Pizza & More

Posted on March 24, 2009March 25, 2009 By sweet surrender 6 Comments on Pizza & More

Always wanted to go there for months and finally got the chance for it. It was our first time there. It’s quite empty in there. The ambiance is nice, I like it but just a bit stuffy, maybe they didn’t on all the air-cons. It’s located at Jalan Abell, same row as Air Asia. Very easy to find.

Left: It’s ex-Italiano. I’ve never been to Italiano but I think the interior should be the same.

Right: Ice Black Tea, Lemon flavour (RM2.30), it tasted like ice lemon tea ;p The other drink is Ice Milo with no sugar (RM4).

Left: White Coffee (RM2.50)

Right: The pizza we ordered! two thumbs up! LOVE IT! This is Pinnochio (RM19.80), Margherita topped with mushrooms, anchovies, turkey ham and pepperoni. The portion can be shared among 3-4 people or 1-2 people if you’re big eater.

Left: Beef Lagsana (RM16.80), topped with minced beef, cheese, tomatoes and cream. You can share this also depending on how many people you are dining with. 3-4 people is just nice if you don’t want to eat too full and want to try out other things.

Right: Fish & Chips (RM12.80), nothing much to rave for this.

Four of us dined there and we split the cost. Frankly, I don’t like to order individual food for own consumption, I prefer sharing. This way, you can save some cost and you can try more food. Well… Provided those that you go with are not picky eaters and are open to try anything.

We spent RM60.20 last night. No 5% GST.

I’m not sure this place is halal or not.

Here’s the contact and opening hours.

Quite a nice place to go and the food is good.

I’m not sure it’s the same management or not but the food they serve is definitely the same type of cuisine.

have to complain a bit, the “fish and chip” is very tasteless, and very usual. Seems likes eveybody only know using bread crum to fried it. It is not attractive at all.

lee, that’s fish and chip, it’s like that. The only difference it’s the freshness that’s it.

No!, you can say is like that, “if so, means fish only can fried by coated with bread crumb ” the fish chip can be various way of making it, so far i know is grille, another option for it. They shouldn’t always just only deep fried with bread crumb, and yet, bread crumb also tasteless. a tasteless bread crumb with a tasteless fish…how bad is it!

Lee, Fish & Chip is the dish name that is internationally recognised in cooking it this way, coat with bread crumbs and fried. It’s just a matter of how fresh the fish is and how well the bread crumbs is coated and special ingredients that the cook decide to put into the batter to make the bread crumbs tastes different. You don’t get Fish & Chips whereby the fish is being cook using other method anywhere you go in the world.

If the fish is grilled is no longer known as Fish & Chip. If it’s grilled, it’s called by some other name, not Fish & Chip anymore. It’s the same as fried chicken, if the chicken is grilled, you cannot called fried chicken anymore.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
