How Absent Minded Am I Today?

Posted on January 10, 2009 By sweet surrender 3 Comments on How Absent Minded Am I Today?

I can be quite absent minded when I got my you-know-the-monthly-thing *LOL* Few times, I forgotten to bring my whole card holder which holds my driving license, IC, credit card, some money and so on. So yea… Sometimes I drove without my driving license and without a single cent hahaha… Thank God I’m in Kuching hahaha…

Then today, I do remember my card holder, bringing a big bag to class but guess what I had forgotten? My phone, my file that contains receipts for my course that I’m supposed to bring to exchange with a newly issued receipt and my notebook(not laptop ;p). As if not even enough, I forgotten to swtich off my headlight after I parked my car!

After about half hour later, one of the college employees brought a piece of paper up to our classroom with my carplate written so big on it and the word “headlight is on”. Gosh… It took me a while to digest the carplate hahaha… Then I gave a loud “OPSSSS” in class and quickly dashed out. *SWEAT* It’s a funny sight. I sometimes can’t remember the number even though it’s only 3 numbers! Once I even asked my friend what’s my carplate when I was filling a form.

Luckily they informed me else I’m going to be given a good long lecture from my dad if the car can’t start. Worst, I didn’t bring my phone and it rains so heavily.

So far this is the worst I had experienced ;p I know some of you got experiences worst than mine but I hope this will be my worst and no more hahaha…

Guess what?!?! The culprit? The monthly-thing came for a visit. I really don’t know to laugh or to cry.

Jacob’s Crak’s

Posted on January 9, 2009January 9, 2009 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Jacob’s Crak’s

My first encounter with Jacob’s Crak’s was quite sometimes ago when my mother bought it, she bought original flavour that time. I thought it’s just normal cream crackers but I was so wrong. I don’t know how to explain it hahaha…

Then I bought cream onion flavour to try. One packet costs RM3 something. I prefer this than the original one because it’s much more flavourful as in more salty ;p

Great snack to have when the mouth is looking for something to munch.

Nuff said… The title had said it all *LOL*

Wonder should I bake some cookies this year for CNY? Kinda lazy but I found out that I have one week to do them and 2 weekends with no classes. YAY! Not much preparation this year. In fact, what is there to prepare? It’s not like there will be many guests coming, can even count with 5 fingers hahaha…

Less than 20 days to go…

Dragon Fruit Jelly

Posted on January 7, 2009January 8, 2009 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Dragon Fruit Jelly

Was given with some dragon fruits few weeks back and the texture and the colour were turning almost everyone off. I thought why not make dragon fruit jelly? At least it will be easier to eat than eating the whole thing just like that.

So I did… All ingredients were roughly estimated, well… I’m not the kind that can stick to a recipe ;p. If you want it to be sweeter add more sugar. As for the jelly(agar-agar) strip and water, I just followed the instructions on the packaging; as for the dragon fruit, I just use the whole dragon fruit, small one.

1. Boil the water.
2. Add in the jelly(agar-agar) strips.
3. Let it dissolves as much as you can.
4. Add in sugar, up to how sweet you want it to be.
5. Stir until the sugar dilutes. If there’s still some strips that can’t seem to dissolve, just scoop those out.
6. Add in partially/completely mashed dragon fruit. You can also opt to have it in cubes. It’s up to you.
7. Stir for a while until it boils.
8. Off the fire and transfer to the tray for cooling.
9. Once it’s cooled, place into fridge.

The colour is so strong! It’s natural colour so you don’t have to worry. I think you can use this colour for tang yuen or even cakes or cookies rather than using those artifical colourings. It even stained my fingers and took a while to get rid of the colour.

Weight Gain, Gain Weight?

Posted on January 6, 2009January 7, 2009 By sweet surrender 27 Comments on Weight Gain, Gain Weight?

Many of you know that I eat, eat, eat and never worry about my weight. I’m underweight hahaha… I can’t seem to put on weight. Then my parents decided to buy Weight Gain, actually it’s for my bro but I also try it out. It’s not cheap, it’s almost RM100 a tin and you must finish it in 3 weeks.

I’ve been drinking it for few days, nothing much. I’m still the same, I don’t have a scale at home so I don’t know ;p I’m just judging from my look hahaha… Also I’m not that discipline! Supposed to drink it 2-3 times a day, one hour after each meal, and each time 3 1/2 – 4 scoops diluted with 300ml of warm water. I only drink it once a day or if I’m hardworking enough, then I’ll drink it 2 times a day, after lunch and after dinner.

The taste? As if drinking chocolate with salt ;p It contains lots of protein and when I think of protein, I feel wanna puke hahaha… The first time I drank, I almost puke because I think of the smell of uncooked egg white *LOL*

Weight Gain is high protein milk formula fortified with lysine. Will I gain weight after the whole tin gone? I don’t think so *BLEK* My friend drank it before and she said it has no effect on her. Anyone gain any weight after drinking this?

Why do you want to dig that far?
