It’s time for chocolate post again… *LOL* This time is not from Hotel Chocolat, this is bought from Ireland.

Talking about Guinness, you will think alcohol right? They have chocolate too with only 0.01% of Guinness in there. It is produced by The Irish Chocolate Company.

This dark chocolate is quite sweet compare to those from Hotel Chocolat.

Karl’s Thoughts & Inspiration

Posted on August 26, 2007August 26, 2007 By sweet surrender No Comments on Karl’s Thoughts & Inspiration

See this guy over here? Do you know who is he? He’s a writer and entrepreneur, and officially one of the world’s top 100 developers. Not only that, he’s a CEO of US-based media group White Cliff, Karl Moore founded the WCCL Network, consisting of over 150 retail websites and 15,000 affiliates.

OK… OK… Girls… I know you are getting excited now, he’s quite good looking don’t you think? 😛 Well.. Not really for me *LOL* but some of my friends said that he’s cute.

Oh WOW! He’ s also the founder for VB Forums! I used to frequent this forum when I was still in college so that I could get my advance diploma project done. So… This is the guy behind it. Now then I know after visiting Karl Moore’s Blog.

His blog is updated daily and I found many interesting things in there. There’s one post about how to spell “definitely”. 😛 I used to spell it as “definately”. I do not make this mistake anymore since this year though. Then I stumbled upon Karl’s post about it and apparently I’m not the only making this mistake but many people around the world are making this mistake. Phew… Glad that I’m not the only one hahaha…

If you are seeking for inspiration, you should visit his blog. I hope you do get inspired by this cute and successful guy.

Stop drooling will you??!?! Just go to his blog and say hi to him.

Hong Kong Noodle House @ Padungan (2)

Posted on August 26, 2007August 26, 2007 By sweet surrender 3 Comments on Hong Kong Noodle House @ Padungan (2)

Went for dinner at Hong Kong Noodle House at Padungan last week. I always have trouble on making up my mind on what to order. For the first time I couldn’t come out with anything to order -.-” So the waitress took the other orders first and mine later. Then for the first time I forgot all about the chili paste, only realised it after I’m almost done eating. Too bad… The chili paste wasn’t crunchy… Not “fresh”…

Left: Teochew Porridge Set(RM4). The porridge is only plain porridge. Oh well… Don’t think will order it again, don’t know how to say. Hahaha…
Right: Shredded Pork and Chili-Sauce Noodle(RM3.50). The pork tasted like “bak po”(BBQ pork meat slice). The colour is scary… Not spicy at all. Thanks Adrian *LOL* I misquoted it to be rice hahaha… So blur until rice and noodle also got mixed up.

Left: Pork Porridge(RM3.50). It’s just pork porridge 😛
Middle: Fried Tomato Noodle(RM4). Don’t like it.
Right: Fried Pork Rib With Rice(RM5), at the end, I order this. There’s another one with the same name as this also, those who don’t know how to read Chinese will not have much idea what its’ all about as the name in English are the same. The one I ordered has the Chinese word that said champagne. Not bad, quite nice.

Kuching Aquarium

Posted on August 25, 2007August 25, 2007 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Kuching Aquarium

Did you know that Kuching has an aquarium? Hahaha… We do. It’s just behind Sarawak Museum. Nothing much actually. Just aquariums with fish and also you can see tortoise there too. I think there’s a crocodile there too, can’t remember 😛

The entrances.

Like I say, aquariums with various fish types.

Tortoise and fish.

What else I can say? It’s been there for decades! I remember when I was little my parents always brought me here to play.

Ting Noodle House

Posted on August 24, 2007August 24, 2007 By sweet surrender 7 Comments on Ting Noodle House

No idea where to go for lunch yesterday. So ended up at Ting Noodle House as we heard of many good feedback from people.

There were so many people that time. Almost full! You can see that the chef has recognition from Taiwan and some sort of nomination or award from an international organisation that deals with F&B. Impressive right?

I have no idea what to order. I always have difficulty ordering food at places that serve Chinese food.

Left: I ended up ordering this. I don’t know what it’s called in English, in Manadarin is “Cha Jiang Mien”(RM4.30). The vegetables are for you to mix with the noodle. The meat that you see inside the bowl is also for you to mix with the noodle as the noodle is plain. Hmm… Sorry… I don’t know bother about how many award or recognition they have on the wall, this one is really not my type, not to my liking. It took me quite some time to finish it. I didn’t enjoy it. Maybe there’re some ingredients that I don’t like in there but I don’t know what.

Right: Beef noodle(RM4.30) that is recommended by many people, according to them, the taste is quite authentic as of taiwan standard. I tried a bit of the brooth, hmmm… Like that lo~ it’s just beef noodle to me *LOL*

It could be that my tastebuds went seriously haywired yesterday. *SHRUG*

If you are wondering where this is, it’s at Ban Hock Road, same row as Mita Cake House.
