Wa Bay Zai – Sarawak Chinese Slang (S3/Pt6)

Posted on January 14, 2021 By sweet surrender No Comments on Wa Bay Zai – Sarawak Chinese Slang (S3/Pt6)

Sigh… Number of cases is increasing day by day. The number is not looking good. Now many places are under MCO2.0. Kuching is currently in CMCO but foresee that we might have to shift to MCO2.0 mode if things are not improving as there are too many got exposed during Christmas and New Year. Wa bay zai when this whole thing will end. So disheartening to see the situation these days. With the flood again due to the non-stop rain, it’s not making things looking any better.

Meanwhile, please take care of yourself and those surrounding you. People no longer bother about any SOP anymore which is why things are getting out of control. Be a responsible person, do not put others at risk.

La Ku – Sarawak Chinese Slang (S3/Pt4)

Posted on December 13, 2020 By sweet surrender No Comments on La Ku – Sarawak Chinese Slang (S3/Pt4)

Coming into mid month… Christmas is around the corner. Yesterday was 12/12, I wonder how much people had spent yesterday and what is the most la ku item.

My goodness… CNY ads are coming out and CNY songs too! How fast time flies?!?! So… What is the most la ku thing for CNY next year? I foresee there will not be much celebrations as we are still stuck with this pandemic. Many will still not be able to get home. Most will just close their doors to any visitors. The situation is not getting any better with people can now move around without much restrictions. It will get worst. So… Stay safe and take care of yourself.

Meanwhile, take care and stay safe. An chua stay safe? Stop going around to too many places and expose yourself to higher risk of getting infected. As simple as that! That’s why we are having movement control order, if you don’t follow, say so much also bo yong.

Posted on November 17, 2020 By sweet surrender No Comments on Ka Liu – Sarawak Chinese Slang (S3/Pt1)

After few months of break, finally got the first episode up after procrastinating for quite some time. The first slang for this season is something from the Foochow dialect. Check it out πŸ˜‰

Hope you can subscribe to my channel. There will be 15 more slang that will be featured for the next 15 weeks.

We are approaching December… 2020 is going to end very soon. Who would expect we would be spending our 2020 this way… Anyway, stay safe!

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
