What A Day!

I would love to update a proper post but I don’t have such time to spare and I’m super duper tired now. Today is really a busy day. I know there are people that are even more busy than me but don’t compare them to me *LOL* Let’s see what’s happening today:

9.15am, went to get my result at the college and paid the fee. Thought it would be fast but it took quite a while.

10am+, reached Toys’R’Us at Hills Shopping Mall, I was late, I missed the ribbon cutting part all because of the earlier delayed. The refreshment was great! Applied for the membership card too, It’s free anyway, why not?

11am+, rushed over to Level Up Fitness to say hi to the bloggers in Project Alpha. They were having their filming in Kuching. Finally met sixthseal after so many years. We never got the chance to meet few years back until now. He still remembers me hahaha… He was the one who contacted me last time regarding a blog post of mine. Hmm… About 5 years back? Then not long after that we lost touch.

12pm+, rushed home, had lunch and touched up my make up.

1pm, went to tHe Spring to manage the anime collage competition. Ended up becoming the MC for the event. I did it in Mandarin. My Mandarin sucks big time, I’ve never host or MC a formal event in Mandarin before so you can imagine my usage of words and how I got stuck here and there ;p So much of being Chinese educated for 8 years(2 year in kindergarten, 6 in primary school) and then took up the subject in secondary school until form 5. Even reading from the script also posed some problems *LOL*

4.30pm+, went back to Hill Shopping Mall for MOB. Stay there till 8pm+. I actually got a chance to play with the instruments! WEE! Haven’t play drum or hold or drumstick for ages! My left arm is sore! Funny thing is that I used my right arm more. Thought to stay till 9 something but couldn’t stand it anymore. I got quite disoriented already even without the alcohol! I forgot to switch on my headlights when I drove home. Only realized it when I almost reached home!

Tonnes of photos! Tonnes to blog! Calling it a day for now. Really cannot admit that I’m still young *LOL*

Busy Day Tomorrow

I’m thinking of posting about my KL trip but got no time to do it, I should be going to sleep soon. Will have an early start tomorrow.

Line was pretty bad these days and finally someone came over to help me fixed it. Hopefully it will last and not temporary. Complain till tired.

My day time schedule will be full to the brim tomorrow. There will not be any break in between, it’s going to be one after another from one place to another. Good thing that those are fun things to do. I really don’t understand why there are so many events going on tomorrow. Seems like a very good day to have events eh?

I should call it a night for now. Must really go to bed. Good night for now!

New Fake Lashes

ARG! Just to update a simple post like this took me ages! Uploading a photo less than 60KB took me about one hour just to get it successfully uploaded.


I said that I would not be investing in fake lashes in near future but I ended up buying one few weeks ago hehehe… Only RM10 per box for 10 pairs of fake lashes. I bought it from Alysha.


Here you go… The effect of the fake lashes, this is the second time I’m using it. It can be reused many times as long that you handle it gently. However, this first pair of mine seemed out of shape already because I handled it pretty roughly. I’m hopeless in handling very delicate stuff hahaha… Since it’s so affordable, I don’t feel that bad hahaha…

Oh… Bought a new eyeliner too but still trying to apply it properly, you can see in the photo. Will review about it some other time.

Just a quick update here 😉 One more hour before I close the contest of Ministry of Beats Vol. 1 Tickets Giveaway!


Invited by Shiok.org to the Lounge @ Royal Oak at Hills Shopping Mall somewhere last week for food tasting and also pre-MOB gathering for the bloggers and photographers.


While waiting for the rest to come, I took some photos of the place. Happened that there was a procession that night and many got stuck in the jam.

I quite like the bar, it’s all made of of bottles of Heineken and then lighted up.

Cakes and cookies from Speaking Rose @ Royal Oak. Felt as if it’s Chinese New Year already! ;p They were all quite nice, not too sweet.

