Rene Furterer NATURIA Gentle Balancing Shampoo

Posted on June 26, 2011June 28, 2011 By sweet surrender No Comments on Rene Furterer NATURIA Gentle Balancing Shampoo

Tried this shampoo, thought it will give me good result but too bad it didn’t work as I had expected. My hair didn’t feel great at all.

My hair frizzed and tangled. It’s quite dry after using it. You definitely need conditioner after using it. I tried using a treatment mask after it and I instantly felt the difference. Without the mask/conditioner it’s really a let down.

It’s not suitable for me. However, I bet it should be good for those who wash their hair daily. You have to use a lot to get the foam though. Also, use conditioner after that.

Naturia Gentle balancing shampoo can be used as often as needed to leave your hair soft bouncy and shiny while respecting the natural balance of your scalp.

Its purifing essential oils will also give true pleasure to your senses. Moreover, the unctuous texture and the delicately perfumed light foam bring suppleness and volume to even the finest hair.

Natura Gentle, balancing shampoo makes styling easier. This shampoo, to be used in alternation with treatment shampoos is now part of the Rene Furterer hair care method.

Winter Shopping on Ebay

Posted on June 16, 2011June 18, 2011 By sweet surrender No Comments on Winter Shopping on Ebay

That concludes my winter shopping on Ebay ;p I hope… Basically I got what I need. Bought 4 things on Ebay.

First, it was Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron & Express Finish.

Second, a hooded winter jacket.

I did my research around Rundle Mall and found them too expensive compared to the prices I got on Ebay. So I ended up buying this on Ebay for only AUD21.12 (USD22.44), free postage. It came from Hong Kong. Got into quarantine, so funny but after they checked, nothing was removed. I took a risk to buy it not knowing whether it’s gonna be warm enough or not. Good thing, I made the correct decision, it’s warm enough. The hood is great for the sudden rain since it’ll rain on and off during the winter and umbrella is just useless because of the wind.

Third, a bag from Korea. This is because the bag I was using ever since I’m here was a temporary one. It’s too kiddy *LOL* Definitely not suitable for some formal events such as interview and even some dressing up. Thought of shopping for one here but ended up buying from Ebay.

I decided to go on Ebay just to search around to see if there’s any deal and found it! Original price was AUD20+ but after discount, it’s AUD17.76 (USD18.99). Free shipping too. I didn’t expect the quality to be good for the price I’m paying. When it arrived, it blew me off, it didn’t only come in plastic bag but it has a storage bag with it too (the white one under the bag). Other than the shape isn’t symmetrical, the zippers, buttons, straps, sewing, material and so on are quite good for the price I’m paying. With the 3 compartments, and some small compartments in there, it’s just nice for me to use.

Fourth, a winter tights. I should have buy one back in Kuching when I bought a pair of leggings from 3 Dots since there’s special price if I bought two but I thought I won’t need it, I didn’t go for the offer. Who knows… I need it! So… Have to buy one now…

Similarly, surveyed the market in Adelaide city, again, price wasn’t satisfactory. So I bought from Ebay, this was shipped from Singapore, I thought it’s from China. What a surprise. It’s AUD6.99 (USD7.70). Free shipping also.

Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchases πŸ˜‰ Managed to save quite a fair bit than buying them here even though the winter sale is now on. I still don’t see any cheaper stuffs. I was expecting more discount *LOL*. At least I can utilize my Paypal fund and the money I have here can be used for other things like food.

Ducray Anaphase Stimulating Cream Shampoo for Devitalized Hair

Posted on June 9, 2011June 9, 2011 By sweet surrender 4 Comments on Ducray Anaphase Stimulating Cream Shampoo for Devitalized Hair

I got this quite awhile ago, it’s a sample. The packaging seems very medical and boring. It won’t make me want to buy or even try it. However, when I came to Adelaide, I brought it along with me because it’s small and some how I need to use it so that I don’t have to spend money in buying shampoo here ;p.

I used it for about 2-3 weeks(once every 2 days) and differences can be felt right away after wash! OMG! I was blown away, I didn’t even need any conditioner. My hair was so soft and manageable, it didn’t even tangle.

