Mix Feelings

I have a dream(not revealing it now until it’s 100% confirmed). I let it go 6 years ago due to financial issue, then missed my chance 1 year later due to certain circumstances.

Last year, I took the leap, ventured into an unknown territory hoping to lay a foundation to my dream and it’s not cheap. During these period of time, there are moments when I felt like I could achieve it and moments when something would discourage me. Nothing else but it’s all money matters. Money oh money…

I was sort of being given the green light just now on the money part by my dad. I’m happy that I can at least be surer of my dream but at the same time I feel restless, worry, uncertain, bad, guilty, and selfish. I cannot achieve my dream with the money I have, even by digging my saving dry, I still can’t even cover 20% of my dream. I still have a brother that needs to continue his studies and a sister that is studying in UK. They also need the money too.

Thing is not happening for now but time will really fly and before you knew it, the time will be here. Early preparations are needed. There are so many arrangements that need to be made. Can’t wait till the last minute.

It’s a dream of mine, a chance that will not be given anymore if I let this one go and a huge decision to make at my age now as it will be a life changing event. At the end, it still boils down to money, nothing else. If there’s enough money, I will not have such mix feelings at all.

I know… Some of you will want to scold or lecture me for giving such burden to my parents when they should be enjoying their life with the money they are making for years and with my age now I shouldn’t be getting a single cent from them. What’s more just to fulfill my own dream. See… I know what you will be saying. So save your lectures on me. If I do not think this way, then do you think I will have such feelings?

Sigh…

“My best Christmas Celebration was definitely last Christmas. After my divorce in 2003, my son and I) are always apart during Christmas. The reason being he will spend his school holidays with his dad and this goes continue right through after Christmas. I used to remember spending Christmas alone at home. It was sad being away from someone you love so much and someone who has been with you since birth.

Last year was definitely different. We had our Christmas in Hong Kong last year through the courtesy of my sis. My mum went along too. Though we reached there much too early for Christmas (from 12-16 December) we had a ball. My sis and her hubby organized a pre-Christmas dinner at her apartment overlooking the Hong Kong City. The atmosphere of Christmas in Hong Kong is beyond words. Even when you are not in the mood, you automatically sink into that festive season.

On a cherry note, spending that particular Christmas with my son, my mum and my sis plus hubby was spectacular and heart-warming. We had so much fun decorating the trees and preparing the food. Not so much of the shopping but the fact that from 2003 right up to 2007, 2008 was the only year I have so far to spend Christmas with my son. It truly meant a lot. I didn’t even dare to ask for my Christmas wish from Santa knowing that it ware mere impossible but then God works in His mysterious ways.

Truly from the bottom of my heart, the best Christmas of all. I couldn’t ask for anything more.”

Talent Show

Finally… Done with my exam. Suddenly I feel so empty -.-” Weeks of being busy and lots of preparations with so many things and now it’s done and over. I have plans for this long holiday of mine but suddenly I don’t know where to start now. *LOL* I want to bake, I want to sing karaoke, I want to plan my KL trip, I want to… Suddenly can’t think of what I want to do. Think I might want to find a part time job ;p I will be so free until February. Anybody wanna hire me? Hahaha…

Today is also the talent show for tHe Spring Ambassador Hunt which I couldn’t attend. I made a last minute decision to go over to see whether I can do something last minute but nuh~ Nothing. Wanna sing but what to sing? Wanna dance but what kind of dance? Tell joke but I sucks at this. Just talk but I got nothing to talk unless I blah my exam notes *LOL* I got nothing prepared so I decided not to go for it.

My initial plan was doing food decoration and even had my “cute and sexy” costume prepared but didn’t get the chance to wear it ;p coz the show clashed with my exam so I didn’t prepare my food for the show.

I went there at around 4pm and it almost ended with last two contestants waiting for their turn.

Morgan, the last one to perform. As usual, this guy is always ever ready to do something to blow your mind away. I think he did, something unique.

Ended up I did nothing there. I sneaked to backstage just for fun and they asked me to join them for the finale. Hahaha… I felt so under dressed, with almost no makeup(only very little foundation and blusher), and my hair was a mess ;p This is my first time showing up to this hunt like this -.-” What’s more, go up on the stage like this.

Heard that there will be 4 eliminated and the rest will be going into the final. Not so sure, I do not have details for it. Hmmm… I really don’t know will I be one of the four. Oh well… Whatever will be… Will be…

Exam tomorrow, so will be spending time doing final exam preparation. Will not be able to attend tomorrow’s talent show for tHe Spring Ambassador Hunt due to exam. What to do? Exam is more important.

Today, I’m going to share 2 winners’ entries with you instead of one. How’s your Christmas? Today is already the 26th, so I think it’s better to share more Christmas stories while the Christmas mood is still here.

The best christmas experience is when I was baptized on 25/12/2000 where I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. That was the most meaningful christmas that I have ever had in my entire life, besides just having family dinner and exchanging gifts. Christmas is a day where I will remember Jesus and his birthday. This year I would like to celebrate Christmas by bringing some happiness into people’s life, by giving and helping the needy, just as Jesus did. And I hope to win a pair of gingerbread man as my christmas present 🙂

Went to church this morning for Christmas service. Took some videos and photos to share with you.

Praising session led by the choir. I captured the video with the wrong format ;p So it’s blurred.

Song by the church choir accompanied with tambourine dance. I learned this dance before but don’t remember the steps now ;p Each movement has its own meaning.
