INNOVATIVE C-BRIDGE DESIGN BRINGS HUAWEI FREECLIP A REVOLUTIONISED OPEN-EAR AUDIO EXPERIENCE

Posted on December 13, 2023December 13, 2023 By sweet surrender No Comments on INNOVATIVE C-BRIDGE DESIGN BRINGS HUAWEI FREECLIP A REVOLUTIONISED OPEN-EAR AUDIO EXPERIENCE

KUALA LUMPUR, 13 DECEMBER 2023 – HUAWEI Consumer Business Group (CBG) today announced the launch of its brand-new audio product HUAWEI FreeClip, expanding the brand’s repertoire of audio product series and catering to a new generation of listeners.

HUAWEI FreeClip

This marks the first open-ear TWS earbuds by Huawei, which sets itself apart from conventional audio technology with its innovative C-bridge Design, leakproof sound technology, IP54-rated water and sweat resistance, AI Crystal-Clear call, and the industry’s first-ever intelligent left-right ear recognition. HUAWEI FreeClip will be available for pre-order exclusively on the Huawei Official Website, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, and HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada. Stay tuned for more information.

Launched as part of Huawei wearables’ Fashion Forward proposition, the HUAWEI FreeClip presents the best of both fashion-focused design and Open-ear Listening technology, featuring an iconic C-bridge Design which is a groundbreaking design highlight of the earbuds. The innovative design makes the HUAWEI FreeClip the ideal wireless audio companion for users who desire an alternative to in-ear earbuds for versatile uses, such as in sports, fashion, leisure, and mobile office scenarios.

Huawei’s First Open-Ear TWS Audio: Made for the New Generation Listener

During its R&D process, Huawei noticed a growing demographic of listeners who wanted an audio listening experience that had all the technological strengths of contemporary in-ear wireless earbuds but allowed them to stay attuned to their surroundings. However, many users found conventional open-ear earbuds to be lacking in comfort, audio quality, and aesthetics.

The HUAWEI FreeClip was therefore developed by Huawei as an answer to these evolving needs and to resolve existing pain points in the market. The open-ear TWS earbuds also added features that would boost outdoor sports experiences or working needs, such as online calls and in-person collaborations at the office.

Innovative C-bridge Design: Optimising the Open-Ear Audio Experience

To create open-ear TWS earbuds that provide comfort and style all at once, Huawei thoroughly conducted real user testing and research to achieve an optimal ergonomic fit that still manages to stun in design – basing its design off the data of over 10,000 global human ear data.

This was achieved through three main parts of the earbuds: the Comfort Bean, the Acoustic Ball, and the C-bridge. At the centre of the structural design is the C-bridge Design, which connects the Acoustic Ball and Comfort Bean using a cantilever design. The C-bridge Design is crafted with the industry’s complex techniques, which required 3 years for Huawei engineers to master. The C-bridge Design’s prototypical infrastructure is made of high-performance nickel-titanium (Ni-Ti) shape memory alloy, which ensures optimal comfort for different ear sizes and shapes. Even with its malleability, the C-bridge Design also manages to maintain its durability, and has been stress-tested through 25,000+ reliability tests.

The C-bridge Design also brings the ultimate technology that connects the earbuds’ acoustic, battery and control system, with the Ni-Ti shape memory alloy containing 9 core wires and 1 memory steel wire despite having the thin circumference of a wire. This design ensures each earbud weighs only as light as 5.6g, lightweight and comfortable enough to be worn a full day.

Together with the ergonomic convex-concave structures of the Acoustic Ball and Comfort Bean, each feature works together to produce a secure yet ergonomic fit, staying fastened on the user’s ears while lessening strain and discomfort on the ears. This matters even more to those who need to wear their earbuds over a long period of time, whether its a full workday of back-to-back calls in the office or up to 8-hour music playback.

Leakproof Audio Featuring Reverse Sound Waves System

The HUAWEI FreeClip’s Open-ear Listening technology solves this by relying on two major audio technologies – the high-sensitivity 10.8 mm Dual-magnet High-sensitivity Driver Unit and the Reverse Sound Waves system – which work in tandem to improve audio clarity and prevent sound leakage.

The 10.8 mm Dual-magnet High-sensitivity Driver Unit ensures an increased driving capability of the speakers, resulting in powerful sound production that presents the nuanced tones of the music the user is listening to. Moreover, the C-bridge Design ensures the Acoustic Ball comfortably covers the circumference around the crus of the helix and the antitragus, comfortably fitting the user’s auricles while bringing the audio production closer to the ear canal.

