My travelogue.

Very Very Random

Posted on July 18, 2008July 20, 2008 By sweet surrender 13 Comments on Very Very Random

Very late update today because I’m lazy and busy at the same time.

1. Life is always full with unexpected twists. If we think that we are very unlucky, there are actually more that are worst than us out there. All we can do is to try our best to stay positive and be strong, get help if you need to, share with trusted friend if you can and things happen for a reason. It’s easier said than done. No matter what, we can only hope for the best and hope that the worst will be over soon.

2. Sent my camera to Empress, waiting for feedback. I just realised I forgot to ask whether they will charge me for inspecting the damage of the camera. -.-”

3. OH DEAR! Where should I stay in Penang?!?! Really need help, no guesthouse or lodge please unless they offer personal bathroom, saw many photos of those places on the net and the common bathrooms and toilets really made me lost appetite! YMCA or Eden Fairway Apartment, Batu Feringgi? Which one is more strategic and convenient? Or any place near Georgetown that charges less than RM150/night. Anyone has private apartment there to offer that can rent to me and my 3 friends? 😛

4. Exam coming soon… Scary… Don’t know what to expect.

5. Time flies like no body business… It’s almost August and felt like many things aren’t done yet.

6. There’s some personal problems that I still can’t find a good way to solve, it’s been like this for almost 4 years, sigh… I don’t think of it most of the time but when I do, it really causes me huge headache and emotional distress.

7. If you want to sue a blogger, you can directly contact them tru’ their blog! Why do you want to spend so much time and money to go a big round?!?! You thought we will give you any detail? No way! Even with legal letter, in your dream! Even we are to give you, there is no guarnatee that the details are 100% accurate. STUPID!! Such simple thing also don’t know, how to sue people?

Darn… That’s all for this very random post, seems like there’s nothing happy about it, it’s all rant, rant, rant.

Damai Puri Resort & Spa From The Outside

Posted on March 11, 2008March 11, 2008 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Damai Puri Resort & Spa From The Outside

It seems like some people are getting arrogant calling whoever that supports the BN as brainless citizens, blind or whatever shit! I got a lots of that! You don’t have to attack people like this! Everyone has their own reason for supporting certain party, no one is right, no one is wrong, it’s your own choice. GROW UP! FUCK IT OFF! The election is over, you don’t have to go around calling people names, insulting people or make sarcastic remarks! DAMN IT! You better go out there and help your winning party to serve the people instead of working with your mouth! Seriously, they really need your help, voting for them only is not enough!

Before reaching Permai Rainforest Resort, you will pass by Damai Puri Resort & Spa. It was the previous Damai Lagoon. It had underwent whole lots of renovations and manage by new management. It’s better than previously, of course much more expensive too. I’ve never even stay at Damai Lagoon, don’t even say I will stay in this. Hahaha… I cannot afford it… With such kind of money spent staying here, I might as well use this money to buy some air tickets to visit places out of Kuching with nicer beaches. Sorry… I don’t think Kuching beaches are nice. They are boring…

Anyway, it’s not fully completed, there are still some areas that need to be completed. Saw many people playing at the swimming pools.

More view of the resort. All these are the views from the beach. Both Permai Rainforest Resort and Damai Puri Resort & Spa share the same beach. If you can’t afford to stay here, you can stay at Permai Rainforest Resort.

If you think you can sneak into Damai Puri Resort & Spa from the beach, you are wrong! The security guards are everywhere. They will ensure that you won’t be able to go in.

So that’s all about our trips. Will be sharing some photos that were taken from Allen’s camera tomorrow.

Last Minute Trip To Permai Rainforest Resort

Posted on March 10, 2008March 11, 2008 By sweet surrender 12 Comments on Last Minute Trip To Permai Rainforest Resort

I was bored, I called up Allen and Jimmy to ask whether they want to go to the beach or not since our initial plan to Siniawan was cancelled. Called up other friends as well but they weren’t free. That left the 3 of us.

We started our journey at about 2.30pm. This photo was taken from the Santubong Bridge. It looks as if Mount Santubong was erupting! Hahaha…

Closer view of Mount Santubong. We went to Permai Rainforest Resort. The last time I went there was 2005 or 2006 if not mistaken. I’ve not been to the beach for more than a year. For the record I didn’t go to any beach last year except the one at Miri but that didn’t really count as a beach.

