Win Two Grand Prizes in Two Days!

Posted on February 24, 2009February 24, 2009 By sweet surrender 15 Comments on Win Two Grand Prizes in Two Days!

Just as I thought my year started so badly. Now, I got at least some happy things to share besides getting call and MSN from someone ;p I’m still stress and bad mood from time to time but once in a while some happy things come also not that bad.

This is the second time I’m winning prizes in a row! I remember this situation happened to me in August 2007.

Win something from My Privilege Book Spot & Win contest. I pasted it on Pajero instead of Kembara because I forgot my car number when I filled the form *LOL* If I’m not mistaken, it’s a holiday package. Hmm… Not so sure, we’ll see when I got the prize.

This… I got it this morning. SURPRISE! I didn’t expect I will get it. It’s very useful if I travel a lot this year but too bad… I’m not doing much travelling or any at all this year. So I’ll just use this at home. If only I got that amount in cash ;p Too bad, it’s a cheque for Celcom. Wondering what is this all about? It’s from here… Thanks everyone for voting for me.

There’s actually error in the mail, it’s under Petrol category hehehe… I later got the correction from the person in charge.

Now~ The problem is… Usually I will be sharing these prizes with somebody but this time no more sharing anymore because it’s not possible at all with the situation now. It’s kinda sad but nvm… At least I managed to win something rather than nothing. If only you are here, then I can share with you. 😉

Bencoolen Virgin Coconut Oil Hand and Body Lotion

Posted on February 23, 2009February 24, 2009 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Bencoolen Virgin Coconut Oil Hand and Body Lotion

I was introduced to Bencoolen products by one of the Ebayers last year. I thought it’s some imported products but after asking her some questions, I was told that it’s 100% Malaysian made. I mean, look at the packaging, it’s so “foreign” looking but it’s really 100% Malaysian made! She told me about the shower cream that contains no SLS that her mom introduced to her and she got hooked after using it.

Bencoolen Virgin Coconut Oil Hand and Body Lotion is meant for the hand and body. The tube is so small that I think you will run out of it in no time if you apply on your whole body. This small tube costs about RM20+ if not mistaken.

The smell of the product is delicious! I know it’s wrong to use this word but it smells like coconut cream that you can eat! Even the texture seems like something edible! Imagine the icing on the cake.

I tried it on my feet which is rather dry and the difference shows immediately. The surface of my feet with many fine wrinkles due to dryness actually diminished, it looked and feel so smooth. According to the website, it will restore skin moisture and maintain suppleness in all skin. Also helps in relieving itchiness and dryness resulting in a more youthful and healthy appearance.

It’s a bit oily in the beginning but after a while the oiliness will be gone and leave that faint sweet delicious smell behind.

It’s not available in many places though, only in some Jusco stores in West Malaysia. So those of you that got no access to these places, you can always get it online at their official website or from Ebay. Even though Ebay doesn’t have the whole range you can always contact her to get those products that you are interested or just go straight to the official website to buy. Just one problem, they only accept Paypal.

Not thinking of buying? Just go in and have a look. I’m sure you will be as surprise as I was that this is not some imported products.

Again, this is not paid. It’s a Christmas gift from her to me in Ebay Christmas gifts exchange program. Thanks Carol! It’s such great product! Rest assure that I will get something from Bencoolen one day since I’m not running out of anything for now.

Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover

Posted on February 22, 2009February 24, 2009 By sweet surrender 7 Comments on Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover

Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover is specially formulated for removing waterproof and long wear make-up.

I notice my skin is rather sensitive. If I’m using products that are not suitable, I will get small red patches here and there or sometimes resemble mosquito bites. However, usually it will go away in less than one hour. I usually encounter this problem after washing my face or remove make-up.

It happened that my previous Loreal make-up remover(the one in white bottle) left a bit only before CNY so decided to buy a new make-up remover coz afraid that I might run out of make-up remover during CNY.

I bought Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover after the sales assistant introduced me to this. In fact I didn’t think much, I’m open to any option so long that it’s not the same one as I was using.

This tube is RM20+ but I had the RM10 voucher from Parkson, so I only paid RM10 for it. There was also 10% discount.

