Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mist

Posted on March 3, 2011March 3, 2011 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mist

I bought Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mist after I finished up Avene Thermal Spring Water Mist(didn’t blog about it but it’s quite good I must say, it soothes my sensitive skin when it got too sensitive/itchy and also cool down my skin during the very hot days).

I don’t see or feel any difference Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mist made to my skin, kind of useless to me. Quite pricey but I bought it at discounted price which was RM30 and below. The normal price is around RM30 if I’m not mistaken.

I usually use it after toner if I’m not using Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion as toner to replenish some moisture into the skin before using moisturizer.

The bottle is good enough for you to put in your hand carry if you’re boarding a plane because it’s only 40ml and it’s not in aerosol can. Guess it might be useful when you’re on board since the air is very dry.

In conclusion, I won’t buy it again.

Very First All-girls Gathering

Posted on March 1, 2011March 1, 2011 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Very First All-girls Gathering

The past 2 1/2 years, almost every single weekend, I’m surrounded by these girls. Miss those crazy days in classes with them. We had junk food while listening to lectures by passing the food around while the lecturers were busy lecturing ;p Non-stop eating every weekend. Sometimes we even had buah kedondong(Great Hog Plum) and sambal belacan, even kuaci in class! Imagine passing them from the front to the back, from the back to the front during lectures. Whenever there’s celebrations(CNY, Raya, Gawai etc.), there’s non-stop food supply.

Usually my gathering sessions were with male and female friends; attended classes with male and female course mates; all in the same age range.

With the girls, it’s a different experience from what I used to have. We ranged from early 20’s to late 40’s(single and married), coming from different professions and ethnicity but with the same love for children education. We even had a course mate in her 60’s but she’s from the earlier batch.

Last Sunday, only those in age range of early 20’s to 30’s turned up. Doesn’t matter the age difference, when we’re all together, there’s no such thing as age difference. We’re all in the same wavelength.

Last year, majority had graduated. Had been talking about gathering but it was never organized. Finally last Sunday we had our very first gathering at Delizze even though many couldn’t make it. As usual, we had so many types of food excluding food with colby jack cheese and mexican cheese. However, there’s food with grated parmesan cheese. I don’t quite remember what we had, I didn’t take photos of them, too many till lost track.

At the end of the gathering, they gave me a beanie and a scarf. Thanks girls! Surely will keep me warm. The beanie is so CUTE!

Till we meet again.

Cheerios

Posted on February 27, 2011February 27, 2011 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Cheerios

Cheerios sounds like some junk food but it’s not. It’s breakfast cereal. I heard of Cheerios a lot but didn’t know it’s breakfast cereal ;p It’s finally now available in Malaysia.

Some time last year, I tried my luck redeeming a box of Cheerios from Nestle’s page in Facebook. There were 1000 boxes given away for free. I submitted my details and totally forgot all about it. Then few days before CNY, I was awaken by a phone call from the courier service. I was so blurred. As far as I know, I didn’t even buy anything online during that period of time. When I got the package, then I remembered.

Cheerios is lightly sweetened and has a combination of five nutritious grains(rice, corn, wheat, oats and barley).

Eating it on its own wasn’t that sweet. However, when having it with milk, it sweetened the milk so much! I don’t really like my milk sweetened. For this, I don’t think I’ll buy it in the future, I still prefer plain cornflakes.

Cornflakes Marshmallow

Posted on February 25, 2011February 26, 2011 By sweet surrender 14 Comments on Cornflakes Marshmallow

I made Cornflakes Marshmallow for CNY. I’ve been trying to look for such recipe that requires no baking for ages online, couldn’t seem to find any, all required baking. Finally found it in Big Oven using my phone application ;p The original recipe is called Cornflakes Holly and I modified it as usual.

Ingredients:

  • 40 small plain marshmallows (Coloured or not it’s up to you, apparently the pink colour was pretty strong hence the pink coating that you can see in the photo. Do not use those with filling.)
  • 4 tablespoon of butter (add on if you found that it’s too sticker or the marshmallow having trouble melting)
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cup of cornflakes

Instructions:

  1. Use double boiler to melt butter and marshmallow.
  2. Add in cornflakes once the butter and marshmallow have melted completely.
  3. Mix them well.
  4. Spoon the mixture into paper cup.
  5. Leave it to cool and store in air-tight container.

My verdict… Not bad at all! 😉 Not too sweet. It’s cripsy and chewy at the same time. Oh… One more thing, the butter you use can make or break the taste too.

Tomorrow Leaders Summit 2011

Posted on February 24, 2011February 24, 2011 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Tomorrow Leaders Summit 2011

I’m so excited! Why? This is because I’m going to meet Andrea Fonseka (Miss Universerse (Malaysia) 2004), Amber Chia (Fashion Model, Mother, Businesswoman), and Lina Teoh (Miss Malaysia World 1999) in person!!!

I admire beauties with brains. It’s not everyday we can meet them in person especially in this part of the country. It’s rare chance. Do you want to meet them too?

This is going to happen during the Tomorrow Leaders Summit 2011 which will be held on 18-20 March, 2011 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. Even Nobel Laureate, Professor Douglas D. Osheroff will also be there delivering the keynote address during the Tomorrow’s Leaders Summit. Besides him, you can also hear from many others.

Check out Tomorrow Leaders Summit 2011 website to learn more.

Oh by the way… It’s only open for those in the age range of 18-40 years old. Don’t miss the chance!

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
