My first day in Adelaide, I went out to hunt for dinner, it was already 7pm but it was still so bright.
I ended up at Australia’s Pizza House not far down the street of where I’m staying.
Ordered a large Margherita pizza(AUD5.40), the cheapest I could find. Not too thick not too thin base with double cheese and herbs. It took me 4 meals(2 dinners, 1 breakfast, and 1 lunch) to finish it! ;p Each time 2 slices only and I’m full. I couldn’t believe I ate so little, I guess it was due to the tiredness the first 2 days.
Gonna try other type next time, the pizza there is quite reasonably priced. Can even last me for days, so it’s quite economical ;p
Chinatown is just a few streets down. You can find Asian food there. Most Asian cooking ingredient are also available.
Fresh food here is cheap. If you can cook, then you can keep on experimenting.
William, yeap.. has been going to Chinatown for few days continuously ;p Eating out is realy not an option to do everyday -.-” too expensive.
Hi I’m ur reader & I’m frm kch, I’m doin postgraduate too in unisa, wat course r u takin?
I had the Jan intake, hehe. All the best!
Hi Fred, wow! Cool! I’m taking graduate diploma in management. One year only. How about you? What are you taking?
Ha, I’m doing master of management, I think we gt some of the common subs..lol, anyway, welcome to adelaide, it kinda boring, but no doubt it’s a good place fr study, see ya in campus.
If u dun mind let’s add me in fb.:)
Fred, WOW! Hahaha… I might continue to master but see how first, complete this one year then decide again ;p You can add me in my Facebook, the link http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=523493364
I’m sure we have some subjects in common, I haven’t decide what to major in yet.
I think Adelaide won’t be really that boring, I like this kind hehehe…
wow the pizza looks good..!
oh..why didnt you just do the masters programme straight away?
Adelaide City is small but the metro area covers 100km North South and 25km West East. It is one of the cheapest capital city to live in Australia. Nowadays with a computer and networking, your clients cover the whole Australia and even oversea. Melbirne is a lot more vibrant and busy at night but more expensive to live. Perth is as quiet as Adelaide but has the hifhest living cost in Australia.
william, yeap… luckily I”m in Adelaide if not sure gonna spend a lot.
Pink Cotton, hehehe… Coz of one subject I fear the most, accounting! ;p Also, don’t have the budget yet to stay for 2 years, so just do graduate diploma first, if after that feel that can continue then need to study few more subjects that I didn’t choose in graduate diploma to continue to master lol now accounting is optional for me but when do master it’s a must to do.
Instead of going to these restaurants to take away pizzas, you would be able to find those local pizza takeaways which cost cheaper for more. Sometimes, you will be able to find vouchers for them as well especially on mailboxes. I got loads from Burger King, Dominoes, etc always…
Patrick, yes, I know. There’s always offer at Dominoes but it’s a bit far from my place and it’s still slightly more expensive than this place. Wait till I activate my uni club thing and get more discount from Dominoes ;p
