So, there it is. What thought to be true love and the one is no longer what it was.
End of another chapter, very short but sweet. I appreciate every moment of it.
It hurts but what to do? What’s yours will be yours no matter what.

Went to Bukit Mata Seafood at Stutong One Jaya for dinner with my family. It’s the same owner of one of the seafood stalls at Top Spot Bukit Mata except this one at One Jaya is halal.

Left: Paku stir fried with garlic.
Right: Mani Cai with egg, Japanese tofu with don’t-know-what *LOL*.

Left: O-jien. Extremely huge!
Right: Don’t remember what type of fish we had. In general, it’s steamed fish. Not nice…
I’m not sure of the total price, I wasn’t the one paying. Not the best seafood I had. Everything just didn’t taste nice that night. I guess it’s because I was in a rush and didn’t get to savour the food properly.
Bintawa Kueh Chap, my must-have when I went back. Tried going there 2 times and both times they’re closed *LOL*. Wrong timing. Finally managed to eat it on my last night in Kuching phew…

They had moved to a new place, no longer at Bintawa. It’s now located at Jalan Keranji at Tabuan Jaya. The shop near the apartment there. Here’s the address: No.1310, Lot 7719, Jalan Keranji, Tabuan Jaya.
I felt that the portion was a bit small this time. Price and the taste still maintained though.
Noodle Descendents is not really a new place but it just moved from its old location at Bishopgat to Padungan recently, not far from the famous Kuching white cat statue. Always long queue and the wait is always very long.

I managed to try it out and waited for almost an hour. Mind you, there’s no queue some more and we had to share table. This place is famous for its kolo mee and pork soup since 1957. We usually bought it home instead of dining there when it was at its old place. This is our first time dining in this new location.

After a loooong wait… By the way, that’s not the actual serve of the noodle ;p too hungry, forgot to take photo of it. This green bowl is actually the extra bowl for me to share with my parents as I’m not a kolo mee eater, I can’t finish a bowl myself hehehe…
So there you go… One of the longest serving eateries in Kuching. Prepare to wait for a long long time.
If not mistaken, Ayam Tulang Lunak is a rather new eatery in Kuching. Located as Wisma Ho Ho Lim.

Very easy to locate, same row as Air Asia office.

Left: Ayam Bakar (RM8)
Right: Ayam Penyet (RM8.50)
Overall, maybe it’s just me. I’m disappointed again in terms of taste and presentation. However, the place is quite clean.
Oh why oh why? How come almost all of the new eateries these days lack in these aspects? Even people like me who are rather easy going and do not ask for too much can have such impression, then it would be even worst with those critical people that fuss about even the smallest details.
Anyway, hopefully these new eateries can improve or risk closing down in no time!
