Buy Aveeno, Bourjois, Vichy and More, Deliver within Malaysia

Posted on April 24, 2013April 15, 2015 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Buy Aveeno, Bourjois, Vichy and More, Deliver within Malaysia

**No longer active. Thank you for coming.

I had set up a website for my shopping spree. Do have a look 🙂

I’m not sure how many readers left for my blog. It’s been pretty quiet ever since I left for Australia. Anyway, I’m now back in Kuching for good and I will try my luck promoting my new project here.

So… What I’ve been busying these days apart from job hunt, eat, sleep, and play games? This is my latest project. I’m gonna do a shopping spree between end of June to early July 2013. I’m going to UK and Paris!! Woots! Finally I’m going there!

Since I will be going to UK, I know there are some products which are selling cheaper there and I am going to get it for myself and thought that I might as well help others to get them too if they want. There are also products which are not available in Malaysia and I know there are Malaysians who are using those products and they could only get it online. Therefore, I’m going to help them purchase those products as I’m the user of those products too.

So I started this FB page, Sweet Surrender Shopping Spree:

It’s very simply:

1. “LIKE” my page
2. Make your order based on the products I had listed out.
3. I will confirm your order and you pay 70% of the total to me.
4. When I come back from my trip, before I send the items out, just pay me the balance which is 30% add on with the shipping fee. I will then ship the product to you, right to your doorstep.

As simple as that.

Aveeno, Bourjois, and Vichy are products that I know many Malaysians are using or wanting to get their hands on but it’s not available in Malaysia. Most people would get it online. Why don’t check them out in my page and I can help you get them.

I will be adding in more products and brands from time to time.

One thing to bear in mind though, the items will only be available in July after I got back from my trip. Therefore, if you urgently need it, I won’t be able to deliver. Only those who are willing to wait or only need them after July are welcome to order from me.

Please help me with this little project of mine. If it’s successful, I will do it more often. I’m not sure when will be my next spree after this one so do not miss out in getting your favourite products. I will be the one who personally shop it for you. I figured this will be my one and only shopping spree for 2013.

Please help me by sharing it to your friends. Thanks in advance. Hopefully this project will be a success.

Melbourne (13/2/13-16/2/13) – Part 6

Posted on April 22, 2013April 22, 2013 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Melbourne (13/2/13-16/2/13) – Part 6

Final part of Melbourne trip. Our flight was at night, so in the morning we went to QV for a walk and lunch before going to the airport.

Simple found a place to settle our lunch at the food court. Don’t even remember the name hahaha… Anyway, it was located near Dan Murphy in QV. They served Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine. We ordered their lunch set which came with a glass of drink.

Left: Singapore Fried Noodle with Shrimps.

Left: Beef Brisket with Noodle Soup.
Right: Chicken Spare Ribs in Spicy Salt and Steamed Rice. If this came with a small bowl of soup, it would be great as it’s too dry.

Overall, the food was ok. Service was great.

After lunch, we had a walk at QV and came to this place where they are having a exhibition in creating some sort of awareness.

Guests were allowed to write their wishes on the cards and tie it anywhere in the area. Very interesting concept.

We also went to the library for air-con *LOL* too hot out there! Spent our time there until about 3pm and we headed back to our apartment to wait for our taxi.

Off we went to the airport. Window shopping at the airport. Then we had our dinner at Nando’s before boarding.

This sums up the our Melbourne trip. We reached Adelaide quite late at night and there was massive jam in the city because of the Chinese New Year event at Chinatown and also because it’s a Saturday, people were out too.

Melbourne (13/2/13-16/2/13) – Part 5

After lunch, we headed to the Twelve Apostles.

Before that, we stopped at Maits Rest where you can find rainforest trail. Don’t even bother to go on a hike our very own Malaysian rainforest yet ended up in a rainforest in Australia. Anyway, it was a very short walk.

On the way to Twelve Apostles.

The highlight of the whole trip.

Here we are!

It’s so hard to get a proper photo. Too many people! What to do? It’s a tourist spot. If you don’t come here, the trip to Melbourne will not be considered complete.

There’s only 8 left if not mistaken as the others had collapsed.

Next, we went to somewhere nearby. I don’t remember the name of the place but the view was awesome too. This is where the London Arch also known as London Bridge is.

Left: Island Archway.

Right: The London Arch. Apparently, it fell and there’s interesting story about the incident too. Was told that when it collapsed, it left a couple stranded on the wrong side. A channel 7 helicopter was despatched because no other rescue helicopter was available that time to rescue them but they both ducked avoiding the camera, they were not excited to be rescued and did not wnat to be interviewed. Why? They cheated in their relationship! They went on a supposed to be secret vacation but ended up became the news of the day. That’s what you called KARMA! Well, the story isn’t verified but it’s an urban myth. Not matter what, don’t ever try to cheat. One day, the cover will be blown.

Left: The other side of the view of the London Arc.
Right: The famous eagle statue in Melbourne.

That’s the end of Day 3 of your Melbourne trip.

Third day in Melbourne, it was the main purpose we’re here.

Booked a Great Ocean Road Day Tour for AUD89/person. It’s a 12 hour plus tour.

Nothing much but just stopping in various locations for photos opportunties.

Sharing some photos taken on the road and also at the pit stops.

Very nice sceneries. The Great Ocean Road, I’ve been hearing about it many many times but never got the chance to go for such road trip until now.

One of the stops, for toilet break and also to spot some koalas and feed some birds. Spot the big one?!? HAHAHA!

Left: Koala sleeping, all they did is eat and sleep.
Right: The place where we had to gather to get on the bus again.

After the stop, we headed to lunch at Iluka Motel and Restaurant. We were given a list in the bus to tick our food preference. There’s 5 of us so we choosed 5 different dishes to try. This one is lamb in pita wrap.

Fish and chips, and chicken.

Rice and pasta for the vegetarians, and chicken schnitzel. The food was not bad, better than expected.

The tour package came with lunch. There’s another package with BBQ lunch but I opted for this.

After lunch, we continued with our journey.

Left: Flinders Train Station.
Right: After the bus ride, we headed to Chinatown for lunch.

The arc of Chinatown, how can you miss it?

After a walk down the street, we ended up at The Crane Restaurant. My first time ordering food using iPad ;p In fact it’s nothing new just that I never patron such restaurants *LOL*

Left: Fish fillet in hot and sour soup (AUD8), very big, have to share this.
Right: Don’t remember what’s this. It’s eggplant and green beans with rice.

Left: Mixed mushroom rice in soup in stone clay pot (AUD10.80). Have to share this too.

Overall, the food portion was rather big and price was reasonable. Food tasted not so bad too. Many choices to choose from that gave us headache on what to order.

Left: The state library, very nice architecture.

Right: After lunch, we took the free tram to Harbour Town.

Harbour Town, thought of buying some clothes there but nothing to buy -.-” Couldn’t find what I want.

This was our final destination of the day. Day 3 coming up…

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
