Raya Visiting 2009

Yesterday I went to one of my classmates’ house with my classmates for Raya visiting. Let’s see the food we had yesterday.

Left: Settled our lunch at the same time before going to sing karaoke ;p

Right: A type of muruku that we always have in class.

Some tidbits, cuttlefish and another type of muruku.

Some cookies, butter cookies(I think…) and kueh mangkit(made from sago).

Left: Cheese cookies.

Right: Tiers of kuih lapis Sarawak. Haven’t refill yet. If I’m not mistaken, those colourful ones with various patterns or motifs are known as kuih/kek lapis Sarawak or kuih/kek batik Sarawak.

So colourful! Can you see how many types? No prize though…

Summary of Raya 2009

Finally got time to sit down to update. Was out the whole day.

Left: 12pm-2pm, spent at my classmate’s house with my other classmates somewhere at Petra Jaya. We had set a time to meet there so we got more time to “gossip” ;p. Last year was a chaos, everyone went at different time and when one came, one left, there’s no chance to sit down to have fun. Didn’t take group photo last year coz the host was busy, this year we finally got the chance.

Right: Then after that, headed to K11 to sing karaoke. Only 4 of us! Supposed to be 8 of us. The session was supposed to be 12pm-8pm but we only reached at about 2pm+. Still had lots of time to sing since there’s only 4 of us. First time singing K with these girls and first time sing without a single guy.

Duan Wu Jie 2009

It’s that time of the year again. Chang Festival or also known as duan wu jie in Chinese. Want to know what it’s all about, you can check out my previous post about it.

Actually I’m running out of thing to blog but should have more after my exam. Busy preparing for my exam and there’s so many theories and “big words” this semester ARG! Can’t seem to memorize them well without referring.

Quite busy today. Went to tHe Spring for some food tasting since noon at the going to be opened soon eatery then after that stuffed myself again at tHe Spring Food Bazaar. I’m think I’ve been eating for almost 3 hours straight from one place to another ;p. Thanks for the treat.

Time to go back to memorize and memorize again, too many “big words” to remember aih…

tHe Spring Spring & Summer Fashion Show 2009 – La Primavera

Finally! The final post of tHe Spring Spring & Summer Fashion Show 2009. In other words… I’m running out of things to blog already! HELP! ;p

Anyway… Lots of photos ahead. Since La Primavera is all about footwears and bags, I’m trying to focus on these rather than the models. Hope you enjoy the series. I quite like the colour for this series compare to previous ones.

tHe Spring Spring & Summer Fashion Show 2009 – Diesel & Renoma

After getting high and excited from the Xixili show, it’s time to lower down the blood pressure and slow down the racing heart *LOL* The next show was by Diesel and Renoma.

Some was expecting the male models would be parading in underwear since Renoma is more well-known for its underwear. Sad to disappoint you, there’s no men clad in underwear to see ;p

Nothing much but just casual wears. That’s all.

I can never find Diesel jeans that fits me and for the record and I’ve never purchase anything from Renoma.

Hate the glare from the top. Almost all my photos for this show were kinda ruin by the light from the top there. Some were OK with the help of flashes from the DSLRs’ speedlights but most of the time I was not that lucky.
