The line is back on 12am+ today. Tonnes of work need to be done 🙁

On the 28th of July, before going to Alvin Leong Photography bridal fashion show, we decided to had dinner at Kuching Festival since it’s still early summore we couldn’t think of where should we have our dinner. For the sake of blogging hehehe… We went there to cover the food fair but due to Streamyx down time. I could only post it now. *SIGH*

It was the first day of the food fair. We only managed to visit the food stalls as we were running out of time.

As usual, food stalls… Food, food, food…

Left: We briefly visited the Garden Show. It’s a bit different compare to last year and the walking path is quite narrow.

Left: Chicken rice(RM3.50), not worth.
Right: Forgot what this is called. Chicken Popiah(RM3)? So-so only…

Left: “Chu chang fen” with sweet sauce, I don’t know what it’s called in English, RM3 or RM3.50, forget already. Not so bad but a bit dry because it’s not your usual “chu chang fen” that serves with slightly a bit of soup or sometimes they were fully soak in the soup.
Right: I have no idea what this is called. Hahaha… It cost us RM3. It’s a type noodle. Don’t know how to explain. In mandarin is “gan fen”(if not mistaken).

We left before it rained! Phew… I heard that the rain was very heavy but that time we were at Permata Carpark for the fashion show already.

Circle Of Amour – Part 3

Sigh… Internet down since 12am+ until now it’s still not working 🙁

Warning: Long post and bandwidth sucker ahead with lots of pretty girls’ photosss…

The most awaited fashion show is here! We were there at around 7pm yesterday. There were so many photgraphers on stand-by already. WOW! Everyone were using huge DSLR, I was feeling so out of place with my very compact digital camera -.-” I wanted to take the front seats and I asked Allen to lead the way since he has a DSLR with him hahaha…

The models were quite pretty unlike some other fashion shows that I attended before. Enjoy the photos hehehe… I didn’t use flash to take the photos because the flashes from the DSLRs were enough to brighten my shoots 😛 However, some were blur, most turned out good. 🙂

Almost all of the shoots of this model turned out sharp and clear because she took time to stop and pose.

This one was a bit fast but towards the evening gown part, she was too fast and the photos turned out blurred. She’s the one in blue evening gown.

This model was quite fast. She kept moving and I was having hard time to get clear and sharp shoots of her.

These two were quite fast also.

Left two: She’s didn’t stand still long enough.
Right: She was OK, she took time to pose.

All three evening gowns pictures turned out blurred. They were too fast -.”

These were OK except the model on the left. She is always too fast.

These shoots were quite clear except the last one, she turned too fast. *LOL* She’s always too fast hahaha…

I like the first model. 🙂 Always slow and steady. The rest were quite fast. Hahaha… How many time I’m using the word “fast” in this post?

Group photos of after the fashion show. You know? Those with DSLRs are more considerate compare to some people with no DSLRs. Like the aunty the other day and some other people.

At the end of the show, everyone went up as close as possible to take photos of the models and Alvin’s team. Everyone is civilised enough to make way for each other to take photos and even one guy kindly let me took his place so that I could take a shoot and asked me whether I manage to take any shoot. I did! That’s the photo on the right. Hehehe… I like this shoot. Well… I cropped it, the original one is nicer. Others even apologized to me when they realised that they blocked my view hehehe… Of course, I also tried my best not to block them haha… Ah well… I’m so small 😛 I don’t take too much of space, so it’s OK *LOL*

I always avoid this kind of tag because I never understand the whole process of it. Done it once and I simply did it and not even know it’s correct or not. That’s why I didn’t take part in the previous tagging, what was it called again? The one that list all the Malaysia blogs one.

Circle Of Amour – Part 2

Goshh.. What kind of bad luck is this? This month is really a month with full of bad lucks! The other time when I was busy getting a preject done, our server got suspended. Then now, I’m still busy, my laptop is having problem! GOSH!! I need to reformat everything, such a waste of time again… I have so many things that still need to do! Good thing, my files are not gone phew…

Went to Circle Of Amour yesterday. At 3pm, there was a contest by Maison Monica, Snow Queen contest where the students were required to do make up on their models. The theme was Snow Queen. After 3 hours+ of makeup, finally they were done and it’s time for them to parade on the stage and to be judged by the panel of judges.

Here are the models, they were not professional models, so some of them were quite shy. Many photos turned out really bad because they were too fast -.-” Some of the models are missing in these photos because they were too fast and all I got were blurry shoots. Sigh… They kept posing to the other side but not to the judges side(we were standing at the judges side)… DUH~ Who will be judging you? It’s the judges, not the audiences! Why so duh~?

While I was shooting the photos halfway… This aunty squeezed her way to the front and blocked my view! *&*&^%&!##%$ She knew I was busy shooting there and still stand right in front of me to take photos. Ended up, I took her head instead of the model. We were not supposed to go beyong the line that was “drawn” by the organizer but she just pushed herself over the the border. SUCKS! There were so many huge ass DSLRs around *SHAME* I was with my very compact camera. That’s the beauty of having DSLR when you are covering event like this. No one will go right in front of you and block your view like that aunty!

Before the results were announced, there were performance by Sarawak Wushu. I have no idea who won as my camera battery died when they announced the 3rd prize winner.

See what I got? *LOL* A lot right? Samples, brochures, postcards, vouchers…

Will be going to the fashion show tonight. I wonder can I get a nice spot or not *SIGH* With such small camera no one will take you seriously SUCKS!

Circle Of Amour – Part 1

If your comments are missing, I’m sorry. This is because I was in the process of moving my server yesterday and today.

Circle Of Amour, another bridal fair in Kuching. Today is the first day and I went there in the afternoon. It will last for 3 days at Permata Carpark. I registered online few weeks ago and hehehe… I got the guide book for free. It’s only free to the first 200 visitors.

The bridal fair is different from what you always see. Summore there are quite a number of West Malaysia bridal houses joining. Kid Chan was there! He’s giving talk about photography today at 7.30pm. Of course, our very own Alvin Leong was there too. There will be a fashion show by Alvin Leong tomorrow night at 7.30pm.

Left: The guide book. You can buy it on the spot for RM10 if you can’t manage to get it free. I’ve glanced tru’ it and it’s really useful. Haven’t have time to read it yet. Hahaha.. Maybe tomorrow.
Right: Everyone that registers themselves will be given a tote bag with cookies, sanitary pad samples and a voucher in it. It’s so useful as you will be getting tonnes of brochures and some samples from the exhibiting booths.