The Reverse Sound Waves System lets users enjoy intelligent volume adjustment while subtly cancelling sound waves. This would help create a more secure and pure listening experience, while sound waves at a distance are cancelled, reducing sound leakage effectively. In addition, FreeClip has designed dual sound rear vents on the backside of the acoustic ball to reversely offset the leakage sound waves and reduce sound leakage.

First Open-Ear Earbuds with Auto Left-Right Ear Recognition

One common challenge of TWS earbuds is the inconvenient sorting between left-right earbuds, which causes inconsistent audio experience or potential discomfort from the mismatch between the ear and earbud. The technology ensures that the earbuds adapt to the users’ comfort and convenience, rather than the other way round, creating a more hassle-free and intuitive user experience.

Made for the Fit and Fashionable: Sweat Resistance and Wind Reduction

On top of its snug and secure fit, the HUAWEI FreeClip is IP54 rated for water and sweat resistance. This makes the earbuds a great fit for users who rely on it during physical activities, whether its music for motivation or staying connected to Bluetooth calls.

The wind noise reduction would help users make conducive calls even while they’re road cycling in public.

Ayam Brand™ Community Care Campaign 2023

Posted on November 13, 2023November 13, 2023 By sweet surrender No Comments on Ayam Brand™ Community Care Campaign 2023

Ayam Brand Empowers 1,000 Children For a Better Future
Supports 25 Local Children’s Homes with 2 Months of Healthy Meals, Free Eye Health Check and Prescription Spectacles for Those Who Need

Kuching, 9 November, 2023 – It is estimated that up to 5.6 million school-going children in Malaysia face the double burden of malnutrition[1]. The double burden of malnutrition is defined as the coexistence of both undernutrition and overnutrition in the same population across the life course[2]. In short, malnourished children run the risk of becoming obese adults.

Worryingly, vision issues are also on the rise among Malaysian children with myopia prevalence among children at age seven at 9.8%, rising to 34.4% at the age of 15[3]. While some eye problems are inevitable for various reasons, others can be attributed to a lack of proper care.

#AyamBersamaMu 2023

To assist with these issues, Ayam Brand™, the 131-year old household name famed for its wide range of quality, preservative-free, no added MSG, healthy, and convenient canned food, is back with its annual Community Care Campaign 2023. Themed #AyamBersamaMu with the concept of ‘Add Health with Ayam Brand™’, it will reach out to more than 1,000 children from 25 non-governmental organisations across seven states to provide a two-months supply or approximately 35, 028 healthy meals.

Going beyond the contribution of its products, Ayam Brand™ in collaboration with KPJ Healthcare Group will be running nutrition workshops to educate these children on healthier dietary choices following the 3S (Suku-suku Separuh) Malaysian Healthy Plate concept. To address vision issues among these children Ayam Brand is working with Focus Point Group to provide free eye health screening, and prescription glasses to children who require from these homes.

Each participating home products are high in protein, calcium, Omega-3 and fibre including Ayam Brand™ Tuna Mayonnaise, Ayam Brand™ Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce and Ayam Brand™ Soya Flakes Spread.

Benefits of Fish in Diet

“The risk of double malnutrition, and myopia among Malaysian children requires action from all parties who can assist including organisations such as Ayam Brand. This is why we stepped up to help. Ideally all children should have good nutrition from birth. Ayam Brand™ has a long history of contributing our healthy and nutritious products to communities, and we are continuing in that commitment. However, we believe that while providing our products is an immediate solution, over the long term, educating children on making healthier food choices is the key. Our fish products are high in protein, calcium, Omega-3, DHA among other vitamins and minerals that children need for good health, including eye health,” says Ms Teoh Wei Ling, A. Clouet (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.’s Marketing Manager.

Studies conducted by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) found that Ayam Brand™ Sardines in Tomato Sauce was shown to have 7.1X more Omega-3 compared to home-cooked locally caught fresh sardines and Ayam Brand™ Mackerel in Tomato Sauce contains a whopping 7.6X more Omega-3 compared to an equivalent serving of home-cooked locally caught mackerel.

“Proper nutrition is important for children’s overall well-being, especially the consumption of protein for growth and development. One of those good protein sources is from fatty fish like tuna, saba, sardine, and mackerel, with good sources of Omega-3, which is vital for children’s brain development and eye health. Since our body cannot produce Omega-3 on its own, we need to obtain it from the foods we eat. One should consider to consume at least 2 servings of fatty fish weekly.” says Ms Yip Song Qing, KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital’s dietitian.

