Well… You can’t see much here coz I only cut my front hair heheheh… I took a razor blade and sliced my front hair gradually through the strands. There… I have fringe now π Ehehhe… It turn out ok, not a total disaster but not very obvious. Well… not much different really, I dare not to slice too short. I sliced at least 15cm or so but it’s still long. Oh I did it after washing my hair, that’s why it’s straight in the first photo. The second was taken after it’s dried.
Got inspired by one of the snippets in Cleo August 2006 issue π Hehehe…
“Make razors work double time for you: Instead of using a pair of scissors to keep your fringe in check, try a disposable single-blade razor and make sure it’s single blade unless you want to end up with split hair. Pull your dry fringe forward and hold hair taut at the ends between fingers and slice the blade gradually through the strands till you get your desired length.”
By the way, no makeup!!! Only colourless lip balm LOL… but the second photo, I did photoshopped my eyebags and dark circles. The flash was too harsh and it emphasized too much on them.
I did cut my hair once before. It was years ago and ehehhe… It was OK because I have natural curls and I already have layered cut, even though I simply cut, it had not much effect. I didn’t know what got into me that time. I actually cut my own hair by backcombed all my hair and started snipped, snipped, snipped… Of course following the length where it’s short, it’s short; where it’s long, it’s long.
Please don’t try it at home π I’m not responsible for any damage. It’s best to leave your hair to the pro.
We celebrated Jimmy’s birthday at food fair. I’m not the one organizing it. I’m not the kind that will organize party or whatever. I’m just a lazy girl ahahah… It’s organized by Nien and Wei. The theme for the birthday was Cosplay and we had two cakes for it. See the four people in front of me? You know who are they?
Happy birthday! Well… one day early. It doesn’t matter. We have a video for it too… Not to forget… I’m the host again! π Hahahaah… I’m still as stiff as ever.
“Oh my… it’s so romantic darling! *MUAH* It’s so nice! Thank you very much!”
“*Down on his bended knee* Will you marry me my sweety pie?”
“Oh yes! My chuchu! I do!”
Then the couple sat there looking up the sky, kissing each other under night sky brightened by the fireworks!
Star light,
Star bright,
Let the fireworks,
Brighten up the night sky…
Isn’t it great?
HOLD ON THERE!! ROMANTIC? YOU CALL THAT ROMANTIC!?!? GOSSHHH! That’s ridiculous! You know some Cantonese dramas like to use this kind of scene? It’s misleading! It’s damn torturing! No fun! Neck pain! Looking up to the sky to see the fireworks, and the ashes and debris fell into your eyes, on your head, your face and your body. The sparks fell not far in front of you that might cause burnt if you are so unlucky that it fell on you. Then after the fireworks, you rub your face with a white tissue, you get shimmery greyish stained on the tissue. It’s worst if you are sweating or you have oily skin.
OK! There! This is my first close encounter with fireworks. Seeing it right on the spot instead of my bedroom window. It’s no fun I tell you. It really scares me and I was desperately looking for place to hide from the falling ashes and debris from the sky but then If I went into one of the huts in Hookien Garden, I couldn’t see the whole thing. Both my eyes experienced a bit of discomfort because of the ashes that fell into them. The debris fell on my shoulder and when I swept it off, it left black marks on my shoulders and I need to rub them off. Lots of poeple were quite desperate to find a place to hide from the falling ashes and debris too but couldn’t find a strategic place to see the full fireworks especially those that brought their children along. Wear goggle next time! π I’m afraid no more next time for me!
The fireworks started after the minister offciate the festival. I forgot what time was it because I didn’t have a watch. It’s let off at the Hockey Stadium next to Hokkien Garden. We have a video for it and it’s still editting. Will post it up once I got hold of it.
Don’t get me wrong. I love fireworks very much but not so close to it. Fireworks are romantic but not this way. My idea of romantic fireworks is dining in a high rise building or high place, somewhere that allows you to see the city skyline, any city will do :P, and having candlelit dinner with my love one. After the dinner, we sit there looked out the window, in each other embrace and see the fireworks light up the night sky. That’s romantic LOL! Are you ready to puke? Go ahead π haahhaha… I’m just a hopeless romantic.
This post comes with a video! YAY!! Video!!! I’m hosting it!!
PIKOM PC FAIR 2006 is held at Permata Car Park, 5th floor. It’s from 11-13 August. There are 41 companies take part with the total of 56 stalls.
Well… be frank with you, I don’t know I went there for what because I’m no longer interested in computer hardwares or electronics stuffs and I’m kind lost touch with it already summore I’m jinx! Don’t ask me what are the newest gadget in town or whatever, I DON’T KNOW!! If it’s not because of the assingment that required me to “host” our program π I wouldn’t be going haahah… IT’s indorr and air-conditioned but it’s really hot! The air conditioning wasn’t storng enough and lots pf people too.
So… Enough of all that, here’s the video. It’s in Chinese. Sorry… But do have a look at what’s going on around. It’s a summary of the fair. Not much talking anyway. My face is big in there coz I stood too near to the camera π Couldn’t help it, it’s too hot, I need to tie up my hair. I know many prefer me to have my hair down instead of tying it up hehehe…
