So… Being human, we will certainly want to use it to get something for free. Yes, can surely get something for free with this but you just want to fully utilize it so you ended up buying over RM50 and paid for the extra with cash. I would have just get a RM50 product and not paying any cash but I don’t need that thing hence I rather buy something I need. At least I only paid RM8 for RM58 worth of products ;p


Butter and Ciaté nail polish are now available here! At least get to try them out and Butter is great! Very pigmented. One stroke is enough, no need layers of application. Love Ciaté packaging, very cute.


Sephora’s own products. So many! It took me a very long time to decide what to get but I ended up getting nothing from here hehehe… The prices are very reasonable.

Luckily it’s not as big as those in West Malaysia and Singapore, the size is just nice. It took me more than an hour to decide what to buy with that RM50 gift voucher *LOL* Queued for almost half hour too and I was the last invited guest to check-out hehehe… We no longer have to fly out/shop online/ask people to help to buy those products anymore, it’s now at our own doorstep. Hurray to that!

On the other note, H&M is coming soon too! I hope not in early November because I want to attend the opening too!

Ramadhan is Around…

Hello!!! Have been really busy with work, especially this. Dressing up like this for a company function. Never in my life wearing a jubah. Fits me just right just that the length is really quite painful, easily step on it.

Was required to walk around a lot ushering the guests, luckily didn’t trip =.=” Few times actually, almost, luckily… So I had to pull it up whenever I walked. Also, had to ensure that I didn’t step on my own dress while sitting as it would be an issue when I stood up because I would just fall face down! It’s not gonna be a good scene with all the important people around. Shudder just to think of it.

The sleeves was supposed to be long but I rolled them up due to unforeseen circumstances.

Hopefully next week will be freer after the next project ended. Very exhausting doing all these even though it’s kind of fun in a way. Can I have a break?

Finally, In a Kebaya

Remember the kebaya I bought last year in Melaka?

Never had the chance to officially wear it. Finally the chance was here early this month. Wore it to my company’s annual award night but too bad wasn’t entitled to any award or even lucky draw as I’m still new hehehe… Had fun dressed up though.

It’s pretty hard to walk in that sarong without kept stepping on it, I had to pull it up to walk to avoid stepping on it then fell face down! Hahaha…

It’s been a long time not posting photos of myself in this blog aside from Twitpic.

Now that I’ve worn it, it’s not a waste of money not wearing it after buying it. I was so concerned about not having place to wear it to. Good thing for the theme of the night, I got to wear it for the first time and fully dressed up πŸ˜‰

Enjoy your long weekend! Need to go back to work again tomorrow. Boooo… I was thinking of just buying a flight ticket and fly somewhere for the weekend but I didn’t. I miss the days when I can just go off anytime anywhere without worrying about coming back to mountain pile of work or responsibilities.

By the way, remember I mentioned about the haunted hotel we stayed during our road trip? Still got no mood to share about it *LOL*

Kate Slim Gel Pencil

Kate Slim Gel Pencil (RM44) is a twist-up gel pencil liner. Got this last year June and finally opened it to use.


The tip is very fine and easily glide on. The colour is intense enough. It’s easy to use, no tugging at all. Even with shaky hand, you won’t get it all messy, a fine line can be achieved without any problem. Drawing on the waterline or lash line is a breeze.

A great eyeliner if it doesn’t smudge. On my lash line, it didn’t smudge that bad; but it smudged easily on my waterline. The liner is waterproof but no claim of being smudge proof. I had two and gave one to my sister. It smudged on her too.

By the way, once you twisted it out, you cannot retract it anymore. So be sure to only twist what you need.

Will I go back to it? I don’t think so unless it is both water and smudge proof. However, I might still go back to Kate to try the others.
