This is located near Choice Daily. Heard that it’s very popular for its roti canai. Went there to have a drink and roti canai+egg+onions. 2 drinks and a roti canai+egg+onions cost us RM5. Surprisingly, they have 5% government tax which caught us in surprise. It took them quite a while to get our drinks. The roti canai was sent to us first before the drinks arrived. As for the roti canai… Nothing much, it’s just roti canai with egg and onion.

Sidewalk
Finally the line is back around noon, apparently I’m not the only one facing this problem, those staying at this area were facing with the same problem too! TM is always full of problems, I just realised that they charged us twice for the monthly subscription fee! It said that we didn’t pay last month! GRRR! I’m not the only one having this problem also.
We are asked to meet up at Sidewalk by Nick last 2 nights. I’ve never been to Sidewalk, this is my first time. They were all quite surprised that this is my first time there hahaha… I found out that the boss is the same boss as Oregano. No wonder both have the same concept.

We only ordered drinks there. We ordered Hot Chocolate(price N/A), Ice Blended Papaya Milk(RM5.80), Lemonade(price N/A) and Ice Blended Crush Guava(RM5.80). Nothing to rave about.
Nothing much. Just chit chatting and catching up with each other. I”m usre most of you know where it’s situated. For those of you that have no idea, it’s at the shoplots at Green Heights.
Sister Crispy Popiah
My Streamyx still down.*SIGH* Hate you! This post is auto published.
This is the latest craze(I think) in Kuching. My parents bought this back from the ground floor of Crowne Plaza(Riverside) yesterday. There were so many people buying it till they had to call people to send more ingredients over. Well… It will frizzle after the craze because it’s something new. Kuchingites are like this, when there is new thing, people will all flock there and then after the heat is over, most will not go back for the second time.

I tried this popiah, as it claims, it’s indeed crispy. However, I still prefer the traditional type of popiah than this. It’s not as flavourful as the traditional one. At least that’s what my tastebuds told me. So, I guess most will not go back for the second time.
By the way, they do provide catering(at least 300 rolls) and free delivery(at least 30 rolls). If you are interested, here’s the contact numbers, 012-8842210 or 012-8882210.
Jalan Song
Down, still down! Streamyx SUCKSSSSSSSSSS! Tomorrow is still a holiday!!! GRRRR!!! I’m borrowing my friend’s line now.*SIGH*
Let me present to you, Jalan Song. One of the food galores in Kuching. It’s always packed almost every night. Well… It won’t be that packed if there is no pirated DVDs or VCD on sale. Still, this is the place to get all kind of food. From local food such as laksa, kampua, kolomee… To international food like western and japanese food.

(Right photo)Here’s where people digging for pirated DVDs and VCDs. If you know how to bargain, it’s going to be dirt cheap. Quality wise, you have to depend on your luck. Fight piracy! Does it work? I don’t think so hahaha… When there is such demand, I don’t think there is anyway to stop it. In this situation, if the enforcement officers suddenly came, can you imagine how the scene will be? WOW!

Met Lee, Johnson and Nick(mystery guest of the day) and we ordered some food for supper. I only remember to take two photos of the food that I’m craving for hahaha… The rest I forgot. Hehehe… We ordered Takoyaki, Uncle BOB Fried Chicken Fillet, “zhu chang fen”(no photo) and kampua(no photo).
Uncle BOB Fried Chicken Fillet gains its popularity last year at Kuching Festival Food Fair. However, it doens’t taste so good last night, kinda tasteless compare to those times I had at the food fair. You can have spicy or original, each costs RM4.50.

Then, this is Takoyaki, They claimed that it the first Kuching. It was in The Borneo Post, PostMag before. I had a sudden crave for it actually, that’s why we ended up at Jalan Song 😛 Hehehe… One box is RM3.50, each box consisted of two octopus takoyaki and two prawn takoyaki. I love the bonito that were sprinkled on top, they looked plastic like hahah… Takoyaki tastes odd for those who have it for the first time. Once you get used to it, it’s quite delicious hehehe… *drool* Does the real takoyaki tastes like this? I’m not sure. Wait till one day I visit Japan for it hahaha… In my dream…

So, that’s all about Jalan Song. It’s not in the city center. The only way is to get there by taxi or drive yourself there. Not much food choices during day time but at night you will be spoilt with so many choices. Hmm… I’m still craving for more takoyaki -.-”
Mr. Ho’s Fine Food
*BLEK* I’m going to get new hair tomorrow. Made an appointment already, I hope I will not regret it. Then you can see my photos again 😛 Hehehe… I haven’t post my photos for a long long long time already. Somebody is complaining.
Went to Mr. Ho’s Fine Food @ Crown Square for a drink. Hmmm… Nothing special there. The drinks are pricey, nothing fancy, just normal drinks you can get in normal kopitiam. Not much choice of food. Cheesecakes cost RM6.50 and above. Really… I don’t feel it worth it to spend my money there. Well, those take away food aren’t so bad though, at least from the look of it. Nuh… Not going back for second time, not dine-in definitely.

They sell many type of wines, imported fresh juices, cheese, pastas ingredients, and imported poultry.
Hmm… Aren’t this place supposed to be smoke free? Gah… Hate it! People at the end there kept smoking non-stop.Those people over there, *NEH* you can see them in the left photo.

Left: I think their kitchen is open concept.
Right: Apple Juice and Orange Juice, RM5.50 each. Nothing to rave about. Just fruit drinks from either bottle or box.
