On Monday, it’s a public holiday here, we went to Victor Harbor. YAY! Finally!
It’s about 1 1/2 hour drive from Adelaide. It was cloudy, not a very good day to go to the beach but who cares?!?! It’s a holiday, must not miss the chance. At least a trip to somewhere. Was supposed to go to Murray Bridge last Wednesday but car rental was too expensive -.-” We need cheap holiday! Wanted to go Kangaroo Island but too expensive; wanted to go to Cleland Wildlife Park but some friends not keen. At the end, no plan for the long weekend. Luckily this trip came along, impromptu!
Finally we’re here. The other group of friends wasn’t there yet. So we just walk around.
Then decided to had lunch. Picnic! All the food was cooked by my friends after our hotpot session, basically all the leftovers ;p My very first time picnic in Australia.
We walked to the island…
Here we are! Granite Island Kaiki. Camwhored!
The views… Beware of penguins crossing *LOL* Give way to them!
You can see penguins here but need to pay. Suddenly, we, the girls, were dupped as penguins by the guys in our group hahaha… Before this, I’m already being called a penguin! ;p Someone just like to call me that because he said I’m cute, small, with black hair and sometimes waddle when I walked! Oh well… I guess what left is just memory.
The Aussies! The guys are all more than 190cm! The tallest 202cm!
Left: Seal spotted! It was quite faraway but it’s lucky for me to see one.
Right: Australia’s first ever breakwater. It was awesome!
Need to stand there for quite awhile to get the photo. Timing has to be right too. It’s also known as the Bridal Spray. There was bigger one but I gave up waiting hehehe… The other went on the wave breaker but I didn’t. In fact I was not feeling that comfortable with the waves, it sent shivers down my spine. Those who knows will know why. Those who don’t then it’s related to something long time ago that had affected me till now.
Next, we went for Kaiki Walk. Amazing views!
It was so cold and windy! Well… It’s already autumn, what to expect? Brrr…
After Victor Harbor, we headed to Horseshoe Bay.