Highly recommend this for anyone who want something really effective for their dull and unmangeable hair. Less hair fall too. What’s more, only need to use this, no need conditioner at all even though it recommends you to use your usual hair treatment product after hair wash with this. If your hair is really in need of desperate help, maybe you might want to use your usual treatment products for better result.

The Anaphase cream shampoo is the perfect complement to the anti-hair fall treatment (nutricious lotion and complement)thanks to its original formula containing tocopherol Nicotinate, and GP4G.

This patented association of active ingredients stimulates the scalp microcirculation and brings the hair bulb cells the necessary energizing elements for their metabolism.

Two thumbs up for me for the result but packaging wise it’s two thumbs down.

Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron & Express Finish

Posted on May 29, 2011May 30, 2011 By sweet surrender 5 Comments on Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron & Express Finish

Usually I bougth the cheapo nail polish back in M’sia and only used them on my toenails. I never think I will need it here but at the end, I had to get it because I couldn’t stand seeing my ugly fingernails due to daily washing with hands.

I did some survey around the city and decided that I should just get it online because it’s much cheaper.

I got it from Ebay, bought 2 bottles in one go, cost me less than AUD14 (more than USD15, how I wish the USD is much stronger sigh…) inclusive if shipping but it’s the most expensive nail polishes I have ever bought. Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron in MAUVE ON & ON and Express Finish in Sheer Crystal. Since I’m buying online, I just trust my guts on the colours even though it’s shown in the listing. You know how it will differ between photo and real product.

Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron in MAUVE ON & ON is good! I usually have issue applying nail polish on my fingernails but with this, I didn’t even need any correction at all. One attempt only. It’s so easy to apply and the brush is amazing. I quite like the colour, not too bright or too dark. Phew… What’s more, I notice that my fingernails are stronger now too. It’s not that easily bend. One coat is fine but two coats are better. It stayed on my fingernails for almost week before chipping.

I thought Express Finish will have colour but it’s actually transparent, there’s hint of colour but too light to notice. It’s sparkly, meant for the finishing touch but doesn’t sparkle too much, not over the top. When layer on any base colour, you’ll give the base colour a bit of punch or use it on its own. If you are tired of your usual colour, layer this on and you’ll get new colour. However, I notice that when I layered it on Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron in MAUVE ON & ON, it’s not easily solid dried even after hours. It’s like a soft layer on top if you get what I mean. Only until the next day (I applied it at night) it was thoroughly dried, so I got some lines and patterns on the surface but not that obvious. I guess next time I’ll just use it on its own instead of as a top coat. There’s no such problem with using it on its own though.

The big toe has Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron in MAUVE ON & ON as the base and Express Finish as the top coat while the other toe only has Maybelline Forever Strong +Iron in MAUVE ON & ON on it. The colour is not the exact colour in real life. In real life, it’s much darker.

Now I know why it is important to invest in expensive and good nail polish instead of the cheapo one. It lasts longer and easier to apply, minimize the chance of making mistake, and it won’t harm your nails. It’s a good buy.

OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers, Coconut Melon Juicie

Posted on May 17, 2011May 18, 2011 By sweet surrender 2 Comments on OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers, Coconut Melon Juicie

At first I didn’t really like the smell of OPI Avojuice Coconut Melon Juice, it’s too sweet. However, when I got used to it, I kind of like it, it smells so yummy. The lushness of tropical fruit blend and bursting with natural moisturizers to juice up the skin. That’s what stated on the bottle ;p

It’s a really good product but not that affordable πŸ™ Since it’s quite dry here and I have to do a lot of washing with my hands, this comes in handy and it really lives up to what it claimed. My hands feel so smooth and hydrated. I’m running out of it soon πŸ™ I don’t plan to stock up because it’s way too much for my budget. Even back in Malaysia, I won’t spend this amount of money.

Oh well… Anyway, it’s really a good skin moisturiser and budget is not an issue, why don’t give this a try. You can always go for other smells, they all work the same. However, be warned that the smell is really strong and sweet.

P/S: Ignore the typo in the photo πŸ˜€
