Remember the prize I got from 4th Sarawak Bridal Fair? Complimentary buffet lunch from Four Points by Sheraton.

I’m supposed to go with someone else but sadly this someone let me down. This someone doesn’t even bother to get back to me as promised. I was told “next week, next week…” and the “next week” never come. Even until today, it’s the last day of the voucher validity, there’s not even a single feedback from that person. Well… I told this person before, “if you still treat me as your friend, please arrange a time for us to go together since we’ve been talking about it since last year.” So… Can I say that I’m not a friend to this person anymore? Not that I’m being sensitive but this is the fact, I’ve been treated by this person like a stranger for most of the time.

All I can say is that, I’m very disappointed with this person. Enough is enough.

Few weeks back, I decided that I shouldn’t wait for this person to go with me, good thing I made the right decision. If I did wait, this voucher is going to be wasted.

I decided to go with Allen since he was the one who picked me up to the bridal fair that time. If not for him I won’t be winning the voucher. What Louis said was right, I should go with Allen. Since Allen’s birthday was coming, so I decided to make this a birthday present for him.


Off we went… Not much photos because I was not allowed to take photos there. I know… You see many blogs posting the photos of this place but sadly I’m not that lucky. I should just shut up and don’t ask.

I asked the person that brought us to the table whether I could take photos or not because I’m afraid that I might be stopped for taking photos halfway and there were many people that time, it will going to be oh so humiliating. I saw many staff there, looked like security guards walking around the restaurant, to avoid unwanted issues I asked for permission and got turned down even after I passed them my name card. Boo…

The place was packed later as the Pre-School convention was held there. The participants went to have lunch there and I saw many of my classmates there. I didn’t greet them though ;p Too far.

Anyway…

However, I forgot all about it because I wasn’t feeling very well that day and my mind was distracted by something else. Sigh…

I did not eat much, I was not really in the mood to eat, I didn’t have much appetite that day. Such wrong timing. These were what I had eaten, so little -.-” Luckily I didn’t pay for it therefore the feeling wasn’t that bad ;p


Lots of choices to choose. The pizza was the best. I didn’t like the meats, just any meat except those from the appetizer section, because they were so dry and overcooked -.-” Others were fine. I did not go for the cakes because they were all sponge cakes with different decorations and some local kueh lapis(if I recall correctly). I managed to try out 24 types of food.

After lunch, we decided to check out the swimming pool. I love it! The green, the blue and the brown blended so nicely with the bright blue sky and fluffy clouds.

The reflection was very nice too. Great place for photo shoot. How I wish I could swim there, it was so hot that day.

Food Tasting @ The Banquet

I’m sure some of you already know that I had food tasting session at The Banquet last Saturday because so many people updated about it already. In fact I wanted to update it yesterday but was too busy.

I won’t be updating about the food yet, just show you the our group photo. It’s been quite a while not having group photos with other bloggers because I’m quite lazy and there isn’t much events going on or even if there was I didn’t join due to various reasons.

I was supposed to be there before 12pm but something came up and I also didn’t expect jams on the way, so I was late.

Supposed to have 12 people but one just realized that he’d be in KL on that day hahaha… So left 11 of us. I’m sure you never see some of them in my blog, let me introduce them to you one by one:

  • Maozi aka Doraemon. Actually he’s not known as Doraemon, we gave him this name hehehe… So, we will refer him as Doraemon next time. Special name by the bloggers to this blogger, Maozi, you got a new name. So next time if people call you Doraemon on the street, then you know it’s one of us *LOL* First time meet him, you can obviously see he is a foodie ;p but can you see or not? He is almost hidden even though he is big hahaha… He was late due to work but he didn’t miss out too much as we started late.

We were all so bloated! Lots of food, so much food until we couldn’t manage to clean the plates hahaha… I settled my lunch and dinner during this session. First time eat so full until could last for another meal.

July is Coming…

How time flies… We are going into the 7th month of 2009. Soon 2010 will be here in no time!

I haven’t fill my income tax form! -.-”

Must get my assignments done within next week.

Another randomness before I go to bed. Too many things to do and got too much distractions. That’s why you see another randomness from me.

It seems like wedding bells are ringing around the corner from people that I know and also people that I know but don’t know me ;p I will have one to attend next Saturday but the funny thing is that it’s the wedding of my friend’s brother instead of his *LOL* When he invited us to go, we were like, “it’s not your wedding, it’s your bro’s. So weird!”