Ms Teoh Wei Ling also adds that “the Ayam Brand Community Care campaign which is now in its 16th year has contributed more than 2.1 million healthy meals for charity, providing nutritious food to more than 27,293 people from 610 charity homes and NGOs”.

In Sarawak, a total of 183 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Pendidikan Nur Murni, Kompleks Kebajikan Laila Taib Kuching, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Baiturrahmah Kuching and The Salvation Army Kuching Children’s Care Centre  participated in the Add health with Ayam Brand #AyamBersamaMu workshop that was held at KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital.

Children learned about making healthier dietary choices through an informative and engaging session with  Ms Yip Song Qing. Next, each child put their new knowledge into practice by preparing themselves a healthy snack following the Suku-suku Separuh concept, guided by the KPJ and Ayam Brand team.

The children also participated in memory matching and ball toss games, which allowed them to practise their visual recall and hand-eye coordination as a way to reinforce what they had learned at the workshop. Members of the winning team each received a medal, while all participants received gift bags.

Representatives from the charity homes expressed their gratitude for Ayam Brand’s continued support, and for the transformative impact it will have on the lives of the children.

Making a Difference to Beat Plastic Pollution

Posted on June 9, 2023June 9, 2023 By sweet surrender No Comments on Making a Difference to Beat Plastic Pollution

SEOUL, 8 June 2023 — World Environment Day, held annually on June 5, puts a spotlight on the pressing environmental challenges of our times, and is a great opportunity for people all around the globe to discuss efforts to protect and restore the Earth.

Established by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in 1972 and led by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), World Environment Day celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023. Over the past five decades, the internationally observed day has grown to become one of the largest global platforms for environmental outreach.

Hosted by Côte d’Ivoire in partnership with the Netherlands, this year’s World Environment Day event – #BeatPlasticPollution – focuses on solutions to the problem of plastic pollution. Côte d’Ivoire banned the use of plastic bags in 2014 and has shown its continuing leadership in reducing reliance on plastics by supporting a nationwide shift to reusable packaging. A signatory of the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment and a member of the Global Partnership on Plastic Pollution and Marine Litter, the Netherlands is also adopting a variety of measures to address this key environmental issue.

To raise awareness of the event and highlight the theme of this year’s World Environment Day, UNEP has created a compelling and informative video. The video inspires hope with the message that we now have the science and solutions needed to beat plastic pollution, while also calling on governments, cities and businesses to take action.

LG is showing its support for the UNEP and World Environment Day by playing UNEP’s video on its digital billboards in New York’s iconic Time Square and London’s famed Piccadilly Circus. Located in high-traffic pedestrian areas in two of the world’s most-visited cities, the company’s billboards are expected to provide World Environment Day with significant exposure, raising public awareness and hopefully encouraging more people to do their part.

As a socially responsible corporate citizen, LG is taking active steps to help create a better life for all. To achieve this, the company is committed to practicing a circular economy by continuously expanding the use of recycled materials, which are already used in the production of select newer product models, including LG Styler, LG tiiun mini, refrigerators and dishwashers. This year, the company aims to expand the use of recycled materials to more products, such as the LG Styler ShoeCase, LG Styler ShoeCare and LG OLED evo TV, contributing to the company’s goal to use an accumulated total of 600,000 tons of recycled plastic by 2030.

As the company continues to do its part to reduce plastic pollution, LG is hopeful that increased promotion of the #BeatPlasticPollution campaign on its billboards in two of the most populous tourist attractions around the world will raise awareness and positively impact the public to do what is possible to reduce the use of plastic.

Unbox KitKat Peach & Strawberry Milk | Origami Tutorial – Peach & Heart

Posted on June 28, 2022August 25, 2022 By sweet surrender No Comments on Unbox KitKat Peach & Strawberry Milk | Origami Tutorial – Peach & Heart

When it comes to KitKat, we all know it has many flavours and themes that are available in Japan. Got hold of two packets of Kitkat which have origami instructions on the back of the packets. Bought two flavours from Donki in Singapore. One is peach, one is strawberry milk. I didn’t go to Singapore for it haha… I asked my brother to help me to get it. Here you go… I unboxed and did the origami.

I’m not very good at doing such things. Even with diagram instructions, it took me quite a while to figure it out. It took longer than expected hahaha… I even tried to translate the instructions with Google Lens. Guess what?!? It’s hopeless! Only showed me the word “tangent”. Funny!

I know how hard it is for some people like me to make them. I hope these videos can help you with making it.
