This Is It

Posted on July 14, 2012 By sweet surrender No Comments on This Is It

Another post with no photos. Busy weekend. Then will be in Brisbane next week.

So… This is it. After so many years of waiting, trials and errors, and ups and downs. It’s confirmed.

Confirm what?

Go figure it out yourself *LOL*

What’s the next step? We’ll see how it goes. Just started. Roughly talked about the future. At least we’re more or less on the same wavelength. I will do my best to maintain it and not going to let go of it so easily now. I don’t think I can afford to let this one off the hook anymore because I’m hooked. I have no more time to waste.

Grow Up People!

Posted on July 13, 2012July 13, 2012 By sweet surrender No Comments on Grow Up People!

Found out a disturbing news yesterday from back home. There goes our peaceful city. Someone got shot in the head at a local coffee shop =.=” My timeline in Facebook was filled with the news. The thing that annoyed me the most was how people can be so immature in their take on this incident. We know we are angry with such thing but at the same time be rationale!

First thing coming from them was pointing fingers at the government, police, and so on. What is wrong with them? They got nothing to do with it at all. Shit like this happens everywhere! It’s just like you walk on the street and then step on your own shoelace, fell and hurt yourself. So? Who you blame? The council because of the road or the shoelace manufacturer? For goodness sake! It’s your own shoelace! Or you drove after your drinking session, then got into a road accident, so? Blame the people who make the car or the road? What are you people thinking? Grow up! One more, you got into a fight with your friend because of disagreement and ended up in the hospital, you blame the police for not protecting you? Where’s the logic?

Obviously, the unfortunate incident happened was due to the personal issues of the shooter and the one got shoot. Someone wants his/her revenge. You can’t control this from happening. That’s their problem. It got nothing to do with crime rate going up or down. Then, some people would go dig out crime statistics and questioned about it legitness. So what if the report said that crime rate had gone down and this thing happened? Then you would say that it’s bullshit. Just because crime rate goes down doesn’t mean things like that will not happen. Com’on people!

Just because you are not happy with the government, the police or whatever, don’t use thing like this to blame them.*SMACK HEAD* Why not put it this way, can I blame your teachers, your parents and so on that your way in blaming others in this incident as childish/uneducated because your teachers and parents didn’t teach you well? Of course not!

Grow up! Next time, if you walked into the wall because you didn’t look at where you were going, you know who to blame right? *ROLL EYES*

Enjoy your weekend and look where you are going or else some innocent souls would get blames for something they had not done. Pity them.

Mixed Feelings

It seems like I’ll be having what I’ve always wanted but at the same time I’m worry about it because I don’t have much time left here. Even though there’s more than 6 months left (if unlucky, then less than 6 months!) still it will be over extremely soon!

As simple as what it should be happening now. I should be at home now for good because my previous visa expires on 30th June. If I didn’t continue my study, I would be blogging from home and maybe worrying about what to do next as I’m really dread to have to start all over again and I feel like I’m going back to where I was 1 1/4 year ago, no difference. Also, I didn’t get to achieve much and didn’t even get the chance to travel but stuck in Adelaide. Believe it! I’m here for more than a year yet I haven’t venture out of South Australia -.-”

Now that I’m still here since I changed my program, my visa will expire in March 2013. Judging from how things are going on now, things are getting interesting and it’s gonna pose a huge challenge for me for sure, it’s will no longer be about just me but another person too. My life will take a change of course for either better or worst. Happy but worry at the same time. If lucky, I’ll get to stay till the end of my visa, if not then I must leave in December due to the immigration restriction (long story…). Else, I might be staying here for good if things are taking another turn but it’s a bit too soon for it. Then again we never know where life will take us to. All we hope is for the best.

Bing’s Chinese Restaurant

Posted on July 4, 2012July 4, 2012 By sweet surrender No Comments on Bing’s Chinese Restaurant

Went to Bing’s Chinese Restaurant months back bit never update it because I didn’t know the shop’s name until recently ;p It’s located at Chinatown, 6/85 Grote Street, Adelaide, SA 5000. Just opposite Hong Kong Grocery Shop. Very easy to spot.

Left: The interior. Once you go in there, you’ll not mistaken you’re in a Chinese restaurant.
Right: Since it’s so long ago, I’m not sure what kind of fried rice is this. It cost us about AUD11+ if not mistaken. Portion was small! Was disappointed with the portion but it tasted great.

Left: Not sure about this too hehehe… It’s a meat dish (either mutton or beef) with cumin. Yum! Spicy and delicious! This cost more than AUD12 I think…
Right: Dumpling, not sure of the exact name too, sounded something like Northern Steamed Pork Dumpling. This is the best dumpling so far we had in Adelaide. Even my friend who is very particular about dumpling gave this two thumbs up. It’s quite cheap for this, 15 dumplings for only AUD7.80 (or is it AUD7.50? Doesn’t matter, it’s below AUD8 and it’s cheap and delish!).

Overall, I will come back to this place again even though the portion is a bit smaller and slightly pricier.

Grendha & I

Posted on July 1, 2012July 2, 2012 By sweet surrender No Comments on Grendha & I

I first fell in love with Grendha Brianna and Bella in gold colour. I’ve been waiting for these to be on sale last year but both never did until now but I don’t need it anymore.

So, last year, during the summer, I ended up with Grendha Summer Collection 2011 Romance in gold colour for AUD15

Now, I just got another for winter! Grendha Winter Collection 2012 Check in brown, this is AUD30.

In fact, I was having problem in deciding which one to choose (left-right: Check, Sweet, Sweet 3D) at the end I ended up with Check because my feet liked it even though the bow on the shoe is hideous *LOL* They should just design it with a small bow just like the other two pairs, then it would be perfect! The other two weren’t comfortable.

It seemed like my feet really like Grendha. It’s pretty hard for me to buy shoes. If my feet were not happy when I tried them on, I won’t bother to buy. However, for Grendha, it’s just so comfortable when I tried it on. I guess this is my favourite brand for now. There’s few more that I had my eyes on but that will have to wait when I’m in the mood to spend money and when I really need new pair of shoes.

Gonna hunt for one more pair, strappy high heels to replace my current one which had been with me for years and it’s experiencing quite a fair bit of wear and tear because I wore it a lot! Then, that should be about it for my shoe shopping spree ;p

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
