Next up after G2000 fashion show, it was Ms. Read fashion show. As you know, Ms. Read specialized in selling clothing for plus size women. I was wondering how will the plus size models in Kuching would be like. I’m sure you are wondering about it also.

I was expecting plus size girls in their 20’s but they turned out to be aunties! Where were all the young plus size girls in Kuching? I know many plus size girls that are young and pretty but where are they for this fashion show? No offence… I just didn’t expect aunties to walk the runway. Something new to me.

Update: It seems like this post has hurt some of the models, all I can say is that I’m sorry for the choice of words and the way I expressed myself. Just like what was stated in the comment, I’m a small town girl, a small town girl has never seen the world. You ladies have in fact open up the world to small town people like us and seriously and sincerely, you ladies do look good in those outfits. That’s why I posted these photos to prove that the statements I made above were wrong else you think I will bother?

Star Chef, consider it a new place. Wanted to go since long time ago but no one wanted to go with me sigh…

Finally, went to have dinner with my friends on 1st May at Star Chef. Our initial plan was to have western food because Star Chef served western food but when we were there, they no longer have western food. They have new menu now and it got us all disappointed. It was so hard to make choices because of the price and the food type.

The location of the place is very easy to find. Just opposite Chung Hua Primary School No. 3. It’s along the main road. At night, this is the only place open and it’s the brightest shop among the row of shops.


The interior is brightly lit with bright colours.


The drinks, Local Coffee with Milk (RM1.70), Peppermint Tea(RM2) and Local Coffee ‘O’ with no sugar(RM1.70).

You will see why it’s hard to order the food and the price is really expensive. I should have replace the rice with fries, the rice is so little.

Left: Chicken meat (RM10), Japanese Teppanyaki Set with rice, vegetables and soup. The sauce for this was terriyaki sauce.
Right: Pork meat (RM10), Japanese Teppanyaki Set with rice, vegetables and soup. The sauce for this was black pepper sauce.


Left: Beef striploin(RM19.50), 200GM, Japanese Teppanyaki Set with rice, vegetables and soup. The sauce for this was black pepper sauce.

Basically you can choose to have terriyaki or black pepper sauce for your meat.

Right: The miso soup, so salty -.-”

So you see… With these food and price, I think charging RM10 is a bit too expensive. However the meat wasn’t too bad except the pork, very tough.

I heard they will be changing menu again maybe they will change it every few months. Currently they also have American breakfast.

Will I go back again? I don’t think so but maybe unless they change the menu again. I don’t like this menu.

Phew… Finally done all the photo editing. So many!! I’ll update about this event in parts. All together, there are 9 parts! WOW! So you will get to see 9 brands of fashions. In other words, it will take 9 days to finish this post. It’s a good thing too… If in case I run out of thing to post, I have this event to post instead of letting you read my emo posts ;p

Fashions from G2000.

I can’t seem to find anything that I like in G2000 because it’s for work. I don’t like to wear this kind clothes, it makes me looked old or in a much nicer word, mature. I just don’t feel comfortable wearing clothes like this, thank God I don’t work in an office that requires me to wear like this.


In fact, I was thinking to invest in a set of such clothes, even my mom asked me to do so too last time but I never buy any because when I saw myself in the fitting room mirror wearing like this, I just feel so weird and it’s so not me hahaha… Ended up, I didn’t buy anything.

I kinda envy those that can pull out these kind of clothes nicely and looked professional but too bad I just can’t, it just looked soooooooooooo WEIRD on me.

*LOL* It’s really mine wokay! I got it today from tHe Spring Spring & Summer Fashion Show 2009 before the start of Xixili fashion show.

There were 2 Q&A sessions before the Xixili fashion show. First round had 5XRM30 cash vouchers. One of them was won by Allen. Wonder what he’s buying with this?

He was the second guy to answer the question coz he zoomed in to the banner near the stage and found the answer. Quite a number of guys won the vouchers hahaha… At the end, he gave it to his friend who also won one voucher. She’s a girl, so it’s useful for her.

Then, came the second round. I didn’t know what they were giving out actually. I just answered the questions just so to win something for the fun of it. Frankly, I had no idea which floor I was in tHe Spring so I gave the wrong floor but they gave me another chance ;p


When I got it, I still got no idea what’s in there until somebody (don’t know who) mentioned that it’s panties. M also got one, I asked her to answer the question since she got the first question in the first round of Q&A wrong. Also, there was no one knew the answer coz it’s not easy, so might as well let her answer with the help of Allen.

We got our panties and we camwhored with it *LOL* Funny I tell you, all those DSLRs snapping away while we posed with our new panties, I mean still in the packaging ;p


My first time having such kind of panties. I never buy any fancy panties in my whole life. This is the fanciest! Wonder when will I wear it hmm… It feels weird. Anyway, wanna see me in this? You can actually but only when you be my Valentine hahaha…

I have more than 1200 of photos to filter for the 2 days fashion show. Stay tuned!

Breeze Launch Party @ Victoria Arms

Was lucky to be in the list of the selected bloggers to join Breeze Launch Party. I was supposed to be there early but I ended up late due to massive jam when we sent our bro to tuition. Allen and Robin had to wait for me. Thanks for waiting for me, felt so bad that I was late.

Anyway, I don’t have any photos of other bloggers or even my own photos in my camera. So if you are asking for your photos from me, I have to tell you that I don’t have any. The photos you see here are all that I have.


On the way in… Then there’s food but I didn’t consider these as dinner… Some of the food that I came across, I only had 4 types only, one each, but not all you see here I had eaten, some were Robin’s. It’s more like finger food rather than dinner.

The place was packed! The photo here was taken before the start of the event. As usual, Gary as the MC.

As for the guys, hmmm… I only see two that has the potential ;p The two guys in the last two photos. Ben and Richard(I hope I got this guy’s name correct).

After that, at 9.30pm the party was opened to public and it’s getting more and more packed.

Hmm… When was the launch? *LOL* I left before 11.30pm, can’t stand it anymore.

For your information, this model search competition runs from April until August, and winners will graced the September cover of Breeze Magazine. I heard that you can vote for your favourites by then. Not sure how though.
