I’ve been wanted to go to Mt. Lofty but never got the chance until yesterday. A friend invited me to see the sunset there. I immediately agreed to it. Done with my exam that afternoon, it’s a great way to celebrate it. The road condition was quite dangerous and deserted as my friend was using smaller roads instead of other roads which can also lead to the same place. There were so many blind corners and sharp bends. The scenery along the way was quite breathtaking too. The car ride was an exciting especially in a M3.

Here’s the view up there at Mt. Lofty. We drove up there instead of walking or hike up there.

The view was amazing! So nice!

It’s already 8.15pm+ that time if not mistaken. It was getting really cold with the wind.


Hopefully can go there again… Love the view!

After that, went for ride to other small towns around the area. Drove through the hilly roads, could feel the change of altitude. Along the way, the night view of the city can be seen also. I won’t dare to drive on these roads, really scary.

My holiday officially starts today 😉 Less than a month and I’ll be blogging from Busan, Korea.

Looking and hearing so many people talking about the shatter nail polish, I always wanted to have one but never get to buy one because it’s expensive. Don’t want to spend too much money on nail polish.

Few weeks back, was feeling down and I decided to go on Ebay to see if there’s any nail polish colour that I want to buy to cheer myself up. I’ve been using the same colour for month and wanted a change.

Found shatter nail polish listed in Ebay for only USD8.75 (inclusive of postage). There’s so many colours to choose. I ended up choosing Serena Glam Slam RED. It finally arrived last week.

Did not know how to use it the first time. Found it a bit hard to use. Messed up everything. So I went online to find how to apply it. That night, I tried it again. BINGO! Got it!

The base colour I’m using is Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron in MAUVE ON & ON. The top coat is Express Finish.

It took me awhile to get used to this shatter nail polish. It looked horrible when first applied but the more I looked at it, the more I like it but not on all 10 fingers. I’m having it on all 10 fingers now and kind of regret applying to all of them. I prefer to have it on alternate fingers.

How to apply?
One layer of shatter on top of our base colour is enough. Try to cover the whole nail in one stroke. The brush is enough for me to cover the whole nail in one stroke albeit giving me all the messiness but at the end of the day, those not on the nail can be easily remove. Use whatever you have on the brush instead of getting rid of the excess at the rim. It’s not like normal nail polish. Let it dry thoroughly after applying and you’ll see the magic. You have to be really fast too. Don’t have to worry about the imperfection as once it cracked, it makes no difference. Once it’s fully dried, don’t forget the top coat, it’s a must! Also, make sure the base coat is really dry too.

It will take multiple attmepts to generate the desired effect. Practice makes perfect. Thick layer and thinner layer will have different outcomes.

Those on my fingers, I considered it a success, this is the second attempt. While those on my toes, it’s not what I had expected it to be because I experimented it on my toes after failed the first fingers application ;p

All right! Exam tomorrow. Then I’ll have my holiday (not really a holiday, just study break, still have to work, need to do the project back home that I need to continue and also casual work here to earn extra money for my Korea trip). Less than a month, I’ll be in Korea! Will get to experience snow!! WEEE!!!

Final Month of 2011

It’s the final month of 2011, that’s so fast! Last year this time I was busy with my final semester exam for my Early Childhood Education Diploma and also busy with the procedures of coming here. Now… One year later, I’m here, half way through my programme.

Oh, I had submitted the application to continue to study master here, means I’ll only go back to Malaysia this time next year. About one year to go before my time here is up. Still waiting for the approval. Hopefully will get the reply within this month or before I come back to Adelaide. Had my study plan all planned, if the approval is delayed I will have a bit of problem by then. I sucks in accounting and I need to take accouting to complete the master degree, so I had planned to concentrate on this one subject on the final study period coz I don’t want to fail it or do badly in it. Can only do so if the application is approved before I come back.

Been sleeping late lately -.-” Bad habit. Must try to sleep early after exam.

Will be back updating normally next week hehehe…
