Singapore Chicken Rice @ Hock Lee Shopping Centre

Posted on March 5, 2011 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Singapore Chicken Rice @ Hock Lee Shopping Centre

Didn’t realize Singapore Chicken Rice opened a new branch at Hock Lee Shopping Centre until my dad told me about it. When I found out, it’s still under renovation.

Last Sunday, we went there for dinner. Since the place is still so new, it’s so clean and nice. The interior is so different and colourful.

Left: We sat at this section.

Right: If not mistaken, this is Mixed vegetables. Not sure of the price and exact name, didn’t bother to keep track, I was pretty blur that day.

As usual, chicken rice…

Left: Steamed chicken rice.

Right: Roasted chicken rice.

Left: Mushroom noodle, it’s on the sweeter note, the more I ate the sweeter and saltier it got.

Right: Dumpling chicken noodle, didn’t expect to get a bowl of dumpling soup. The char siew is chicken not pork, don’t worry, SCR is halal.

We go to SCR a lot if you notice. Whenever we couldn’t think of a place to eat, we’ll just settle our lunch/dinner there.

Hi Irene, I love the chicken rice at Mandarin Hotel’s Chatterbox. Used to eat there every other week too.
Love this dish, especially if the chilli sauce is good.
    Have fun and enjoy.
    Lee.

Uncle Lee, yes… the chili must be good, it’ll make or break the chicken rice.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
