Happy 2021

Posted on January 1, 2021 By sweet surrender No Comments on Happy 2021

So… 2020 is over… What flying car? What developed country? Nothing… The country is only going backward with power crazy politikus coupled with the pandemic which turned the country upside down. Are we seeing light at the end of the tunnel? I don’t know… One thing for sure, it’s f*ck up in the political front whether there’s a pandemic or not. All these things are out of our control, can’t really do much but to ride with the unsettling waves. However, I’m glad that I survived 2020 without much of a problem with my loved ones. Thankful for that. This is more important than anything else.

Will 2021 be better? Not going to expect too much for this year. It will be pretty much the same as 2020. With the state election that will be coming really soon, I guess what Sabah has been going through even until now will be coming to Sarawak too. What can we do? Nothing… We can only take care of ourselves and fend for ourselves while the power hungry politikus play their game of power.

That’s all I can say for 2020. Take care and pray that there will be miracle one day. What a way to start the new year.

Malaysia RMCO Extended to 31st December 2020

Posted on September 1, 2020September 3, 2020 By sweet surrender No Comments on Malaysia RMCO Extended to 31st December 2020

So… It’s September, we are still in RMCO. It’s supposed to end on 31st August 2020 but our PM announced that it will be extended until 31st December 2020. There goes our 2020… Down the drain… Who would expect that your 2020 will be staying at home without flying cars or LRT? 😀 Whatever it is, continue to stay safe and stay healthy.

I’ve started to do some videos with my Canon IXUS 285 HS that I bought in 2018 after having it sitting there doing nothing after my Osaka trip last year. I have two playlists for it, one is about any video that I could record and upload without editing while the other one is video of cloud with relaxing or calming music. Here’s the playlists:

Just a quick short post this time. I’m slacking… Can’t believe it’s September already… Gonna be one year older… Can time slow down? Anyway, just hope to see things improve and hope that we can go back to our normal life.

Malaysia RMCO 10th June – 31st August

Posted on June 10, 2020June 10, 2020 By sweet surrender No Comments on Malaysia RMCO 10th June – 31st August

So… Today is the first day of RMCO for Malaysia. What do you think? Are you happy? It will last till 31st August 2020. Hang in there!

Well… Gonna foresee people coming out like no tomorrow for the next few weeks. All SOPs already down the drain when CMCO started, what’s more when RMCO, it will be even worst. I’m seeing people starting to do filming, photo shooting, bicycle and motorbike convoy when CMCO started which weren’t allowed. It’s only allowed now, during RMCO, not CMCO. People didn’t care. They knew it is not allowed but they didn’t bother. If you are so desperate, do it quietly, don’t post it all over the social media and brag about it. It shows that you are no better than those old folks who didn’t follow the order in the beginning. You were complaining about them and now you are doing it yourself. *LOL* Go figure… Anyway, it’s RMCO now, I guess you will start doing things that RMCO not allow this time around. Human…

#day85 of #movementcontrolorder , if you ever wonder about the story behind this photo which is also my Instagram profile photo… It's my first assignment of my previous employment, I was asked to manage a group of Chinese media from Guangzhou and Shenzhen way back in 2016. We had our dinner at the bistro(don't remember the name 😂) at #damaicentral . It's a candid shot by one of the medias. Was busy coordinating with my ex-boss on the phone. Stress… It's not even my project and was asked to take over without much info… just "nge nge lu" as what we say in Hokkien. In other words, just forcefully push it forward 😂 Lucky I got help from the travel agent that was tasked to coordinate this project. . Officially… #Sarawak is also in RMCO now… Today is the first of of #Malaysia RMCO. Please ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy and drive responsibly after being caged up for months. It's not time to act like caged animals regain freedom. You are better than that! #staysafe #drivesafe #socialdistancing .

Malaysia CMCO Extended to 9th June 2020

Posted on May 11, 2020May 11, 2020 By sweet surrender No Comments on Malaysia CMCO Extended to 9th June 2020

Yesterday, our PM announced that Malaysia CMCO period will be extended until 9th June 2020. Most people will get to go back to work with the set SOP of course. I would suggest you to do your grocery shopping during office hour instead of the weekend or after office hour to avoid the working crowd especially if you are still required to stay home or do not work.

However, I cannot understand the maximum 20 people gathering part. Even in Australia, it’s only 10 people, what makes you think 20 is safe? Why must there be gathering? I really don’t get it. It’s not essential at all. Whatever it is, best is to just stay home and don’t go out when there is nothing important. Avoid crowded place, confined place, and close conversation. Stay safe!

Since we will still be staying at home, you might want to try to plant your own bean sprouts. I did a video for it 😉 Have fun trying!

No More MCO4 but MCO5

Posted on May 4, 2020May 4, 2020 By sweet surrender No Comments on No More MCO4 but MCO5

So… Before MCO4 even ended, we suddenly gone into MCO5. Many businesses can now open for business. Many people will be going back to work. What do you think? Is this the right move?

Whatever it is, do your own part. If you are not comfortable opening for business, then don’t; if you are afraid of crowd, then don’t go to crowded place; if you are not comfortable dining in, then don’t! It’s up to yourself to self-regulate. However, come to think of it, businesses are operating, they will need customers, if everyone staying at home, not going out to give them business, they will not have enough to cover their overhead at all. So how? Like this also problem, like that also problem.

Aside from that, business should take the SOP seriously because if one of your staff is tested positive, you will be responsible for sanitizing all the relevant areas that the authority wants you to sanitize and whoever that are affected by the positive staff will be under your responsibility. Remember that the amount you need is not just sanitizing your premise, you might be required to sanitize the areas around you, that will cost a lot! You will need to make sure you have enough to cover such unfortunate event. Otherwise, you’ll be in deep trouble if you don’t because I’m sure your sales for the day will not be able even cover those cost furthermore you will be instructed to close for business for a period of time too.

For the rest who are still staying at home or have nothing important to do out there, just stay at home. Those who need to go to work, keep yourself safe and follow the SOP, no crowded place, no confined place, and no close conversation. Frankly… Not that possible but just try your best to avoid.

Oh! Now you can have 4 people from the same house to travel in car. Can go out shopping for the whole family.

Till then, take care!

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
