Hehehe… Supposed to post this yesterday ;p

Better late than never hehehe… There’s a mini fun fair for the children at the end of the fair. I forgot to include this in the previous post.

Let’s see some of the food I had with my friends the other night. These are just some as my battery was flat towards the night.

Left: Pineapple rice from one of the stall selling Thai food.

Right: Noodle from no-idea-where ;p I didn’t buy any of the food because coincidently my shoes gave up on me that day hahaha… I was the princess that night, they bought all the food, I sat there and wait for my food *LOL*

Right: Didn’t get to try this, so many people lining up for it. It rained too. This is a kind of durian delicacy. The one they’re making could be durian crepe. For the first time you can find durian in Kuching Festival! You will not miss it because the smell of the durian is quite strong ;p I wonder how the foreigners can accept this hehehe…

Hmm… When will be my next trip there?

Now… To the garden show, it seems like the server is working OK now. Supposed to post this yesterday but was busily occupied, it’s going to be some crazy week until the end of this month before starting the 2 hectic coming months. Let’s see if I can continue with my daily blogging by then.


As usual, there’s surely Garden Show during Kuching Festival. Of course, taking a walk there is a must.


Nothing much that interests me this year.


Left: However, I spotted this wishing well there. Hmm… I think there’s one last year too, don’t remember. Anyone can recall?

Right: Just a common fountain hahaha…


Left: The stage that was set up at the lake. There will surely be performances every night.

Right: There were some stalls that let you play those fun fair games, you know… Those kind that I would say many people spend a fortune there just to win small little prizes or boys trying to impress girls by winning those prizes and give it to the girls hehehe…

In the early years of Kuching Festival, these games were very popular, every Kuchingite had practically thrown their money in these games before including yours truly ;p Then, few years later, it was banned as according to the council, it’s a type of gambling. Since then, we didn’t see any until recently. I think there were some last year, don’t remember hahaha…

So far, I went there twice only, not as often as I had expected. Last time, I will be there almost 3-4 days week. Anyway, the fair will end on 22nd August. You still have time.

By the way, the fasting month is starting soon, this will mean there will be Ramadhan bazaars set up in various parts of Kuching. In other words, August is going to be Kuching’s food month! Only this month, you will have the chance to savour all those yummy food available in Kuching, they’re coming all out in full force! This is making me hungry now…

Oh my! I spent almost 12 hours reading and writing essays today! Amazing! I don’t think I had studied this hard before especially for language subject. What’s more, it’s English! I had never put any time to do exclusive revision for English exam in school. This is my first time doing so!

Still not confident with my academic and formal writing skill. Need a lot of brushing up and I have less than a week before the “judgment day”! Oh dear… 60 minutes for two essays is quite ridiculous I think… ARG! Worst, when you are required to score everything at least with a 7 and not an average of 7. If it’s an average of 7, I definitely can do that but 7 each? WOW! Not easy.

I thought I will have problem with listening but apparently it was not that bad, at least I know how much I should score to get a 7. The most difficult is writing as it is very subjective, it’s all depend on the marker’s mercy. I guess I will be spending all my available time reading sample essays and train myself to complete two essays in 60 minutes. So far, I failed to complete them in 60 minutes, even if I did, I didn’t have even half a second left to check my writing -.-”

Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion

Managed to try out Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion last two months but only used it for about 1 weeks+ because it belongs to my sister. We only use this lotion at night, we didn’t use it during the day because we saw the the word “Vitamin C” and came out with this theory that we should not be using it during the day else instead of whitening, we’re darkening our skin ;p As we thought that Vitamin C and sunlight didn’t mix. Anyway, did a random search about it and it’s not really the case, oh well… Actually I’m confused, some said that it’s Ok some said that it’s not. Whatever… I didn’t bother to read and analyze the whole thing ;p

Anyway, the instructions said that it can be used for both day and night still we only used it during the night and during the day we used Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion. That way we could try two types.

The colour of the lotion was not clear, it’s milky. There’s no smell at all.

The method to use it is similar to Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion. Drip one or two drops or more depending on your face size and pat on your face till it completely absorb.

It absorb faster compare to Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion. As for the effect, I don’t see any. Well… Less than one week, what do you expect?

I’m supposed to be posting my very first podcast but I was silly enough thinking that I’ll be having MP3 or WAV format for my recording. Who knows after transferring the file to my computer, I found out that it’s another type of format that requires a converter. No luxury of time to hunt for the converter so I’ll post it some other time.

This is going to be a quick post about Kuching Festival 2010.


The indoor trade fair. Nothing much. It’s the same every year with some new participants. Still have some empty booths around.



The outdoor trade fair. It’s the same again, just like what you get every year.

See… Very brief post, I don’t dare to do long post because of the server issue. Still persisting. ARG!
