Went to catch up with my friend at Double Woodhouse Kopitiam last week. Last time it was Wishing Well, then became Bella(never go there), now it’s Double Woodhouse Kopitiam.


It changes quite a fair bit. The used to be fountain area now become a dining place. There’s a lounge too at the back.


Left: Kopi O, don’t remember the price.

Middle: Woody Milky (RM5), very unique taste, I have no idea what they mixed with the milk, cheese powder? It took a while for me to get used to it.

Right: French fries, don’t remember the price too. There are 2 sizes to choose. The fries wasn’t nice, as if took out from the freezer and deep fried without defrosting.

The service is pretty good. I would recommend to go there to have a drink or two with your friend without blowing the budget in an air-conditioned place. They have huge range of drinks and the price are pretty reasonable. I’m not so sure about the food even though I heard quite a fair bit of complaints.

Will I go again? For a drink, yes. Lots of fancy drinks there and they are quite big in size.

For the food, might try it out if have the chance, this Friday maybe? They serve local and western food.

The place is a bit crowded(with furniture) I would say, depending on where you are sitting. It was packed later that night. Seems like the business isn’t so bad.

Clinique Full Potential Lips

I’m given with Clinique Full Potential Lips lip gloss when I purchased some Clinique products few months back.

I used to like lip gloss a lot but I’m not really into it now because my lips will surely peel few hours later. I don’t know why. I don’t remember when it started also. So now, I seldom use gloss, only once in a blue moon. I had tried several brands and they all gave me this same problem. Hmmm… Anybody know why? Do you have such problem?

I was thinking of testing Clinique Full Potential Lips to see whether the same thing will happen or not, sadly it did happen too. Hmm… I cannot use gloss! I never apply the gloss alone, I will make sure I have a coat of clear lip balm on before applying coloured lips products.

Anyway, let’s see the effect:

Left: No gloss, only lip balm.
Right: It claims that it will plump and shine. So… What do you think? It does live up to the claim. The colour I have is Cherry Bomb (09), it’s so red in the tube but when applied, the colour just didn’t show.

Oh… It did sting a bit when I applied, first lip gloss I used that has such effect. It also has slightly minty smell/taste to it.

I got this from Clinique’s website and the last 2 sentences did give me a shock hehehe… Really?!?! Hmm…

New DUN

Lately with the hoo ha going around in Kuching, I’m sure you all(those in Kuching) know what is going on. It’s such a big thing! The policemen are so hardworking for weeks just to make sure everything goes well tomorrow. We’ve been hearing sirens every few hours and every single day more than a week or so due to the police rehearsal and also due to the arrival of the VVIPs these days. Tomorrow is the big day.

The new DUN is opening tomorrow and there will be lots of events lining up at the city center. Major road blocks will be all over the city center too. How are people going to work like this? It’s not a public holiday summore.

The photos here showing the new DUN still under construction that were taken last year. We have new skyline for Kuching now.

Am I going to cover the event tomorrow? Nope! I’m not going to because I hate crowds! It will be extremely crowded!

I got this on Monday, was shocked it’s from eworldgift.com. I thought they made a mistake as I had already got my free pendant. I opened up the envelope and found out that it’s a thank you gift because I blogged about it and got people to sign up to the website.

I was thinking it might be the same as those free pendants that many people are getting but how wrong I was.

I manipulated the photo to make the crystal stands out even more. The pointy end was really sharp! Seriously sharp! You can stab people with it hahaha… It’s an hexagon with sharp pointy end. Even the edges of the hexagon are sharp. WOW!

Rose quartz: Unconditional love and infinite peace. Good for heart chakra, for attracting love and relationship. Strengthens circulatory system and release impurities from the body fluids. Heals kidneys and adrenal, and alleviates vertigo.

With such shape and with above explanation, I will make my own conclusion on this crystal:
Attracting love and relationship, I would interpret it as relationship with any human be it love, friendship or family. With such pointy and sharp ends, it will mean shooing away those bad(evil) relationships that will hurt me and bring in the good ones for me.

Logic or not? ;p

What I’ve Been Up To?

I’m sure many people are wondering what I’m up to these days, there seemed to be nothing interesting to blog from me. Well… You want to know? I don’t care if you don’t want to know coz I will still tell you anyway!

I’ve been home bound for quite a while. Reasons are:
I’m lazy because I’m tired mentally and emotionally which indirectly lead to feeling physically tired.
I don’t know what I should do because I don’t know if I do it, I will get into trouble or not, I have to protect myself from getting hurt over and over again.
I’m not in the mood to go out at all because I don’t feel like meeting people when I’m feeling lousy.
I stay at home to avoid spending money because when I’m not in good mood, I will spend without thinking sigh… Worst I’m running low on money now.
I just find no reason to go out.

There’s nothing that interests me at all. The only time I go out will be doing some errands and go to classes, that’s all. Exam is coming soon, hopefully can do well.

This is how boring I can be but I don’t feel boring at all ;p How nice to be able to sit there and do nothing, it’s a luxury, not many people can afford it.

Anyway, do you need a blogger to help promote your business/product or you need to get people to help maintain your blog because you are too busy(as if those popular bloggers will read my blog ;p)? I’m available for you, so long that you pay me hahaha… Damn… I’m very money face now, what to do? Running low on money and I need money for my Singapore trip next month.
