Everyday Minerals Foundation Swatches

I’m still in Penang and this is a scheduled post just like the previous posts. ;p

I managed to do a quick experimentation the other day. I haven’t fully use them yet except the concealer which I blended them with random foundation. We’ll talk about this on other days.

Here are the swatches in case you are interested.

(L-R)Golden Medium, Light Olive, Fawn
From the first batch. None of the colour suit me but it won’t be very obvious I guess if I have thin layer of them on my face except Fawn. I tested them on my forehead and the colour maintained as it is at the end of the day.

Here’s from the second batch:

(Left)Winged Buttered, Neutral, Olive Medium
(Right)Olive Medium(intensive), Neutral(intensive), Winged Buttered(semi matte)
I think I’ve found one very close to me, Neutral is the one! In the photo, it has tiny bit of yellow but in real life, I can’t see it! I think I got my colour already!


Lastly, the blusher I got. Salon Fun. I tested it on my eyelid as eyeshadow. Hmm… Not a very good idea for eyeshadow if you are using it alone because it looked like I got bruise(o che) on my eye ;p It looked ok in the photo but in real life, unless I’m dressing up for Halloween *LOL*

That’s all for the time being. I have to find a day to totally use them on my whole face.

Remember the first post of Everyday Minerals free samples that I told you before? I ordered the second batch on 26th September and I finally got it today! I was expecting it to come later due to Raya holidays and rough estimation based on the first order.

This time it came in bigger package as I ordered the brushes too.

I selected the 2 new colours in olive range for foundation and also the new concealer. I don’t have time to test them out yet. Wait till after my exam or Penang trip 😉


Now I have 6 shades of foundations.

The thing is that… Now it came in bigger jars! WAH! However, they still contain the same amount of powder. I got this from their site:
Mini jars and temporary sample jars will be used for sample kits until 10/30
So? Want to get the bigger jar? Make sure you order within October. However, you might still get the mini jar, depends on your luck I guess…


Concealers and blushers. Bigger containers are new batch; smaller containers are the first batch.

That’s it! No more order, I have no money in my Paypal anymore too ;p Just withdrew the whole thing few days back.

There! It’s been a while not posting any photo of myself. These were taken last Thursday before going to the wedding banquet. I think this post might scare some people off from visiting my blog.

Ah well… It’s been a while not doing all these dressing up thing because I’m very lazy.

All the above are heavily editted at the eye area because of my eye bags, dark circles and the slightly swallon right eye. All these were so obvious because of the lighting in my room that gave heavy shadow below my eyes.


The only photo that isn’t editted is the second one.

Notice that my eyes were bigger than usual? *LOL* Just some makeup tricks, the right eyeshadow and double eyelid tapes.

As for my hair, it took me about 1 hour to sort of straightened them.

This whole dress up thing took me about 1 and half hour ;p Girl… What to do? Here’s the products that I had used:

I didn’t use much products, just basic ones. Guys, don’t be surprised, this is just very little. There are people that are using so much more products than these, these are just the basics. Normally I only use foundation and blusher. Mascara is only when I’m in the mood.

Face: Maybelline Angelfit foundation in light ochre, Boots No7 High Lights Illuminating Powder(my sis got this from UK), and in2it blusher.

Eye: Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow-Liner Birthday Suit and the brown colour of Shiseido Eyeshadow BR754, Everyday Mineral Multitasking Concealer, Maybelline Volum’ Express Hypercurl, and Guardian Double Eyelid Tape.

Lips: I just realised I forgot to take photos of the lips products that I used! So absent minded. Basically they are Lip Ice Fruity as the base, then Sheer Color and topped with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Crystal.

Hair: Heat protector, straightening iron, and mousse. Lazy to list out the products’ brand ;p also forgot to take photo of them.

Oh ya… First time camwhore with my new camera after dressing up.

I really don’t know what’s wrong with Streamyx nowadays! *PISS* I used to be able to stream several videos that are about 60 minutes simultanously but for these two months, just streaming a 10 minutes video takes ages! What are you upgrading/downgrading?

Was so so so lazy but at the same time would like to paint my toenails, so simply did some simple nail art without planning. Just pasted whatever I got without plan and thinking. Ended up like this.

Got nothing much to update really ;p and found this one in my photo archive, so just blog about it since I’ve not been blogging about it for ages. In fact this was done last month.

Ellips Hair Vitamin

I got this from the sample that was given to me when I shopped at Guardian at Green Height Mall.

I always see Ellips Hair Vitamin there but never want to buy it because I’m not attracted to the packaging at all and also because I don’t need it, never got the urge to try it out too. Since it’s included in the sample goodie bag, I tried it few months back with my sister because this one capsule is too much for me to use. Even with two of us, there’s till extra left!

Why? She got shorter hair and then my hair is not long and thick enough to finish it. To finish the whole capsule without wasting, I applied quite a lot. I was expecting it to be very oily but it didn’t turn out like this, instead my hair is so much easier to manage and shinier and less frizzy.

This pink blister pack is for hair treatment which consist of jojoba oil as one of the ingredients. Apply it after your hair wash. Apply it to your whole hair and leave it. Very simple and easy to use.

I don’t remember the price ;p
