Qing Ming 2010

Posted on April 4, 2010April 4, 2010 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on Qing Ming 2010

Tomorrow will the actual day of Qing Ming. Many people went to the graves today because it’s a Sunday and tomorrow is a working day.
We also went today, this morning. Usually we left at about 6am or before that but this year we were quite late. The mist was quite thick. We left at 6.30am and there were already many people busy cleaning and praying.

I forgot my phone so didn’t take any photo. However, I couldn’t resist it when I saw the sun ray. Check out the photo. I know it’s not that obvious but it was very nice sun ray. I asked my brother to take the photo. Few minutes later, my brother thought of taking a better one but no more such ray could be seen. The sun had shifted.

Life is short, just like the sun ray. Appreciate what you have now before it’s too late.

1st, 2nd Day and 3rd Day of CNY

Posted on February 16, 2010February 16, 2010 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on 1st, 2nd Day and 3rd Day of CNY

First day… I stayed at home the whole day, nothing much to do. Was so bored until I almost fell asleep. Usually I would go to my friend’s house in the afternoon but not this year. Since my friend was having open house on 2nd day so might as well go on 2nd day.

It’s a good thing I went there late. Supposed to go there early. I managed to take pictures of lion dance. If I went earlier, I might leave earlier and miss it.

Stayed there for almost 6 hours *LOL* Just to meet these people -.-” I spent time waiting for them. This year we do not organize group visiting like we used to. Every year, less and less people joining the group visiting. Everyone is too busy with their own agenda so really don’t see the point of doing it anymore.

Besides, feeling pretty lazy this year too… Wonder why?

Today… Just stayed at home the whole day during the day muching junk food in front of the laptop, playing games and watch Gery’s Anatomy. At night, went out for dinner with my family at Marrybrown, Hills Shopping Mall. I’m supposed to have a plan with some friends today but no news about it.

As for tomorrow… Hmm… Maybe will just drop by any friend that is at home. There might be a party to go to tomorrow? Not sure about that yet, no news about it.

Posted on February 13, 2010February 13, 2010 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Happy Chinese New Year 2010

First of all, just to let you know I didn’t make it to the top 3 of tHe Ambassador Hunt finale. Sorry to disappoint all of you. If I did, I will be blogging about it now ;p Will blog about it in detailed maybe tomorrow or in few more days.

Anyway, would like to wish all my readers a very Happy Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai! First day of CNY is tomorrow. Nothing much, will just stay at home. It’s also Valentine’s Day but it means nothing to me. Whatever…

This photo was taken this morning after the makeup at Stage for the finale 😉 Can you see that even my dressing was so in CNY mood? Hahaha…

Ministry of Beats Vol. 1

Posted on February 8, 2010February 9, 2010 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Ministry of Beats Vol. 1

Finally got the time to post this event, Ministry of Beats Vol. 1 that was organized by Shiok.org that happened on 30th January 2010 at Royal Oak. It started at 4pm and I reached there at around 4.30pm. What was it all about?

Think of electro beats from the DJ and rhythms by a group of percussionists and drummers. That’s what it’s all about.

Left: We were required to get stamped so that they know we had paid to go in. Went there with media pass. It wasn’t very happening at first. Well… What do you expect? It’s still too early for people to party!

Right: The DJ.

Left: The performers.

Right: We had the chance to try out too! Cool! I haven’t been beating drums for years!

Left: I went there right after I managed the anime collage competition at tHe Spring, that explains why I wore skirt and it doesn’t look decent *LOL*

Middle: Candid shot, I was playing the drum that time.

Right: When the sun went down…

I left at about 8pm+, couldn’t stand it anymore. Was tired due to rushing from one event to another. I didn’t stay long to enjoy the party.

That’s all about my experience at Ministry of Beats Vol. 1.

By the way, photos were taken from random sources in Facebook, namely from Andre, Sheng Han and Cyril. I hope I didn’t miss out anyone. I lost track of the owners of the photos ;p

Check out the video, you can see me in there hahaha… So awkward, really cannot wear skirt to do that! ;p My movement was restricted to the max.

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
