Ever wanted to party with the Queen of Pop Madonna herself, have a poker face showdown with Lady Gaga while challenging Amy Winehouse to a ‘Rehab’ sing-off to let her know that she actually REALLY needs it? Well here’s your chance!

All right! It’s not the real Madonna or Lady Gaga or Amy Winehouse, they definitely will not come to Kuching, I don’t think even in near future. However, this is probably the closest you would ever get to touch these three legendary music divas and get away with it.

Come and join me and my friends at The Borneo Funk Fest ‘10 (BFF ‘10) happening this weekend on the 2nd and 3rd of July. There will be a line up of tributes to few of pop music’s greatest acts direct from the United Kingdom! Held by the poolside of Grand Margherita.

There will also be performances by local and international DJs will also be featured throughout the weekend.

Due to logistic issue, I was at the airport since 5pm just now and only left at 7.30pm. Had an expensive and not-worth-it dinner at Old Town White Coffee at the airport. Regretted choosing this place. If we knew that the rest were not dining with us, we might as well go some other place to eat. RM25.10 for two small bowls of nothing interesting noodle and a very small glass of ice lemon tea. Do your math… As if the food were made from gold!

What’s the odd of being upgraded to business class when going on a long haul flight? It’s not always we can get such luxury, at least for people like you and me. My sister’s friend was so lucky that she got upgraded automatically from economy class to first class when she flew Emirates from Newcastle to KL. Cool!

Then, my sister was also lucky enough to be upgraded to business class when she boarded the Emirates’ Newcastle to KL flight. Interesting. She’s been using Emirates for years to come back. This is the first time she got upgraded. When it was time to board, her name was called and she was asked to board the plane from another gate. She was excited of course! The agony of economy class of long haul flight, you can imagine that, no need to experience that during her trip back this time.

Different kind of food for sure. There were quite a number of choices but she went for these.


The highlight is the amenity kit. You can only get this when you’re on business or first class.

Oh… I’m being vain again!

Tried to act cute in the first photo but failed big time ;p

These were taken before heading out to X-play Party.

In few more minutes, it’ll be Monday! In few more days, I would almost have the whole house for myself and will try to experiment with some cooking especially for dinner. Hopefully I won’t burn down the whole kitchen ;p. Mess up the kitchen would be more likely because I hate cleaning up.
