Remember I went shopping for shoes in tHe Spring last week? We took many photos. I’m having my last paper today, I’ll be free as a bird tomorrow, at least no more studies and exam to worry even though work is pretty much the same. Maybe I will have better mood to hunt for treasure by then ;p

Just a quick vain post. the second picture was taken at Mitsu Shabu Shabu. The rest all at tHe Spring.

See the shoes pic? That’s the shoes I bought after spending 4 hours+ at tHe Spring. Don’t like the yellow dots hahaha… Nevermind, I’ll get a black marker pen to dot on them after I wear it for few times so that they turn black, then I will have a “new” shoes for myself ;p OH I just remember! I need to get padding for the shoes! Been passing by many pharmacies and always forget!

WOW! It’s late! We’re late! Blame that person for giving me so late ;p OK… Nvm, if I posted this earlier you might miss out something special. Why?

Update: We just got news that it’s postponed. They will have it in January 2009. Very sorry for the inconveniences caused.

This is because it’s Ten Ichi’s 12th anniversary and they are having a contest and lucky draw starting from 15th December 2008-15th January 2008(I hope I got the date right) when you spend a minimum of RM50 in a single receipt. This month, all you need is just order one set and you will be entitled to it. You will surely get something from the lucky draw, you won’t get thing like “thank you, please try again”.

This month’s promotions are really delicious! I love them all! Very luxurious too. The prices aren’t bad too. O la la… I really hope you can go this month. Let’s see what they have this month, available everyday:


Sashimi Bento(RM39.90, N/P RM56.00), I tell you, this is very worth it!


Drooling? See how thick is the salmon? Where can you get such thick sashimi with this price?


I really love to recommend this set to you. This bento set is so colourful! I love it! Presentation is very nice too. Great for sharing among 2-3 friends, even 4 friends if all of you are small eaters.

Next up, This set is really great too.

Izakaya Set A(RM22.90, N/P RM35.00). See that thick slabs of sashimi rolling the mushrooms?


These are the side dishes, baby octopus and egg tofu.

The main dish, I don’t remember what the fish is called (only remember my exam notes now ;p) Didn’t manage to try it out too.

The third dish on offer this month is the boat!! We’ve been eyeing the boat for ages and finally it’s on offer!

Matsuri Sushi On Boat(RM49.90, N/P RM65.00).


My oh my! The Ebi Salad! SLURP! The sushi too! Recommended! Love it to bits! Great to share with 3-4 friends, you can share with even more friends if you order other promo sets.

Up next, cod fish lovers should not miss this.

Izakaya Set B (RM36.90, N/P RM55.00). The brinjal isn’t so bad, I don’t really like brinjal but this is OK for me.


Egg roll, it’s on the sweeter note. As for the sashimi, you see how thick they are!


This tomato is filled with finely grated turnip topped with fish roe all the way from Japan. The portion of fish roe you see here actually costs RM10, just the fish roe only. It’s marinated with Japanese sake. It might make you drunk hehehe… I finished this all by myself but I was still sane and wasn’t drunk ;p. My friend did warn me that I might get myself drunk eating it as I don’t drink hehehe… There’s no alcohol smell at all.

of course not to forget the fried cod fish. Not oily at all.

Alaska Maki (RM19.90, N/P RM26.00), what else I can say? I love it! The thick slab of sashimi *drool*

Lastly…

Back by demand! Only RM9.90 (N/P RM24.00), Sanshoku Temaki, handroll maki in three kinds.

Remember to make reservation, it’s best to do so this month because it’s holiday season and many people will have the reason to dine out and with such promotion, there’s even more reason to dine out. I’m sure this month’s promotion will be a big hit among Japanese food lovers.

Mitsu Shabu Shabu

Went to Mitsu Shabu Shabu for lunch last week when we went shopping at tHe Spring.


It’s opened for so long already and always got no chance to go there because many people said that the shabu shabu is expensive. Still it’s been a while not going to new place to eat, so we went. We didn’t have shabu shabu but ordered the ala-carte menu.


Left: The drinks we ordered, RM3 each. If I can recall correctly, (L-R)Champagne Grape Juice, Ice Blended Chocolate, and Ice Blended Pudding Chocolate. The price is OK for an air-conditioned place.
Right: Indian Fried Noodle(RM5), quite spicy for those that can’t tolerate spiciness.


Left: Fair Lady Noodle(RM5), quite sweet for me and I have no idea what kind of sauce was that.
Right: Fried Noodle with BBQ Sauce(RM5), slightly spicy but nothing to rave about.

Overall, the portion was fine. We were so full! Was cold also coz sitting just right under the air-conditioning unit. Brrrr…

Thanks to Jimmy and International Times for the invitation to cover this charity event. No, I don’t get VIP tickets, all I got was worker pass, means no place to sit, you either stand the whole night or sit on the floor or find somewhere can sit to sit.

