It’s my first time making red velvet. Obviously not from scratch, it’s from Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake Mix. My cake always fail if I am to make it from scratch because it is hard for me to follow the instructions, I will always stray hahaha… Premix always saved the day ;p

It’s quite nice but since I’m not someone with sweet tooth, it is sweet enough for me. I did not have cream cheese so I did not do the frosting. It is still not bad on its own. Can try this out cake mix out if you are looking to make red velvet.

Back to the noodle, the taste is very close to the real thing. According to many friends, they said that all you need to do it is add some fresh prawns in and it’ll taste even better. If you do crave for HarMee and can’t travel to Penang, this might be the answer to satisfy your craving.

It’s been a long time not sharing recipe and cooking related post. Here’s one that I did on my YouTube. In fact I did this to join the contest organized by Nestle. Just for the fun of it since I happened to have the ingredients for it and I was planning it as part of my YouTube content. Still awaiting for the winners announcement, finger crossed even though I know my chance isn’t high.

INGREDIENTS
Part A:
4 Tbsp Nestum Grains & More 3in1 Oat
1 Tbsp Hot water
*Mix both ingredients until pasty.

Part B:
1 Egg

Part C:
3 Tbsp All-purpose Flour
1 to 2 Tbsp Sugar (Optional. If you have sweet tooth, feel free to add sugar.)

Part D:
3 Tbsp melted butter/margarine/oil

STEPS:
1. Combine A and B, mix well.

2. Combine C with AB mixture, mix well.

3. Combine ABC mixture with D, mix well.

4. Grease the cupcake mould.

5. Pour the batter into greased cupcake mould.

6. Steam for 15 to 18 minutes. (This is only applicable for cupcakes/muffins. Bigger cake will need longer time)

7. Ready to eat.

This recipe is versatile enough to modify. All you need to do is replace Nestum Grains & More 3in1 Oat with the same amount of your favourite Nestum Grains & More 3in1 or Milo or Nescafe or combine them all 😜 Happy trying!

This is my first time making chocolate cookies. As usual, premix saved all the troubles. Since I couldn’t gauge whether it is really properly baked because of the colour, so I over-baked it and turned out to be really tough. The taste wasn’t too bad though. I’m not into sweet food, so one is more than enough for me, it’s quite sweet.

To make this, all you need is water and butter. The rest of the work will be mixing the dough and baking it.

Anyway, if you are in the UK, you can get this from Morrisons(obviously… ;p). If you are not, I’m sure there are other brands available.

I got a box of Betty Crocker Delights Tangy Lemon & Buttery Shortcrust Bar Mix early this year, I’ve never eaten the actual lemon bar. This is my first time making it and eating it.

Premix is always very easy. In this video, I unbox it, mix it, and bake it. I did not have oven with me and do not have the recommended tray so I just improvised with whatever I have.

The end result with the tray is how it’s supposed to look like and the texture on top is compact and soft. While the one with cupcake mould, the lemon topping texture isn’t the same as with the tray, it’s more soft and airy with more air bubbles. However, they tasted exactly the same.

How do I like it? It’s too sweet for me. I can only eat one small piece, can’t go beyond that.
