The name sounds interesting and cute don’t you think so?
Went there for a drink with some friends few days ago. Toast Bar is located at Brighton Square. As the name suggested it, they served various kind toasts, cakes, local cuisine and more. They have quite a lot of selection there and some of them looked very interesting. Might go to the place again some day to try out some of the fruit toasts.
The interior looked very classy with that kind of wallpaper and white furniture.
We only ordered drinks ;p So… No food to share. Mountain Dew, Barley Lemon, Ribena Sprite, and Horlick. I don’t remember the prices but let just say that it’s pretty standard just like any other places that served such food.
Most of these stores in Kuching only look good and stay clean for a few weeks. After that they start to fall apart real fast . The reason: Food and service may be good the first few weeks, then everything goes to hell, chair and table and floor become dirty and sticky, flies start to buzz around, cook and servers lost interests and become rude and unkempt. Most times they think they can be succesful and make money if they charged a few dollars more and cut corner at the same time. THIS NEVER WORKS. If they want to charge more, the food quality must be very good.
RC, that’s why Kuching is so unique *LOL*
hmm..i use to pass through that place but never enter XD might try if you said it’s nice 😀
Hi Irene, wonder why they named it that, ha ha. I guess lots of toasting or yam sengs going on.
Looks like a nice place to go for iced coffee.
You have a nice day, Lee.
theeggyolks, I did hear some complaints here and there about the service, food wise, I didn’t try yet but my friend said that the fruit toast is quite nice.
Uncle Lee, hahaha… The name is quite catchy in way that makes people wonder.
