Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017

I just got back from a short Singapore and Batam getaway. Not counting down in Singapore, I’m not into such activity. I think I might be asleep already by the time the clock strikes 12 *LOL*

This video is fresh out of the oven, taken few hours ago when I was on my way back to Kuching from Singapore. Looked out of the window and saw the logo of MH. Kite is meant to fly, the “wau” on the tip of the wing sure is flying in the sky. I just couldn’t help it and quickly took video of it. In fact we’re almost descending when I realized how amazing and meaningful the view was.

The first minute of the video is just the wing of the plane, after that I took some bird eye views of our beloved land, Sarawak. All these while, I only took photo, this is my first time taking a video of it. Maybe, I should go get a wing too. Maybe…

2017 might not be a good year in terms of economic situation, seeing the “wau” soaring high, hopefully things will take a better turn in a way, there’s always a silver lining. May the new year brings new hope to you.

Damn! So much dramas, so much politics, so much balls carrying… Such bitch…

I’ll be away for a work trip soon. Been busy with all the arrangements. Just a quick update.

Was away at Batang Ai 2 weekends ago. Then back with this silly request which we all know it’s not a simple request. There’s some hidden agendas behind it. Who doesn’t know?!?! I’m lucky to have people helping me to pull through it albeit facing many challenges. It is going to be hell this week… Wish me luck!

Busy busy days ahead. Was in Shanghai and Nanjing last week for work. Now that I’m back, there is so much to catch up.

Happy Monkey Year 2016

Happy Monkey Year! It’s a wet Chinese New Year this year. It rained since the eve until today. It stopped for now but doubt it will last. Few places around Kuching suffered from flood since yesterday.

Last year, it’s a working CNY first day for me. This year, no more. Gonna enjoy my long holiday. I’m on holiday for a week plus already. I still need more. Hopefully a break for at least 3 months. Hmm… We’ll see… Need a serious break, exhausted.

It’s a quiet CNY this year. No hoo-haa. Just relax at home. There won’t be much visiting also.

Let’s hope the year of the fire monkey will be a good year for me. Few days before CNY, I was lucky enough to win a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2S. Hopefully the good luck will continue on.

Gonna just keep it short. Wishing all my reader a very Happy Chinese New Year and Gong Xi Fa Cai! May the year brings you abundance of good tidings.

Happy 2016

That’s the end of 2015… A year gone by peacefully for me, thankful for that! I hope it will be the same in 2016 and better things to come not only for me but you too!

I didn’t travel to any overseas destination this year. By right, I should! Then again, not in the mood for it with the currency getting so much weaker. In fact, no idea where to go also. There’s no urge for it. Maybe this year… Maybe should go back to Adelaide for a visit hmmm… Or Go back to Busan for a visit too. Well… Don’t know yet. We’ll see where life takes me to.

I don’t do any resolutions as usual. Just went with the flow all these while. Maybe I need to rediscover myself like what I did 5 years back. It’s not that easy to do now due to some unforeseen circumstances. Then again… We’ll see…

What is there for me in 2016? Where should I be heading? Plans are some what planned, just need the correct timing to execute. This year for sure.

Left: 2016 Starbucks Planner, way too pretty to use. It says… Make Everything Bright, let’s make everything bright this year! Every page is different. However, no discount vouchers in it this time around, hmm…

Right: I think I have no fate with table calendar. Here’s the story:

Before Christmas, I managed to ask for some table calendars from a business associate. I kept one for myself in the drawer and gave the others out to colleagues. Two days before Christmas, I decided to take it out to have a look because it’s different from the usual table calendar. After inspecting it, I placed it in a box (supposed to be in the drawer). Before I knocked off, I saw there’s one in the box and decided to give it to another colleague of mine. All these while thinking that I have mine in the drawer.

On Christmas’ Eve, went for last minute Christmas gift shopping for a last minute event on Christmas Day. Saw many cute table calendars, so I bought one from Kaison at Viva City for gift exchange thinking that it will be very useful for working adults. Didn’t know that MPH was there too. Saw its colouring calendar and thought to myself, “Damn… If I knew MPH is here, I should just come here to buy this as gift”. I took a look at it and put it back because I’ve bought one already and I didn’t need one as I had one in the drawer.

After Christmas, went back to work. Wanted to check some 2016 dates and I couldn’t find it! Then I realized, I became a Santa before going off for Christmas holiday! I gave it away! How silly! *LOL* Oh well… Maybe it’s not meant to be.

Now here it is, I went online and look for printable ones to stick to my 2015 table calendar thinking of just recycling the old base, stick the black and white printouts on it. So I did… Guess what?!? I ended up colouring it yesterday after sitting there whole day trying to crack my head on plans for this year. Trying to get some inspirations out of it by colouring it with whatever stationery I found around the office. Almost coloured everything! *LOL*

There you go… My table calendar story to end the year and to start the year.
