Moo’s Year Fireworks & Traffic

Posted on January 26, 2009January 27, 2009 By sweet surrender 10 Comments on Moo’s Year Fireworks & Traffic

I don’t know what was wrong with Kuching people yesterday until the clock striked 12am. Maybe no money to buy more fireworks? Or there isn’t any mood to celebrate? The “war” started at around 11.40pm and ended at around 12.15am. Weird… Usually not until 12.30am, it won’t stop.

They started early and ended early. Even so, it’s still not that many as it used to. There weren’t special fireworks this year, all the boring type.

Enjoy your CNY!

I just got back from a friend house and I don’t understand, why is almost everyone driving so fast today?!?! Don’t you ever heard of “biar lambat, asalkan selamat”? It means it’s all right to be slow, as long that you reach your destination safely. Majority were driving at the speed of at least 80km/h -.-” Coz I’m driving around 60-80km/h just now and many kept overtaking me and zoomed passed me. Gosh… What is wrong with you people??!?!? Why drive so fast? The money god is leaving is it? It’s more like you are chasing the god of death.

Still the photos you took look amazing…

and I am guessing the ministries crackdown on fireworks kind of lacked the ‘war’..

cdason, thanks for the compliments, simply take only. nuh~ Don’t think so. I think most likely is the economy’s fault.

Er.. since returning from the West. I’m not used to the speed here in Kuching. LOL! I usually drive 80-90km/h (considered average speed in my time in the West) 😛

If i were among those who zoomed past u.. Sorry ya.. Happy new year!

80-90km/h still OK… I got reach till that also on some roads, but those people are much faster than that. They are beyond that. Zipped in zipped out summore.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
