Back by popular demand. This was taken on Valentine’s eve somewhere in Kuching. Obviously it’s before my haircut. Means this is not my latest photos.

Are you seeing double?
I guess you won’t be seeing any of my vain photos for awhile after this.

Happy Chap Goh Mei! This marks the last day of CNY. Time is flying so fast! February is almost over in no time. The fireworks tonight is much much much more happening than CNY’s eve and any other days of CNY. I guess it’s the clear weather and also to clear stock.
On this day, I went to cut my hair. It’s been quite a long time not cutting my hair this short ;p

The last time I cut my hair was about 6 months ago but it seemed like still the same. Now, cut it again. It’ll be shorter after my next hair wash, this is just salon effect.
Usually I only cut my hair once a year. I have to cut this short because I won’t be cutting it until June 2012 *LOL* By then, my hair should be over my waist.
Enjoy the last day of CNY!
Finally! The end of my Singapore trip post. We went straight to the airport after checking out because the flight was around noon.

Had brunch at Burger King in Changi Airport. As usual, ordered the burger set but I don’t remember what we had ordered.

We also ordered Mexican Drumlets and Taro Turnover. The former was slightly spicy and a bit salty but not so bad. The later wasn’t bad too, nice!

There you go… I was surprised, my first time saw all-male crews on board. Usually it’s a mixture of males and females or all-female crews.
Home we went… Love the view of the mountain.
The end.
Continue from previous post about food we had on our last night in Singapore.

Before heading back to the hotel, we stopped by MOS Burger to try out one of the burgers.

Left: Hokkaido Milk Ice Cream (SGD2.75, this price was only valid with ordering of set). Ordered matcha flavour. Taste, it tasted as it should.
Right: Green Salad (SGD2.20).

Grilled Chicken Burger with Orange-Pepper Sauce (SGD3.35). Saw the advert on TV a lot. Finally got the chance to try it. Aiks… The size was so mini. Felt cheated by the advertisement ;p For this burger, the taste wasn’t up to my expectation. It’s a let down for me.

After resting in the hotel room and eating those food we had bought on the way back, we went out again. This time to the food court at Bugis Junction, Food Junction. The place was always packed. Went there few times(2 years ago no place to sit too, then first day in Singapore also no place to sit too) but could not find a place. Walked few rounds and finally found a place.
Ordered Buddha Jumps over the Wall, don’t remember the price. According to my dad, the taste was totally different compared to the time he was there. Only about 2 weeks later, the taste changed -.-” The one we had that night tasted like there’s salted fish in the soup.

After that, we stopped by Toast @ Work for chui kueh. Not the kind that we like especially the toppings but the kueh itself wasn’t that bad.
Last time, Kuching used to have very good one which could be found at Sunday Market but the lady no longer doing the business and her daughter could not master her skill, it’s gone totally. So there’s no more decent chui kueh anymore. Nowadays, mostly it’s not watery and silky enough. The toppings also could make or break this kueh.

Next, we went around window shopping in Bugis Junction. Before heading back to the hotel, we bought a cup of gelato (SGD4.50) at Gelateria Venezia. The yellow one was butterscotch(buttery sweet) and the pink one was raspberry(sourish). These two were not a good combination, made wrong decision *LOL* Could not taste both of them properly because of the combination.
That’s all for our day 3. Welcoming 2011 in the hotel room packing, watching TV and online. My parents and bro were asleep. I was the only one stayed up but called it a night before 12.30am because had to wake up early to go to the airport.

Few days ago, my cousin treated us for a dinner at Tarot Salmon Japanese Restaurant. It’s my first time there even though its opened for business for quite a long time already. I seldom dine out now because of money issue hahaha…

There were 5 of us, we ordered green tea. It’s free flow. RM7.50 for 5 persons.

Left: Yaki Udon(RM9.90), it’s too sweet for my liking.
Right: Agedashi Taufu(RM6.90), not bad but a bit too sweet and salty for me.
I was having stuffy nose and blocked ears. My taste buds weren’t very receptive these days but the two food we had were so flavourful to me. This means the flavours were much stronger than what I had tasted. Well… Maybe it’s just me as I’m not the kind that like heavily seasoned food.

Left: Unagi Sushi(RM5.90), Tako sushi(RM5.90), Ebiko Inari(RM5.90), Chuka Hotate Gunkan(RM4.90), Chuka Kurage Gunkan(RM4.90), Unagi Special Maki-8 pieces(RM19.90).
Right: Sashimi Mori Toro(RM26.90). No salmon available that day. There’s supposed to be salmon for this dish but due to that, no salmon. There should be 14 slices of sashimi but we only had 13 slices. We complained, they made it up by offering a side dish free of charge. Forgot to take photo of the dish, it’s baby octopus.
Anyway, I put a bit too high expectation on the place. Personally I think there’s better place for Japanese food.