Left: Rib eye steak. Happened that I was craving for steak and red meat those few days and on that day so many of them in front of me! *salivating* I’ve never had my craving satisfied like this! I was having red meat continuously for days since I was in KL. You can imagine how unhealthy was my food intake that 2 weeks.

Burger King KL Sentral & 41 Berangan 6th January 2010

Once we reached KL Sentral, we had lunch there. At first, wanted to go for Burger King but my dad was a bit turn off by the price even though he was thinking to have it as the last time he had it was in Singapore. So we went to McD but the crowd was crazy! At the end, we went back to Burger King and ordered all the cheap and yummy stuffs ;p

We ordered 3 types of burgers. If I’m not mistaken, we had Whopper Jr.(this is the set, RM11.49), Rodeo Cheeseburger(RM4.95), and BK-something(RM4.95) ;p I like the fries!

After our lunch, we looked for a taxi. One taxi driver tried to charge us RM26 to 41 Berangan! WTF! Luckily I’m given the guidelines by people from 41 Berangan that it will cost about RM12+ for taxi from KL Sentral. Found one that charged RM16, oh well… We went for it.

Left: 41 Berangan, I found them online when I did a search. If not mistaken, I found them tru’ one of the pages of Air Asia and then did a search on them via search engine.

Right: One of the rooms that was outside, it’s actually a container but this is not the room we’re staying. We stayed at the upper floor.


The dining area and you could also watch DVD here. Not only that, you’re allowed to take the DVDs to the room to watch. The rate was inclusive of breakfast. The breakfast was basically coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter, and jam.


I highly recommend this place. It’s better to stay here rather than staying at 3-star hotels. The place was clean, the people there was friendly and helpful, there was free Internet(luckily for that as we were required to settle some work stuffs that was quite urgent and I didn’t bring my laptop), the sheet, the bed, the pillow were really surprisingly comfortable.

The view you see here is the second floor view that greeted us every time we opened the door ;p I forgot to take photo of our room’s door hahaha…

Since we were supposed to go in 4, I was hunting around for a place that could accommodate 4 in a room with attached bathroom but mostly I found were 3 in a room. Finally found 41 Berangan that’s located at Jalan Berangan. After looking at the location and the photos in the website. I took the risk, trust my guts and made a reservation somewhere in July 2009 to secure the room as there’s only one such kind of room available. We paid RM200/night for deluxe room. It’s not expensive, if you go in 4, one person only RM50. You’ll get 2 queen beds.


The best part for me was the bed, you know why? I always have difficulty sleeping in hotels especially on the first night because of the bed, the sheet, the pillows. What to do? Cannot afford hotel with more stars *LOL*

Here, I got no problem sleeping at all. The sleeping experience was similar to Glenmarie Holiday Inn that I stayed last time except for the air-con. Hotel’s air-con is damn cold as it’s centralized but here you get to control it yourself. They’re using the good quality sheet. Love that!


For our room, it was really spacious, ceiling was high, there were TV, DVD player, kettle, air-con, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, mugs, attached bathroom and toilet, and towels were provided. The bathroom and toilet wasn’t in one space, its separated, so it’s good, you will not need to wait for your turn to do “stuffs”.


Left: The veranda. If you smoke, you can smoke here but not in the room. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside.

Right: The view from the veranda. To the left there’s a junction, to the right you’ll head to Bukit Bintang, it’s so near! Just walk to the right, walk, walk, walk, you’ll see Hotel Fortuna on your right, then reach the junction, turn right. You will see the monorail station, Lot 10, Sungei Wang and more! That will be Bukit Bintang!

However, we got lost, we went to the wrong direction, we went left, left, left… That… I’ll tell you more in the next post.

Just one down side of this place, the road was quite quiet at night. So if you are walking alone, it’s quite scary. If you’re there with more people then at least won’t be that bad. I’ll come back to stay again if I go to KL again provided I’m not traveling alone hahaha…