You will pass by Cultural Village before going to Permai Rainforest Resort.

WHAT THE ****! The price increased! I remember last time I went was RM2.50 or RM3, now it’s RM5!!! Such steep increment! Since we’re there already, there’s no way to turn back. RM5 is expensive! RM3.50 I can accept but RM5!??! *Sigh* If not mistaken, children below 12 wasn’t charged at all but now…

Bought our tickets, went in… The flag was yellow, it means you have to take extra precaution. The wave was indeed quite big that day.

If you like to play some water sports, you can rent the equipments here. Snorkeling?!?! Hahaha… What you can see at this beach!??!? If it’s Redang or Phuket I can understand, but here? Snorkeling? Hahaha…

Left: The kayaks for rent.
Right: Many couples there… *Sigh* Seeing them make me feel a bit down… I need some tender loving care from you too… 🙁 I didn’t play in the sea water for years already… I don’t like it because it’s sandy and salty, very hard to wash those sand off. The most I did was dipping my feet in the water, that’s all. If there are friends that ask me to join them playing and I’m the in mood, I will play. However, most of the time I’ll reject. What’s more after what had happened few years back.

The waves. These are small ones… Didn’t take bigger ones.

We were here… Hehehe… Written on the sand… KUCHINGBLOGGERS, written by Jimmy. I drew the cat 😛 Allen took my photos *LOL* No group photos though… We quickly left when the cloud was getting heavier. Guess what?!!? When we went into the car, rain started to pour!! Phew…

Day 6: Goodbye KL

Posted on January 27, 2008January 28, 2008 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Day 6: Goodbye KL

FINALLY! I know some of you will be very happy that I finally ended this post hahaha… We thought of going to KLCC or Sungai Wang on the last day but due to some unforeseen circumstances, we went straight to KL Sentral using monorail all the way of course. Had to drag the 10KG+ of luggage all the way there. -.-“

Had our brunch at McD. Then went around KL Sentral to shop a bit.

On the way to LCCT. RM9 per way, pay when you alight the bus at LCCT.

Some views taken from the Skybus.

Sepang F1 Circuit.

Reached LCCT, first thing we did was to find a place to online. The only place to online is McD. Only two power outlets available -.-” We had to grab the seat as fast as possible.

Had our dinner at Asian Kitchen. Saw many people eating nasi lemak, so we decided to order one, RM5.50. Not nice…

Time to go back… We thought of taking photos of sunset on the Plane but we sat at the wrong side! :p So…No sunset photos…

Finally, this is the end of my Genting-KL trip report. Will go back to my usual blogging hahaha…

Day 5(13.01.08) – The Curve

Posted on January 26, 2008January 26, 2008 By sweet surrender 11 Comments on Day 5(13.01.08) – The Curve

OH NO! He’s not my boyfriend! He’s my ji-mui. I’m not paktoh-ing with him. Don’t think too much you people… I have someone else in my heart. My taste and requirement are not that *whatever you want to put here*. Hahaha…

After we had dinner at Genki Sushi, we went to the Curve. Actually you can walk there according to our friend but hahaha… No one wants to walk, better drive there. There were tonnes of parking available there.

The Curve is divided into The Walk and The Street. The walk is the indoor.

The Street is outdoor with many stall setups just like a flea market. You can get quite cheap stuffs there. The indoor shops would be more expensive hahaha… Of course… DUH~ However, I didn’t really see what they are selling, no mood to see anything, so tired. Besides, done shopping already so just visit it for the sake of visiting hahaha…

There are also eateries at the two sides of The Walk.

Then we went over to Tesco. After that, off we our friend sent us to hotel. Good thing he sent us to the hotel, if he dropped us at the Kelana Jaya station then I tell you… I might not be able to go back to the hotel in one piece *LOL* So dead tired!

Day 6 will be the last day. One more post to go and that’s it! I know some of you are complaining already 😛 I still have many Kuching stuffs that need to be updated such as fashion show, birthday party and food! Just done baking a type of cookie just now…

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
