Collection of Food I Cooked in Adelaide (5)

Posted on June 11, 2011June 11, 2011 By sweet surrender No Comments on Collection of Food I Cooked in Adelaide (5)

Finally got some time to do this post. There’s quite a gap in this post, I in this collection because I didn’t do any cooking that time because there’s people who cooked for me.

Left: 15/4/2011, lunch. Microwaved chicken wing marinated with salt and pepper (ignore the hair ;p) and iceberg lettuce with butter rice.

Right: 14/4/2011, dinner. Butter rice with with Heinz Big’ n Chunky Flaming Chicken served with iceberg salad.

Left: 16/4/2011, lunch. Sweet chilli tuna stir fried with French bean and Carrot rice.

Right: 16/4/2011, dinner. Fried rice with bok choy and carrot. The seasoning for the fried rice was garlic, soy and honey sauce.

Left: 18/4/2011, lunch. Fried noodle with sweet chili tuna and red and green capsicum.

Right: 19/4/2011, dinner. Leftover taco from dinner the other night. I didn’t cook, it was my friend who bought the taco set and just added in beef. I had it with iceberg salad. Anyway… I modified the leftover for my next day dinner.

Left: 20/4/2011, dinner. Heated up the taco filling leftover and dump in my rice. Mixed them well in the pot and served hot. Quite nice.

Right: 21/4/2011, lunch. Noodle in seaweed soup with tomato and egg.

Left: 22/4/2011, lunch. Fried noodle with red and green capsicum and carrot. The sauce was garlic, soy and honey sauce. My microwaved chicken wings was overcooked ;p No idea how long and used too high heat and too long cooking time. Marinated with chicken stock, salt, pepper, garlic, soy and honey sauce.

Right: 26/4/2011, lunch. Stir fried vegetables with microwaved chicken wings. Same marinate used except this time not overcook ;p

Left: 28/4/2011, lunch. I got lazy, just did a quick one, white bread with blanched carrot and iceberg lettuce dressed with sweet chili and a cup of instant corn soup.

Right: 29/4/2011, lunch. Oriental fried rice, it’s just from the packet. I added in mixed vegetables only. I’ll have some posts about some of the ingredients I used some other time such as the canned food or instant rice mix and more.

Left: 30/4/2011, lunch. Noodle in seaweed soup with carrot and chicken meat.

Right: 1/5/2011, dinner. Leftover oriental fried rice and two slices of leftover Hot Mexican pizza. Apparently the rice was undercooked ;p I didn’t have enough water when cooking it hehehe…

There you go… More coming when I have the luxury of time. Exam in about 20 days. Done with my assignments. Now have to get into the mood of revision.

Ducray Anaphase Stimulating Cream Shampoo for Devitalized Hair

Posted on June 9, 2011June 9, 2011 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Ducray Anaphase Stimulating Cream Shampoo for Devitalized Hair

I got this quite awhile ago, it’s a sample. The packaging seems very medical and boring. It won’t make me want to buy or even try it. However, when I came to Adelaide, I brought it along with me because it’s small and some how I need to use it so that I don’t have to spend money in buying shampoo here ;p.

I used it for about 2-3 weeks(once every 2 days) and differences can be felt right away after wash! OMG! I was blown away, I didn’t even need any conditioner. My hair was so soft and manageable, it didn’t even tangle.

Highly recommend this for anyone who want something really effective for their dull and unmangeable hair. Less hair fall too. What’s more, only need to use this, no need conditioner at all even though it recommends you to use your usual hair treatment product after hair wash with this. If your hair is really in need of desperate help, maybe you might want to use your usual treatment products for better result.

The Anaphase cream shampoo is the perfect complement to the anti-hair fall treatment (nutricious lotion and complement)thanks to its original formula containing tocopherol Nicotinate, and GP4G.

This patented association of active ingredients stimulates the scalp microcirculation and brings the hair bulb cells the necessary energizing elements for their metabolism.

Two thumbs up for me for the result but packaging wise it’s two thumbs down.

Subway @ Hindley Street, Adelaide

Posted on June 6, 2011June 6, 2011 By sweet surrender No Comments on Subway @ Hindley Street, Adelaide

Happy Duan Wu Jie!

Finally got the chance to have Subway sandwich. Never thought of trying it out in KL and Singapore because I’m not a sandwich fan.

Everytime I walked past it from my apartment to Rundle Mall, it’s just few shops away from my apartment, the smell would greet me. It’s smell is so distinct that you know Subway is nearby.

The one here is chicken fillet (if I recall correctly) 6 INCH Sub because I did not make the order, I only made the choice on the wholemeal bread. It’s about AUD6+. Imagine convert it back to Ringgit, almost RM20 for a sandwich, WAH! Go figure *LOL* I wouldn’t pay RM20 for a sandwich ;p Well… Of course I cannot calculate like this, it’s just insane.

Subway does good sandwich! YUM! I should have gone for it earlier in KL and Singapore. Now… I’m getting a hang of sandwich especially from Subway but it’s a once in a blue moon thing. Can’t afford to have it always until I have a job.

Education Expo 2011 @ Adelaide Entertainment Centre

Posted on June 4, 2011 By sweet surrender 3 Comments on Education Expo 2011 @ Adelaide Entertainment Centre

Finally I have Internet again at home but now with another provider. Previous one has good line but it’s quite expensive, so I switched to another service provider hoping it would be better but it’s quite unstable. Oh well… Just gonna live with it, it’s a year contract, that’s the best I can with the budget I have.

Only now I manage to update this event, Education Expo 2011. It happened last weekend at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

The School Education Expoâ„¢ is an award-winning community event which showcases everything educational for school years.

Just went there to have a look. It’s been awhile not going to events.

Spent about 1 hour there.

Managed to catch a performance there. I have the videos. Will upload it when I’m free.

Admission is free. I got a badge ;p I drew and I made it with the badge making machine. Didn’t know what to draw, just simple drew something.

That’s all for now. Need to go back to my assignments.

Hey there! How’s Gawai celebration back home? Must be having a lot of fun huh? Weekend is coming soon.

This post is composed using HTCHD7, the IE browser instead of using the WordPress App.

Have been pretty busy doing assignments this week, guess will be quite busy until exam in less than a month. Another presentation next week.

Applied for 2 jobs this week. Got reply from one just now, I’m shortlisted for the interview next week, gonna be exciting, my very first formal interview in Adelaide, hopefully can get the job, it’s going to be something different even though it’s casual job. As for the other one, it’s part-time job and was told to call them when I’m ready to work because I can only start in July.

Anyway, back to work on my assignments.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
