Heard of WowBook?

This is the new kid on the block.

This book cost RM25. You get all sort of vouchers from eateries to products to services and what makes it different is that every RM5 from the book purchase will be donated to charity.

The membership card is gold in colour. You have to register it at http://www.malaysiawow.com to enjoy more benefits from it.

Atok Kopitiam

Atok Kopitiam is located at DUBS. Same row as Level Up Fitness, just behind HSBC. I heard a lot of good reviews about it but sadly it’s not up to my standard. At least judging from the food I ordered.


I had my lunch there while waiting fro my lunch date who came so much later due to some unforeseen circumstances. When she came, I was lazy to take photos already. So you only see the food I ordered.

I ordered Nasi Ayam Penyet(RM7). Quite a bit of disappointment to me as I did not expect the Nasi Ayam Penyet to look like this. Especially the vegetables. Taste wise, average.

Overall, the prices there are acceptable. Environment was not bad. Having a drink there should be fine. Having the toasts there should be fine also since the good things I heard about were the toasts.

Bintawa Kueh Chap

Heard of this famous Bintawa Kueh Chap for quite a long long time but never get the chance to try it out because it’s very out of the way and located at a place that I got no idea how to navigate hahaha…

My dad found that it happened to be just few houses away from his friend’s house. So we went there few weeks back for dinner. The business was so good! We had to wait for a table. Most of the pork spare parts were finishing.

Here… We ordered 2 small(RM4/bowl, the black bowl) and 1 medium(RM5, the white bowl).

The small bowl seemed pretty small but I got quite full eating it. As for the medium, the bowl really looked much bigger than what you see in the photo due to the angle ;p

I do agree that the kueh chap is nice. The broth was different from other places that I had tried. Should give it a try.

The business hour started at 6pm daily. I’m not sure when is their off day(s) though.

However, I don’t know how to give you the direction… I took this from Kong Kay:

turn left into Bintawa estate at the big roundabout with a fishing boat in it, if you’re coming from town after the toll bridge; go straight and you come to a junction with a market on its left. Take left, and then the first right, and then the first left. The house is a brightly lit one on the right side of the road.

If you are still not very clear on it, please don’t ask me because I’m really hopeless in giving you any useful hints/tips to go there 😛

1st, 2nd Day and 3rd Day of CNY

First day… I stayed at home the whole day, nothing much to do. Was so bored until I almost fell asleep. Usually I would go to my friend’s house in the afternoon but not this year. Since my friend was having open house on 2nd day so might as well go on 2nd day.


It’s a good thing I went there late. Supposed to go there early. I managed to take pictures of lion dance. If I went earlier, I might leave earlier and miss it.


Stayed there for almost 6 hours *LOL* Just to meet these people -.-” I spent time waiting for them. This year we do not organize group visiting like we used to. Every year, less and less people joining the group visiting. Everyone is too busy with their own agenda so really don’t see the point of doing it anymore.

Besides, feeling pretty lazy this year too… Wonder why?

Today… Just stayed at home the whole day during the day muching junk food in front of the laptop, playing games and watch Gery’s Anatomy. At night, went out for dinner with my family at Marrybrown, Hills Shopping Mall. I’m supposed to have a plan with some friends today but no news about it.

As for tomorrow… Hmm… Maybe will just drop by any friend that is at home. There might be a party to go to tomorrow? Not sure about that yet, no news about it.

This is the second part of tHe Spring Ambassador Hunt Finale. So… I was eliminated.


These are the top 3. Fahri, Naomi, and Morgan. They each performed a talent. Fahri danced, Naomi sang, Morgan played the keyboard.

I’m not sure about the amount of the shopping vouchers though. The three might get them or it’s only for the grand prize winner? I have no clue at all as I didn’t pay attention and I was there for fun only.

Our group photos… It was a fun experience and got to know many new friends. I would say we took care of each other and work together very well. There’s never issue or tension that cropped up at all during the duration of the contest. Kudos everyone!
