Customize Your Military Tag

Was fortunate enough to be given with a military tag for review few weeks back. What is this?!?! Frankly, I didn’t know what it’s for, all I know is that it is a tag which the military men wear on their neck for identification purpose but I didn’t see the point of us having it. After doing a bit of research, it’s pretty versatile I must say.



This is what I got. You can customize it with your own photo, choose the chain and rubber silencer colour that you want. I’ve got no idea what’s the rubber for hahaha… When I opened the package, I was wondering hard on what it’s for *LOL* My mom hook it this way. I didn’t suspect anything wrong as I was still trying to figure out its usage, also didn’t notice what it’s for even after referring to the website, malaysiamilitarytag.com. I’m just too slow to realize ;p


It’s hard to decide what to put for the photo. I ended up using this photo I took back in December 2012 at Lake Tekapo, New Zealand. The best scenery I’ve ever seen.

At the back, you can customize your own message and I had chosen some motivational quotes. Come to think of it, I should instead have the date and location of the photo I’ve taken as a remembrance. Oh well… Doesn’t matter.


This is the correct way to use the round rubber thing, the rubber silencer!

Seeing and holding it physically, it’s pretty durable even though it’s very light in weight. According to the seller, it can last 15 years.

So what can you do with a military tag?
1. Key chain
2. Luggage tag
3. Necklace/Pendent (as fashion statement)
4. ID tag (emergency information, medical purpose, tag for your pet and so on)
5. Souvenir

So… What should I do with mine? Suggestions?

Kate Slim Gel Pencil

Kate Slim Gel Pencil (RM44) is a twist-up gel pencil liner. Got this last year June and finally opened it to use.


The tip is very fine and easily glide on. The colour is intense enough. It’s easy to use, no tugging at all. Even with shaky hand, you won’t get it all messy, a fine line can be achieved without any problem. Drawing on the waterline or lash line is a breeze.

A great eyeliner if it doesn’t smudge. On my lash line, it didn’t smudge that bad; but it smudged easily on my waterline. The liner is waterproof but no claim of being smudge proof. I had two and gave one to my sister. It smudged on her too.

By the way, once you twisted it out, you cannot retract it anymore. So be sure to only twist what you need.

Will I go back to it? I don’t think so unless it is both water and smudge proof. However, I might still go back to Kate to try the others.

I’ve been wearing contact lens for more than 10 years. Most of the time, I’m using monthly disposable lens. Only when I go traveling I would use daily disposable lens because it’s just too bulky to bring that big bottle of solution. Tried one brand before but it was quite drying.


This time, I was offered to try daily disposable lens from CooperVision.


My verdict…

I work in air-conditioned environment and looking at the computer quite a lot every day. This lens is so comfortable. Towards the end of the day, it is still comfortable enough. Normally my eyes would feel dry even just after few hours of wearing daily disposable lens. CooperVision Biomedics 1 day Extra claims that it allows comfortable wear of lens up to 11 hours and with 55% of water content. It does live up to its claim.

Normally, daily disposable lens is quite flimsy and quite hard to wear as I always got it upside down, it’s hard to differentiate. However, CooperVision is quite sturdy and can easily differentiate whether it’s upside down or not. Hence, it is very easy to insert and felt nothing. Don’t have to worry about tearing it too which I’ve been tearing some from other brand no matter how gentle I handled them.

I highly recommend it. If you are looking into changing the brand of your daily disposable lens or want to switch to daily disposable lens from monthly disposable lens, do try this out. Worry about wasting money if it’s not suitable? No worries! Go sign up for the FREE trial.

It’s not easy to find facial wash that is suitable for me as I easily get red patches, be it itchy or not, after washing my face. I found one from Eucerin but it does not really solve my problem, red patches still developed sometimes. However, not Naruko Narcissus DNA Repairing Foaming Wash. In fact, I was looking for Eucerin but strangely that branch of Watsons did not carry Eucerin brand… I ended up trying my luck with Naruko DNA Narcissus Repairing Foaming Wash (120ml). I don’t remember how much, it’s below RM30 if not mistaken.

This is a Taiwanese brand. Not new, it’s been while. If you watch the Taiwanese beauty show, Queen, then I’m sure you will know who is the founder.

Why I ended buying it after going tru’ the other range of Naruko products? Simply because it’s the cheapest I could find hahaha… Also with anti-aging and moisturizing properties.

After washing my face, my face didn’t feel dry or tight. Instead, it felt clean, comfortable, soft to touch and no allergy reaction too! The smell is quite refreshing.

However, you have to dispense a lot, at least about 1cm to get it to foam. Usually I used less than this for other facial foam. Anyway, it’s not a big deal. The foam is very fine and luxurious.

I’m happy with this purchase. Definitely will stick to this… I think… HAHAHA… Knowing me, I seldom stick to one brand, always like to experiment with new products. We’ll see…

I bought Bourjois Paris 54 Rose Frisson (£7.99) in the UK on my previous trip.


The smell is a bit overwhelming for me.

The colour is awesome, texture is silky smooth but staying power is disappointing. Constant touch-up is required.

Love this little pot with the inbuilt mirror. However, I don’t like the brush just rest on top of it. Can be a bit messy.

I think this is my shortest review ever. As simple as that. 😉