Now, I use it every single time before I go shower to remove my make-up if I got make-up on because it’s so easy and not messy to use. The feeling when it’s on your face is so smooth and silky unlike the old one that I used which is very messy and I only used it when I did apply full make-up so it took ages to finish ;p Guess how long? If I’m not mistaken, 5-6 years. Hahaha…

However, for Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover, I use it every single time before shower to remove my make-up even when I have very light make-up on. Last time, I won’t bother, would only use eye make-up remover if I got eye make-up on.

I’m a lazy girl ;p I don’t really like to use eye make-up remover for the eyes that why I seldom apply make-up to my eyes and then another remover for the face. It will take up lots of time. So with Loreal De-maq Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-up Remover, it’s eye and face make-up remover in one! The lazy and small faced me just need a very small amount for the whole face including the eyes.

This one tube is 100ml and I estimate that it might take me about 2 years or so to finish it since I don’t use makeup everyday and the amount needed is so little. The best thing is that, I haven’t experience any itchiness after using it.

The lazy me also don’t like to remove the residue of the make-up remover with cotton pad especially when I’m thinking of the rubbing, pulling, tugging of the face skin, I’m not a very young teenage girl anymore, I’m in my late twenties(*HORROR* Time flies!! Now have to admit that I’m old hahaha…) so have to handle the skin gently. With this, I just go to shower and let the shower water wash it off then follow by the usual facial cleansing foam. Even just by washing off with water, you can feel that your skin is so smooth and clean! Just like what is stated on the tube, “Satin-soft Touch”.

You don’t have to use much force or energy when removing your make-up too, just very gently spread it and massage it on your face.

OK! OK! I’m not paid for writing this! If I am, how nice it would be.

Anyway, this is the best make-up remover I came across so far.

Spooky Stories from Me

Posted on February 20, 2009February 20, 2009 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Spooky Stories from Me

Warning: If you can’t take it, better don’t read. I’m not responsible if anything happens to you hahaha…

I really got nothing interesting to update lately and sorry for all the emo posts. Sigh…

Then, a thought hit me just now. Why don’t I share some spooky stories with you and you can also share yours with me by commenting, it would be interesting. It’s not Holloween, it’s not the 7th month of lunar calendar so it’s not so bad to share now after all ;p

I’m going to share two stories with you which I heard from my teacher in secondary school and also from my sister if not mistaken. It happened in the school. They are just stories, I don’t know how true they are. I guess it’s very common to hear spooky stories from schools. I’m sure you got a lot from your school too. I heard a lot from St. Joseph too. So here you go…

Story 1:
I heard this story from my sister(if I’m not mistaken, from the record I got from a forum I used to frequent and shared the stories there before) after I left the school.

There used to be a white-coloured statue of a student just next to the hall. I remember it was there when I first stepped into that school and I didn’t notice that it was demolished quite a long time ago. I always thought that it’s still there but my sister told me that it was demolished few years back even before she entered the school. In other words, it was demolished when I was still studying there but I didn’t notice. Pretty ignorance of me eh?

I was told that the reason that the statue was demolished because it could move!

Once a group of scouts was camping there during school holidays and at night a number of them suddenly saw the statue actually walked around the compound and then went back to the place where it’s supposed to be. After that, the school management decided to demolish that statue.

Story 2:
This was told by my BM teacher.

Our school had an archery field that was rented to SUKMA to train the atheletes. Now it’s an empty land because they have a place of their own to train. Nowadays, students always play football there.

Only during certain year, certain month, certain day, certain hour at midnight or wee hour (not so sure) a “Kampung” would appear at the field.

Those pass by will be able to see the houses, lights and the activities of the “kampung” people clearly. It will only appear for a while and then it’ll disappear. The “Kampung” was actually burnt down long long time ago before the school was built.

I have no idea how this story came out. Since the archery field is facing the main road, maybe people saw it before and that’s how the story started.

Anyway, that’s all. Two spooky stories for you but I don’t think they are spooky at all. In fact, it’s for my own record also as I almost forget all about them already.

Interesting
