Planning to post this later but I guess should post it earlier to preserve its freshness *LOL*. When I was in KL last month end, I stayed at Cititel Mid Valley. It’s a 3-star hotel. Nothing much to expect anyway.
The room and bathroom wasn’t too small. It was all right for 2 people. Not too bad. Clean too.
However, who would expect this? I only stayed there for 2 nights. The next day, I was surprised with birthday cake and cards by the hotel. It was sent to my friend’s room. Then, my friend intercom us saying that she’s coming to our room to look for us. When I opened the door, she started singing Happy Birthday. I thought she was pulling my leg or it was my roommate’s, who knows… It’s for me according to the card -.-” We were all rather shocked because it wasn’t my birthday that day and my birthday was early in the month, it was over already. It was already month end that time. Then, we figured they might have track it based on the month.
It was so nice of them to shower their guests with such surprise. Not many hotels are doing this. Most doing it on the actual day itself. What’s more, it’s just a 3-star hotel. Service beyond the stars? I’m impressed.
The choice of food in the restaurant was quite delicious and had many varieties. Our rooms had breakfast included. We also did order room service and the food was very delicious too.
The location of the hotel is very convenient as KTM stop is there at Mid Valley so you can easily have access to the city center. The Shopping malls are just next to each other too.
So, if you are looking somewhere to stay when you’re in KL, this one can be considered if your budget permits.
Hi Irene, looks very comfortable that room…looks more 4 star too. I love the pastel colours.
Irene, this just a thought….have you thought of changing your this blog with regards to the comment box.
Why I say this is that every time someone wants to put a comment, has to not only write name, address, URL, as well count fingers arithmetic test, ha ha.
Then the security to get thru.
Anyway, just a thought.
Have a nice day.
Lee.
Uncle Lee, in fact you don’t even have to key in the URL. I can’t change it too, the platform programmed it like that. All you need is just your name and e-mail address to ensure that you are already in my approved list, then I don’t have to approve your comment every single time.
Just like you, I filter my comment, if the person is not in my list, the comment won’t be published. Once I accepted his/her comment, he/she will be able to post directly in the future.
While for the math, it’s to deter robot from sending spam to me. So, only human can interact with me.
A person’s e-mail and name can be hijacked by the bots and can be used to send spam, so with the math part, it will deter spam from getting to me. This is the best way to stop spam, it has been helping to stop spams all these years. I tried deactivated it before and holy smoke! Just in one hour alone, I can get at least 10 spam comments, imagine in 24 hours? Can delete like crazy. I tried other type before, all not working at all, there’s still spams every few hours. So I will have to stick to this.
Thanks for coming by 😉
Nice, I stayed there all the time, but never got any cake 🙁
ez vina, hmmm… maybe on you’re not there on your birthday month? Or maybe they just started.