Come to think of it… Somebody(you know who you are ;p) shot me the question yesterday, “Irene! When are you getting married?”, I was stunned and didn’t know how to answer. The fact is that I don’t know and I don’t think I’m even ready for a marriage life. I still have lots of things to accomplish. If I am to get married, many things cannot be done anymore because I’ll be somebody’s wife and my priority and responsibility will be totally changed unless my husband can help me fulfill whatever that I didn’t get to fulfill before marrying him hahaha… If that is possible, then why not? Still, I’m not ready for marriage life hehehe…

Sometimes I envied those friends who got married or have their bf or gf with them but sometimes I feel that I’m so lucky that I have my full freedom to do anything I want without the needs to explain to anyone except my parents ;p Well… Even if I want to tell him, I seldom got the chance, the most I’ll do is just send him an e-mail, then again I will never do something that I am not supposed to do, trust is very important.

However, the thing I hate most with certain people that are attached is that they change. They change into a total stranger even though you had known them for ages! Things that they used to believe and like before now become something “illegal” that as if can cost them their lives and things that they used to hate so much and swore that they will never want to do them even you threatened to “kill” them suddenly become not a big deal.

Problem is that, most of time, you can feel that they are not doing it “naturally”. It feels pretentious and as if being forced. You can see the whole thing affecting other aspects of their lives and people around them too. Isn’t a relationship makes people a better person but how come it makes people loss their identity and got worst? All their good values are gone. Maybe too blind, or too desperate, or too clingy, or too insecure, whatever!

Not only that, they also started to like to talk a lot of hmmm… How to say in English? In Chinese is “feng liang hua”. Really cannot stand this kind of people.

For example:
A: Sigh… I don’t have a bf/gf, I wish I have one, my life is so incomplete and meaningless.
B: Aiya… Last time I also didn’t have bf/gf but still ok and could live, no problem one.

Yeah right!??! You can say like this now coz you have one. If you don’t have one, I’m sure you won’t say like this. You will surely lament about being incomplete and meaningless too.

Ah well…

Warning: Boring post ahead hahahaha…

Today… I got no time to update my blog (then what is this post?!!? ;p).
Today… I woke up one hour earlier and had breakfast one hour earlier.
Today… A friend introduced a potential client to me but I got no time to call the potential client.
Today… I got trapped in jam when I was on my way to a food tasting session, didn’t expect there’s jam there.
Today… Ate so full that my lunch was also my dinner!
Today… I’m not really feeling very happy or in the mood because I bay song ;p
Today… Reached class very late coz I picked the wrong route, didn’t expect such jam.
Today… Went to Song Kheng Hai with classmates again after class, ate a kong pia and almost wanted to puke, still bloated from the lunch.
Today… Only had one drumstick from KFC at Boulevard for dinner coz was still bloated.
Today… I found out that my parents and bro did not like the idea of staying at Tune Hotel in KL due to the history of the building *LOL*
Today… My first time blogging like this ;p

I’m still FULL!

RIP – Michael Jackson & Farrah Fawcett

Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett both are no stranger to us.

However, I’m sure most younger generation don’t know who Farrah Fawcett is.

Frankly, I did not know her name but only know her face, know that she’s one of the Charlie’s Angels and her signature hairstyle because I never bothered. I only know her name today.

Oh well… That’s me. Even when listening to songs, I only enjoy the songs, I never bother who are the people that sing the songs. Whether the person is ugly or beautiful, fat or thin, so long they know their stuffs I don’t care.

It’s really shocking. They both died on the same day. The news was reported early this morning(Malaysian time). I found out about it from Facebook.

I bet all of us growing up listening to Michael Jackson’s songs and watching his distinct dance move. Everyone was shocked. The coming concert in July will never be here… Life is so fragile, you never know what will happen tomorrow. We can only plan but God will execute his job based on his own timing.

As for Farrah Fawcett, her hair is her signature. She was made popular when acting as one-third of the crime-fighting trio in TV’s Charlie’s Angels in 1976. I’m not born yet, I only came to this world 6 years later but I remember seeing this hairstyle a lot in the 80’s. It is still very nice and still suitable to be carried for women in this era. I love this hair style to bits! It never goes out of fashion! Well… At least to me.

Sadly… Farrah Fawcett death is overshadowed by Michael Jackson’s death. You are practically hearing Michael Jackson’s songs on every radio channels today and even my facebook is full of his videos posted by friends in facebook. I login to YouTube and same thing greeted me too.