Mike? 😛 He’s the winner of the JJ singing contest that was held last month at Wisma Saberkas. I was thinking he will have chance to duet with JJ but he didn’t. I think he should be given this chance. The other two were the MCs of the night.


Those who are crazy about JJ, here you go… All these photos are dedicated to you!


Want more? This lucky girl got so “close” to him hehehe… They were playing game, they had to dance like JJ, few simple steps and they got some prizes, no idea what. I think maybe it’s CD.


One and only lucky shoot but not very clear when he’s doing the “stunt” and more photos for you, the fan of JJ to drool.


More… More… Then, it’s time to come down to greet the VIPs, I didn’t manage to get his photo, too fast and people were protecting him from being “attacked” by crazy fans. I was only few inches away from him when he walked passed. This is the only photo I could get of him greeting the VIPs.


It’s a charity “concert”. The proceeds are for Mental Health Association of Sarawak.


Souvenirs for JJ and the autograph session began.


The closest I could get. Wonder whose hand was that? I’m sure she “melted”. You see how JJ looks at her hahaha…


One last shoot. I didn’t get this shoot when Rynn was here.

On the last note, I’m sorry to say that there were some bloggers that were given with free tickets used someone’s name to cheat their way to the stage during autograph session to take photos! Only those authorised with special pass could go up, even us with pass didn’t go up because there were too many people on the stage. This had caused dissatisfactions to the organiser and you had caused unwanted inconveniences to the person that gave you the tickets.

You people know who you are. Therefore, I don’t think there will be anymore free tickets given out in near future. We will just close the invitation to several bloggers that we will pick randomly to have special access provided we will still be given the opportunity to do so. No more giving out some free tickets to others to watch the show and later cheat their way tru’ with someone’s name to gain access into prohibited zone. I doubt these people read my blogs anyway. Don’t blame us for not giving out free tickets to anything in near future because those minority had screwed the chance for other bloggers.

Congrates to today winners for the 2nd(left) and 3rd(right) riddles. Photos from Minex Jewellery. I just found out that the one who found the second treasure is my friend’s girlfriend! OMG! All kaki lang ;p Serious! There’s no cheating going on! Everyone worked their arse out to hunt for all these.

This is my 1200th post.

🙁 What’s not yours is not yours, hoping so much for it won’t do you any good. I hereby declare that I’m 70% giving up on the hunt. YAY! I’m sure you are very very happy because you got one less competitor. Another thing is that because I’m having my exam this weekend and it means I’m not hunting on Sunday and Saturday. Not only that, my partner in crime isn’t interested anymore that makes me loss all the mood for it, doing it alone isn’t fun and not easy.

Furthermore, I have to concentrate on my exam rather than cracking my head solving the riddle. The “morning call”(the riddle) everyday is making me wake up early every morning, you know I seldom wake up at 8am+ everyday (just in case I manage to solve it so I can dash out immediately to get the treasure, that’s why I wake up early to wait and prepare a bit). On usual days, I won’t be out of my room until 10am! ;p I can actually go back to sleep after posting it via my Twitter but it’s so tempting to crack the riddle until I’m all high and no longer want to sleep! Hehehe… No… No… No… Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, It’s kinda fun. It’s just not fun when you are always so close and got nothing.

1. The launch, so close… Specs, specs, specs!

2. Edwin shared the information with me, telling me he couldn’t find anything at Friendship Park. He was so close… He was at Friendship Park around 9am+ but didn’t look for rubbish instead looking for animals ;p

3. Jimmy was just outside 5Loaves Cafe and he didn’t go in to search! It’s his first stop summore! As we remember this place is where we always meet Ron when we thought of Jalan Keretapi. See la! Damn close!

4. Edwin told me it should be Padang Merdeka and we discussed it over the phone while he scoured the place. It’s found already by Jesselyn and sis! I did think of the big trees at Padang Merdeka but didn’t tell him earlier coz when I thought of it, he’s on duty already.

One thing I don’t understand is why people actually discuss and give clues so openly? *LOL* If you know, you should just share among your closed ones instead of out in the public ;p However, it’s a good way to draw traffic hehehe… Justin, you have to thank your readers for being so “open” *LOL*

I know I shouldn’t give up so easily but oh well… If one day it’s really meant for me, it will be mine, I’ll just go with the flow. I’m FRUST now!(according to Cyril) Hahaha… Good luck all you hunters out there.

Last but not least ;p I’m vain again… Even though I’m frust, I still have the mood to be vain, NAH!

Oh ya.. One more thing, I got a comment saying that I’m always looking for free lunch/gifts, *LOL* I know I always said that if only people can sponsor me and so on which indirectly give impression on people that I want things for free. The fact is that there is no free lunch in this world la wei! If people want to give me free things, of course I’m happy to have it BUT there is always something you must give back in return. There’s no such thing as free. Hahaha… I’m not angry but it really tickled me when I saw the comment.

So… No need to hunt today anymore, it’s found. You better save ur energy and strategies for tomorrow.
