New House, Fireworks & Wine

Yesterday, we went to my dad’s friend’s new house for CNY open house. The house is a semi-d that costs more than RM900,000 (including the furnishing) somewhere in Kuching.

Not going to let you know where of course, here’s a photo I managed to take of the compound. The food that we had. Dared not to take pictures of the whole table of food though.


These are the red wines they served and I managed to drank them or rather just 2 sips each hahaha… Normally I will not want to even take a sip, just smelling the alcohol is enough to turn me off but I was so in very bad mood. Because of that they didn’t smell that bad at all. My advise is stay away from alcohol when you are in very mad mood or stress. For the first time of my life I touched so many types of alcohols, 2 types of red wine, very strong kacangma, and a tin of Shandy(HAHAHA! Does this even count?).

Here’s the differences of the two red wines, I’m no wine expert, I’m just describing them based on what I saw, smelt and tasted:
Left: The colour is darker compare to the one on the right, it tasted sweet with some tinge of sourness.
Right: The colour is lighter, it tasted more sourish and bitter than sweet.
As for both smell, I don’t remember which one is stronger ;p

Later in the night, there were fireworks “competition” in the neighbourhood. Managed to capture them but I don’t like the outcome because there were too many types and very messy. Just see the photos and you know what I mean.



At least for the first time I managed to capture purple fireworks.

Lastly… My not-so-nice-not-so-good-mood photos… No natural light to take at all because it’s dark already. With flash and no flash. I have to crop my forehead because the hair up there was so unruly.

Again… Bad mood… Forced myself to smile. Crazy! Hahaha… Bad mood also still got mood to camwhore. I know I’m going nuts already!

By the way, do you know that I’m naked in these photos? *LOL*Believe it! Because I wasn’t! Kick you… Think so much!

Just Some Imported Snacks

You see… I have nothing to update 🙁 So going to show you some snacks that I had last year end bought from Ta Kiong, tHe Spring and Sibu.


Bought this just to let the bill reach RM50 so that my dad could pay using credit card ;p Quite nice, a bit too salty but still nice. Just drink plenty of water.


My aunt bought this during her Sibu trip. I didn’t expect my dad will like it. *LOL* It’s rare that he likes to eat this kind of thing. Great for the ichty mouth looking for something to munch.


Bought this when I went shopping for junk food last year. I just grabbed it because it’s cheap and reminded me of the corn snack that I had when I was still a little girl last time. Used to buy it at the school canteen and nearby grocery shop. I bought two types, one is seaweed(the one you see here) and the other one is cream corn(no photo).

I Need Help With My Wireless Router

The light is gone again. Most likely is hardware malfunction. Sien…

Update 9.46pm:
The WLAN light came back after switching the power supply on and off because of no connection but the network is back to default. Sigh… Don’t know what’s wrong really… Basically when it’s secured, the WLAN will gone, no wireless to use but when it’s unsecured the light will come back on, there’s wireless to use. I can access the setting page also now. WHY is it like this? I dare not to set it secure again for fear of the light went missing again. In other words, my network is unsecure now! OH NO!!!

🙁 It’s crazy!! Really crazy! I don’t know what happen. Even reseted the router but nothing can work.

Here’s how the story goes:
My wireless network has been secured all these while. Suddenly lately it kept reseted itself to “default” once in every few days. Everytime I have to resecure it.

Starting last night, the “WLAN” light isn’t on anymore. No matter how many time I restarted, it won’t come back. Usually it would come back after switching off the power supply. I switched to using the cable and Internet is working fine but no wireless.

Then, this morning, I was so happy to see the “WLAN” light was back on. I could detect the wireless signal and could browse with no problem but the thing was that it’s reseted to “default” again. So I went into the router to secure it and restart it. All hell broke lose after that, the “WLAN” light was gone!! Never came back!

So, I’m using the cable again now.

I tried to go into the router again and guess what!?!? It gave me message saying that there’s no such page. I can’t even go in! I reseted the router again hoping that I can access the page to check the router but to no avail.

Then I reseted both ADSL and wireless router, nothing also. Still greeted with the same problem. ADSL router is fine but not wireless router.

My wireless is screwed!!! HELP ME 🙁 What is wrong? What can I do? Anyone knows why is this happening? I tried to look for answer in the Internet but nothing related came out. An IT graduate got stucked with her own hardware, how stupid can that be?!?!

HELP ME! I’m getting enough with those non sense that come greeted me in 2009. I’m very very sick with them already and now this again! Please… Don’t give me more problem 🙁 I’m afraid that I will breakdown soon!

By the way, the wireless router model is D-Link Dl-624+

Me In Love?

Aiyoo… Kuching very quiet these days sigh… Nothing interesting happening around.

This post is composed in conjunction of the coming Valentine’s Day. A bit early?

In the previous post, someone said that I’m in love. Hehehe… If you say I am then I am, if you think I’m not then I’m not ;p If you do notice, sometimes I did slip in some messages inside my post or even in Twitter. Anyway, I notice that many people got themselves attached this year, this Valentine’s Day will sure be exiciting. This year’s will make a lot of difference to me because I’ll be lonelier because those that I used to spend my Valentine’s with all these years are now attached. Such a pity.

Whether I’m attached or not, when the time comes you will know. However, I don’t think you will see that special someone’s face in my blog but you will surely read about him.

You know, next year Chinese New Year falls on the same day as Valentine’s Day. I did mention that I might want to travel during Chinese New year, I guess next year would be a really great year to do so especially if I can do it with my someone or just spend time together, don’t have to go anywhere. *HINT HINT HINT* See! I hint so hard!! *LOL* Hopefully there will be major progress by then.

It’s time for me to plan my own life. Do things my own way. It’s not easy after so many years of relying on other people for almost everything.

As a start, I’m planning to go to Singapore on my own somewhere this year unless some other people would like to tag along but not easy to plan with other people as others have their own schedule, usually it will clash.

All I need to do is get my passport renew and whenever any offer comes, I’ll just grab it. Of course, it will have to be when I’m having my semester break(I have the academic calender to plan my holiday) and not during the time I’m having my period! Period will kill everything!

Seeing the offer of MAS, RM99 only, I wish I can book it but my passport expired already. Need to find time to renew it but I’m lazy. ARG! Lazybone ;p As long that it’s expired, I can’t book any.

Must renew, must renew!

Nothing to update… No event, no outing, no eating out… Sigh…
